We have historically had a relationship which focussed on our hosting capabilities on drupal. As Acquia has grown as an organization we have focussed less and less on hosting and moved deeper into our more robust suite of products. Unfortunately, we have not done a great job at bringing our partners along with us for the ride, and one of the targets I have for this year is to make sure Symetris is fully enabled on any Acquia products that could fit into the scope of work that they take on. As noted above, the "problems" are really just a matter of technology usage and enablement which we have a plan in place to address.
