The way the customizable fields are laid out makes it easy to see what needs to be updated. There isn't a lot in terms of figuring out where information needs to be put, which is nice. You are also able to see updates to your campaign status in real-time, which means you don't need to constantly refresh the page. **What do you dislike about Swell Fundraising?** It would be nice if there were ways to customize the main background or page background on the site. Being able to really brand it to match your organizations branding would be a big bonus. **Recommendations to others considering Swell Fundraising:** I highly recommend Swell Fundraising to anyone who may be interested in using the platform. Their customer service is fantastic, the platform is very easy to use, and it's reasonably priced. Even when we had a minor technical issue with the platform, the team at Swell was quick to resolve it. We will likely continue to use them well into the future for other events, especially hybrid events, as we are able to incorporate them into whatever efforts we are doing. I really cannot recommend them enough and encourage anyone looking for an affordable, top-of-the-line virtual event platform to give them a try. **What problems is Swell Fundraising solving and how is that benefiting you?** We have been able to easily transition to virtual events with Swell Fundraising and also involve many people outside our immediate community in our fundraising efforts. Giving through the platform is very easy and straight forward. We've been able to increase the number of people involved in our campaigns very easily with minimal effort thanks to the platform. It has an easy platform to build and design your site on your own, it is easy to raise money and track progress for individual pages because there is no log in, account setup time, it is easy to get reports on the back end from an administrative perspective, it is easy to interface with your own donor software, it is easy to manage the transfer of money from Swell to your bank accounts and accounting process -- and on top of it all, its addictive and FUN to watch all of it come together in front of your eyes. **What do you dislike about Swell Fundraising?** Like all software, there are some cases that you want it to be more customized for your specific event/function. I think Swell does a great job of helping think through solutions to what you are trying to do in the format of their software. **What problems is Swell Fundraising solving and how is that benefiting you?** In a market where people are busy and are bombarded with events and requests for money, the peer to peer online recruiting platform has proven to be amazingly successful for us. If it weren't for that, we'd use Swell exclusively for our events. **Recommendations to others considering Swell Fundraising:** If you're having an outdoor, daytime event, Swell's leaderboard feature won't work because you can't view large screens when there's daylight. My biggest issue was how there were multiple ways in the set up to achieve the same result. So in delegating responsibilities and being democratic with my committee, we made the process of fundraising too complicated. Information about the event/fundraiser, a place to purchase/donate and then there is automatic responses that go out to donors to keep them engaged. **What do you dislike about Swell Fundraising?** Editing the swell pages can be time consuming and don't allow as much creative freedom within their system. We have to do creative design in a different program and then upload that image to swell. Most venues we have tried to use it at don't have a strong enough wifi signal to play back the videos we have. The software leverages not only our organization's network but those of all our guests to solicit donations for our cause. Swell also makes so many logistical aspects of conducting our event easier, such as ticket sales, organizing tables, and sales and donations at the event itself. **What do you dislike about Swell Fundraising?** Nothing, really. I am an early adopter, so I experienced some of the changes and improvements as the software evolved (and still does, as they are always making it better). Even so, any inconveniences I may have experienced were minor.
