What I like best about Suzy is how quickly it provides structured feedback from targeted audiences. In my work, decisions often need to be made within tight timelines, and waiting for traditional research methods is not always practical. Suzy allows research activities to be completed much faster while keeping everything organized in one platform.

The interface is straightforward, making survey creation, audience targeting, and results review relatively easy. I also like the real-time reporting and dashboards because they make it easier to identify trends and understand responses without spending significant time preparing reports manually.

Another benefit is having quantitative and qualitative research tools available in a single environment. This reduces the need to move between different platforms and improves workflow efficiency. The onboarding process was also well structured, helping new users become productive quickly. Overall, the combination of speed, usability, and reliable insights provides good value for teams that regularly need customer or market feedback.

One challenge is that some advanced research capabilities require time to learn properly. While basic surveys are easy to create, more complex audience targeting and research configurations can take additional training.

What I like most about Suzy is how it democratizes consumer insights for creative teams — putting real-time feedback directly in the hands of designers, not just researchers.  Before Suzy, I was completely dependent on our strategy team or external agencies for consumer testing. I'd hand off my work and wait days or weeks for a report. Now, I can field my own concept tests and see results in hours. That autonomy is liberating. I iterate immediately. I learn faster. I present with confidence.  Suzy's monadic testing capabilities help eliminate bias by presenting different brand concepts one at a time to targeted audiences. No side-by-side confusion. No order bias. Just clean, comparative data.  It replaces slow, expensive traditional research. Focus groups used to take 2-3 weeks to recruit, moderate, and analyze. Suzy delivers results in hours. For an agency like STRICHPUNKT juggling multiple client deadlines — Audi, Porsche, Deutsche Bahn — that speed is essential.  The platform also functions as an all-in-one "Connected Research Cloud" , consolidating tools we used to need as separate subscriptions: surveys, video interviews (Suzy Speaks), focus groups (Suzy Live), and trend monitoring. That saves us money and keeps everything organized in one place.

The learning curve is real. Suzy offers a full suite of tools — surveys, Suzy Speaks, Suzy Live, trend monitoring — but that breadth comes with complexity. Multiple user reviews confirm a "steep learning curve due to extensive features and functionality." I've experienced this myself. Teaching a new designer how to set up a monadic test with proper quotas, targeting, and quality controls takes several sessions. For a busy agency with high turnover on junior staff, that training overhead adds up.

Everything is just plug and play in terms of adding different types of questions, and looking at the responses that could be there with both fixed number of responses and open-ended questions. The setup was very easy, as the installation handles everything without much input from me.

**What do you like best about Suzy?**

All the benefits of proprietary community without the hassle. You get to recontact respondents when needed because Suzy owns the respondents (instead of sample providers).  Before Suzy we had a proprietary panel but spent a fair amount of time and energy just keeping our respondents engaged, even when we were not conducting business critical research.  With Suzy you get the benefit of all their other clients also doing research, so engagement does not fall on any one client.  In addition, the tool was easy to use, support was always available, and it delivered quality reports.

**What do you dislike about Suzy?**

Managing credit use across multiple users was sometime combersome.  Also ,regular surveys need to be done to ensure any key screening criteria is up to date, as the way they survey consumers does not technically allow for terminating based on screening questions within the survey.  Not very onerous but requires a rethinking of how one normally conducts surveys.

Suzy allows us to do research quickly and efficiently.  Tool has templates that make conducting research easier and allows non-research professionals to do their own research.

Speed! I love being able to send out last minute questions out knowing I'm likely going to get a couple hundred responses at minimum within hours. It's a savior! The platform is very intuitive, easy to navigate, and pretty easy to build your own quant surveys. The customer service has also been pretty consistent in quality and timeliness. I like how approachable the team is and the support we get in troubleshooting or navigating more difficult projects.

I wish the focus group platform had more tools for labeling/organizing themes. I've used other research platforms that do a better job in this area.

Suzy has been very valuable on a big product launch project. Getting feedback on marketing assets in a very short time period was critical to making last minute changes. I appreciate how many pre existing templates exist to get moving right away.

Most of all, I appreciate the Suzy experts who have guided me to use the platform effectively.

I also like the pre-made reports that the platform can quickly generate.

It would be great if the platform were able to eliminate more steps in terms of combining various data points together.

I genuinely look forward to meeting with my reps at Suzy. Their kindness and willingness to collaborate has always been among the best I've experienced in 10 years of working with research partners. 

I appreciate that they have a strong pipeline of product updates with new features that make it less likely for me to need to go elsewhere.

**What do you dislike about Suzy?**

Screeners have been a bit of a pain point for us. Given everything else happening in our day to day, it's not always top of mind to run a new screener. It's happened that we need to run a quick survey, only to find the screener is out of date. Reminders would be so helpful.

**What problems is Suzy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I consistently feel like a valued customer and appreciate the level of support I receive with requests. My Suzy contact went above and beyond by researching my company's clients and suggesting expanded uses of the platform. That helped me get more visibilty with my CEO as a thoughtful and proactive team member. Always a plus!

**What do you like best about Suzy?**

The customer service from Suzy is outstanding. Cara is by far my favorite vendor contact! The platform itself is fast and easy to use. The ability to quickly turn around a short survey--or even a single question--is invaluable when senior management is pushing for fast answers. Providing them with much quicker answers than expected reflects well on my job, which is never a bad thing! I’m impressed that they’re always working to provide a better product by listening to customer needs.

**What do you dislike about Suzy?**

I wish it were less expensive so I could rely more on it. Pricing/credits for the more advanced question types is steep. The quick turnaround makes regular questions worth it, but I’ve been reluctant to use the credit numbers required for MaxDiff or conjoint surveys. I've found some limitations within programming questions on attribute character length, etc., that are an obstacle to work through—it’s not as customizable in question programming as some other survey platforms. The reporting portal has gotten much better at providing customized data cuts. I don’t find the UX and analytical abilities are still not entirely on par with some survey platforms. However, they are constantly working on it, so I expect it to improve.

Suzy fills our business need of obtaining data quickly. It allows us to use research when making urgent decisions for the business or when we only have a few questions we need answered (and not worth the cost and time of using a typical sample panel)

Within less time than it takes to craft the survey, surveys are fielded. Whenever I'm not sure about the best way to implement an idea, Suzy's team helps me ideate and problem solve.

It's easy to launch a survey to get a gut check on an idea, piece of creative, or audience behavior. There's several different survey types - from monadic to multiple choice question surveys. It's so easy to use and get up and running quickly.

I have very few qualms about Suzy. There are two things I think can improve: the audience panel and making the under flow of targeting and panel usage a bit easier. I've accidentally launched surveys that could have been improved by not including the retargeting or including the retargeting. There's something that's a bit confusing about it. Further, about the panels, there could be more diversity of age, ethnicity, and race.

Suzy is a great platform for surveying and reaching a targeted panel of US consumers. My favorite part about Suzy is the customer service. My Customer Success Manager, Sadie, has monthly check-ins with our team to understand what we may need for the future and support us in crafting surveys. Sadie and her team are super responsive and flexible in supporting us through challenges, mistakes, etc.

**What do you dislike about Suzy?**

I wish Suzy's "insights" dashboard (which summarizes the survey after it's completed) was a little more flexible and visual. I find that I end up just downloading the raw data and making my own graphs in google sheets, so I can parse the data by whatever metrics I want (i.e. gender, question answered, parent v. non-parent). Good news is that this feature is coming soon I believe!

The screener user interface is a little inconvenient for two reasons:
1.  The window for seeing the string of targeting is quite small and cannot be expanded.  It requires scrolling to see what you have.
2.  The selection of surveys for targeting can be ambiguous if you have multiple surveys of the same name but you want a specific one.  It would be nice to be able to hover over a survey and see the meta data  (e.g. specific date, tags)

**What problems is Suzy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Understanding the consumer when the consumer is across the US.  Suzy allows me to do this rapidly and cheaply, with large sample sizes.  This would be prohibitive for in-person studies.
