SUSE Linux Enterprise Server is designed for enterprise servers, mainframes and workstations. But this can also be installed on desktops. I have a VM running SUSE Linux Enterprise Server that i use as sandbox machine. Installation is easy and can be made automated using Auto YaST package utility.
SUSE has grown over years and has made it's way battling big rivals like RHEL. I have been working with Linux distributions since a decade now. I was not a big fan of SUSE in initial years but now that i use it, i am satisfied that we are using SUSE in our project. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

One possible negative of SLES is that it is not a free and open-source operating system like many other Linux variants. SLES requires a paid membership for business use. However, SUSE provides a free community version named openSUSE. Some businesses that favour open-source software and are on a tight budget may find this a limiting issue.
Compared to other Linux distributions like Ubuntu or CentOS, SLES may not have as large of a user base or third-party software support. Nonetheless, SUSE offers thorough certifications and support services for their operating system, which might be helpful for business clients.
