What do you like best about Symantec Web Security Service?

The Endpoint Manager is a standout feature, letting you manage policies for virus protection, firewall, and exceptions in different areas. The flexibility in deploying clients on servers or standalone packages makes it a good fit for different types of businesses. I also like that you can tweak the settings to turn on or off specific threat notifications. The support is also responsive, they do the job. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Symantec Web Security Service?

The performance takes a hit, especially when you're dealing with file-based databases like Visual Fox Pro. If you're working a lot with those systems, it gets kind of clunky, and it definitely needs some tweaking to run smoother. Compatibility is another headache. It doesn't play nice with some major programs. Like, the latest update messed with my Chrome browser, and I had to uninstall it to get things back to normal. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Symantec Web Security Service solving and how is that benefiting you?

There's Virus and Spyware Protection, Proactive Threat Protection and Network and Host Exploit Mitigation. These help in content filtering and allow to control access the websites based on predefined categories. We use it to block some websites in our organizations. There's also data loss protection and secure remote access, which adds an extra security layer for the sensitive data that our company carries. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Symantec Integrated Cyber Defense?

Symantec Cyber Defense prevents systems from external vulnerabilities and threats by identifying them and notifying the user about it. It prevents viruses and spyware from attacking the systems by constantly monitoring the devices for any malwares. As it continues running in the background, it is very easy to use and implement too. The dashboard provides a complete health check of the system and keeps the users up to date about the identified digital threats. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
