Synaptic.js is the best library we have used in our development processes to support the contain orchestration in Kubernetes. It is also very cost-effective, has multiple features like the easy connection with various networks, supports multilayered architecture, and can be used in any training set. The library is open-source. If any urgent issue arises, we have to hold our development work until a fix comes up. Last time due to one code issue, our deployment process hung in between. Upon investigation, we found that some [particular lines were not supporting one of the layers in our architecture. That caused a spike in our development work. Some time ago we were doing some neural network tests and Synaptic.js was our first option to take into account, at first it seemed like a better idea to use python, but here we say that it is not worth reinventing the wheel, Synaptic.js offers us just what we were looking for Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
one of the aspects that could improve is the direct contact with the community, although it has good documentation on github it would be great to have a discord channel where information can be shared in real time Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It is very easy to build a neural network in Javascript by making use of Synaptic.js. It includes built-in architectures like multilayer perceptron, Hopfield networks, etc. Also, there aren't many other libraries out there that allow you to build a second order network. Even though adequate documentation is provided by the team behind Synaptic.js, I feel that it is not easy for a newbie to implement what he/she requires due to the fact that it is a relatively new library which means that you won't find many tutorial videos related to it. It is straightforward to start coding the neural network in javascript using the synaptic library. I had previously coded the neural network by myself, so the abstraction provided by the library, like synaptic, is constructive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Not suitable for a large neural network. Need more work on the documentation; some of the links on the readme are broken. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The best thing about synaptic.js is it has many predefined network types like multilayer perceptrons, long-short-term memory networks, etc. It is one of the very few which allows you to create second order and recurrent networks. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I feel there are not a lot of community-based blogs written outside on how to use synaptic.js easily. So it becomes difficult for newcomers to implement it and use it for their scenario easily. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I can make now second order neural network in my favourite programming language. It is amazing to know that now I can use javascript to do machine learning and make my own neural network. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The functions are kinda difficult to remember. But the documentation is very well made and I can use it to make up for the difficulties. So that's not something too bad. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Synaptic.js is a very quick way to create a Neural Network in Javascript. These types of Neural Network are the future of computing. So it's kind of mind blowing that you can do it in the browser just using plain old Javascript code! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Nothing really. It comes with an excellent amount of documentation. However, because it is relatively new there is little in the way of thrid party learning content like tutorial videos. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The generalised algorithm is architecture free and it includes built-in training tasks like the Embedded Reber Grammar test, so you can easily test and compare and then evaluate different architectures' performance. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The complexity of using Synaptic.js could be higher for some users/programmers which can bring difficulties in using this library efficiently. Also, the Lack of Demos or Documentation could bring more errors in the task/program being performed by the users/programmers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It's FREE, YES, you heard it right, it's a free-to-use javascript to make first- or second-order neural networks for your needs. There are already built-in architectures, like image filters, read from Wikipedia. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It is outdated in this modern world. It is replaced with many big tools like HTML 5 and others for browsers. There are still security lags in java so use it carefully. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It can be easily used with browser or node.js!
One of the best features it has got is it's ability to build & train any first-order or second-order neural architecture with ease due to its architecture-free algorithms.
Allows imports and exports of networks into stand alone Json format which allows interaction with other neural networks.
It also includes a built-in trainer that's capable of training any specific neural network.
As it's an open source library anyone can pick it up contribute or use for free. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It might not be a great fit for implementing huge networks! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
