Nothings changed in the past year for me. The key element is still to get an over view of how people perceive or do things and how they are responding to them.

Just a tiny bit improvement. Options are vast and are usually the most options that most people will gravitate to.

I merely use it to do surveys. Surveys also help with keeping up with what’s happening and gives you a perspective of how things are in terms of growth and change!

**What do you like best about SurveyMonkey?**

The ability to administer exams and to have the results available immediately to our attendees is absolutely the best thing about Survey Monkey for us.  We upgraded our version not just for that ability, but it played a major part.

**What do you dislike about SurveyMonkey?**

We currently use Survey Monkey to administer exams, surveys, and evaluations.  One of the drawbacks is that Survey Monkey does not have the ability to score every type of question, which is those cases requires us to do quite a bit of manual calculations.

**What problems is SurveyMonkey solving and how is that benefiting you?**

With the ability to provide participants with instant results, as well as instant calculations on surveys, Survey Monkey has made an unbelievable dent in the manual work that needs to be done to score exams, and provide reports on surveys and evaluations.

**What do you like best about SurveyMonkey?**

Survey Monkey is a useful platform for creating tests, surveys, and questionnaires to gather feedback from customers on a broad scale. I have used it a couple of times with the free account to gauge the preferences of the clients at the company where I work. The free plan allows access to a limited number of questions, but with the paid plans, it is possible to create much longer and more comprehensive surveys. I did not need to contact customer support during my experience, but I know others who have used it and found the service to be quick and helpful. Survey Monkey offers a software that is easy to implement and integrates well with other programs, such as email clients, making it simple to distribute surveys to a large audience.

**What do you dislike about SurveyMonkey?**

I wish there were a few more options available with the free plan. Aside from that, I consider Survey Monkey to be a high-quality service.

**What problems is SurveyMonkey solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Survey Monkey is a useful tool for gaining insight into customer preferences and for designing personalized surveys. You can create surveys on your own or take advantage of AI assistance to help build them.

It continues to be easy to use, but the Google suite is as well. With other similar products on the market, it wouldn’t be my top choice lately.

Easy to use, less "ad" look to it. It can look cheaper than other similar products on the market.

the ability to check with staff and get a pulse of what is working and what is not working. Rather than send emails that go unanswered a survey is an easy way to touch base

SurveyMonkey is simplistic and not too challenging to use. I've created numerous surveys in a prior role and never had too much trouble getting things configured and sent to users.

Survey monkey is a decent tool if you don’t required too many advanced features. They tout themselves as the global leader in free surveys, but their free model is VERY limited in terms of responses and survey capabilities.

Easy, simplistic surveys that users can quickly use to voice their opinion on an upcoming change or new process.

**What do you like best about SurveyMonkey?**

The platform is thoughtfully designed to support rich, flexible data collection workflows. Being able to embed videos, images and other rich media directly into surveys is incredibly valuable when i need participants to react to visual stimuli or evaluate UI prototypes. It adds an experimental rigor that plain text questions simply cant provide. I also really like how easily surveymonkey forms can be embedded into websites.

I dont have any real dislikes. Everything i have used far has worked smoothly.

**What problems is SurveyMonkey solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The multilingual functionality is a big win. When i'm running cross regional studies or collecting training data from diverse user groups, the ability to create translated versions of a survey without managing multiple separate forms saves a tone of time and reduces errors. The mobile friendly design is essential. Whether i'm collecting responses in person, doing field testing or just checking in o progress n the go, the mobile experience is smooth and reliable.

Survey Monkey offers a straightforward way to gather feedback from your customers on particular issues or topics. It excels at compiling the collected data and presenting it in a comprehensive report, making analysis much simpler. The platform is user-friendly, and the final outcome allows you to gain insights into your client base while still maintaining their anonymity—an essential feature in today’s competitive environment.

**What do you dislike about SurveyMonkey?**

Survey Monkey's platform feels somewhat outdated, with workflows that aren't as intuitive as they could be. It doesn't seem to anticipate the needs of either survey creators or participants, which can make the process less engaging and helpful. The templates also appear old-fashioned and do not adapt to the specific goals of the survey creator, which is a drawback. Integration with other applications that can use the data acquired from Survey Monkey is not very deep and only integrates with a few platforms. Additionally, the data analysis features are quite basic, and making any customizations tends to be expensive. Customer support tries to be helpful but they have limited options unless you plan on spending more and more money.

Survey Monkey is providing my team with actionable insights in building a buyer persona for our product.  It gives us easy and quick access to people that may be in the market for what we produce - can determine their needs and timelines in potentially making a purchase. This allows us to build out a workflow around the collected data - so we do not spend time and money in areas that will not yield a return.

The amount of ads that SurveyMonkey has can be very distracting, I prefer using Google Forms now to avoid this.

We mainly use SurveyMonkey to gather feedback from both customers and employees. It’s particularly helpful for creating quick surveys that let us gauge satisfaction levels, track opinions on new initiatives, and collect ideas for improvement. The platform makes it easy to design surveys, distribute them by email or link, and then review and analyze the results using clear, user-friendly reporting tools. One drawback of SurveyMonkey is that while it’s easy to set up surveys, the customization options can still feel limited—especially if you’re looking for more advanced design or branding. The reporting tools are fairly basic as well, and when you want to dig deeper into the analytics, you often end up having to export the data to another tool. Integrations generally work, but they aren’t always as seamless as we’d like, and the pricing can start to feel high once you need access to premium features. The mobile experience is also less capable than the desktop version, which makes it harder to review and analyze results when you’re on the go.

SurveyMonkey helps us solve the challenge of collecting and organizing feedback in a structured, consistent way. advanced features like analytics and team collaboration are often only available on higher paid plans which makes it feel restrictive.

I like how SurveyMonkey provides a lot of information in a single survey, which allows me to include couple of liners or pointers based on my needs. The ability to pick and choose a lot of questions and gather multiple answers in one survey is convenient. I also appreciate that it offers detailed insights and allows for feedback collection in a very detailed manner. The anonymous feature is great for collecting names and email IDs as needed. The setup is quite easy and doesn't take much time, offering very easy access to create multiple questions.

I use SurveyMonkey to set out questions for nurses to help them in their certification journey. I find the seamless participation and engagement a big plus. The analytics part is particularly valuable as it allows me to gather data and focus on priorities. I also appreciate how I can use it with Webex Meeting, which adds to its utility.

**What do you dislike about SurveyMonkey?**

Sometimes making a survey is time-consuming even if you've been doing it for a while. I wish there was online support on the side to answer questions right away. The initial setup was difficult, and we had to have a technician grant us access.

I use SurveyMonkey for seamless participation and engagement. The analytics help me gather data and focus on priorities.

I also appreciate the built-in reporting, survey logic, and integrations that help me collect and analyze feedback efficiently.

I feel that customization and research capabilities can be somewhat limited compared to more advanced platforms like Qualtrics.

**What problems is SurveyMonkey solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I really think the payment portal needs some improvement for integrations. Though once it set up, it became an easy solution for smaller events. Not all of our ticketed options need to go through the bigger ticket merchants - Ticketmaster/Axs etc.

Templates are clean but kinda… corporate. More modern fonts, color gradients, full-page themes, and mobile-first layouts would help it feel less “2008”. Typeform beat them here.

**What do you like best about SurveyMonkey?**

this platform hits the prime spot between ease of deployment, integration readiness and platform reliability making it a tool i can definitely recommend. The export functionality on the reporting side is clean, CSV files have predictable formatting and the metadata fields are stable over time which makes it suitable for long term automation pipelines. The way surveymonkey structures collectors, respondents and responses maps neatly into most CRM schemes. This reduces the amount of transformation logic i need to build when integrating with other platforms.

**What do you dislike about SurveyMonkey?**

There is minimal lag when creating multi logic forms which is not always the case with comparable platforms.

**What problems is SurveyMonkey solving and how is that benefiting you?**

i can deploy surveys quickly for pilots, user studies or POCs. i reduces engineering overhead because the structure is predictable and stable across surveys. It reduces maintenance because surveymonkey handles the heavy lifting around form submissions and data storage. i can design user journeys that adapt to responses without writing custom code. It provides instant dashboards with filtering, charting and trend analysis.

I like how easy SurveyMonkey is to use while still being very powerful. The interface is intuitive, which allows me to create surveys quickly without needing technical skills, and there are plenty of ready-made templates to get started fast. I also really like the real-time analytics and reporting features because they make it simple to understand responses and spot trends immediately. I have been using SurveyMonkey for years, and I find that its ease of use continues to improve for both authors and participants. I really appreciate how simple it is to create surveys with the drag-and-drop feature—it makes the whole process much more efficient. I absolutely love how user-friendly it has become.

**What do you dislike about SurveyMonkey?**

There are times when I wish I could create survey presentations that go beyond the standard options. Although there are many templates available, whenever I try to get too creative or think outside the box, I find that it actually slows me down.

**What problems is SurveyMonkey solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As someone responsible for managing 400 phone agents and a support team of 15, I rely on SurveyMonkey to gauge whether new scripting ideas are effective. It allows me to gather feedback directly from my agents, giving them an opportunity to share their thoughts if something isn’t working, so I can make necessary adjustments. When more than 25% of my agents express the same concerns about certain business decisions, I know it’s important to pay attention, since they are on the front lines. I also make use of the form builder to help my support staff keep me informed if any individual or process starts to deviate from our standards.

**What do you like best about SurveyMonkey?**

Survey monkey is one tool I use that doesnt judge me when i'm building a survey at 9PM because a VP suddenly had an urgent idea. It is reliable, fast and doesnt make me click through 17 menus just to ask people if they are happy. the analytics dashboard is also a lifesaver. it turns a mountain of responses into neat charts that makes me look way more put together in leadership meetings that i sometimes feel. No pivot tables, no tears, just clean insights.

**What do you dislike about SurveyMonkey?**

the dislikes are more like annoyances, nothing that makes me reconsider using it, just enough to roll my eyes in a friendly way.

**What problems is SurveyMonkey solving and how is that benefiting you?**

what problem solving i really appreciate about surveymonkey is how little effort it takes to go from " i need feedback" to actually having the data i can act on. The UI is great, the templates are solid and i dont need to coach my team members on how to use it,  they can build and launch surveys on their own. The reportings are just wow. i can skim the dashboards, spot trends quickly and pull insights without doing a lot manual cleanup.

I like the dashboard feature, I can easily find what I need.

**What do you dislike about SurveyMonkey?**

The biggest downside for me is that two of us use the account but we both have desktop and laptop computers.  They only allow you to have two computers accessing the account.  There is a limit to how often you can change your locations.

**What problems is SurveyMonkey solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Putting together training evaluations with ease and analyzing the feedback.  I can present the results with a few presses of the button.

SurveyMonkey is always my preferred choice for collecting data, sending out feedback forms and for general questionnaires. It is very easy to use and export data to analysis.

Sometimes when swapping themes I can't use some of the question layouts I'd like to use.

I appreciate how easy SurveyMonkey makes it to create surveys. The available templates are especially useful for getting started quickly. For my work, it's great to be able to collect feedback from many people in a short amount of time. I also find the reports with charts straightforward and easy to interpret.

The tools to visualize data are very intuitive too. From all our surveys, we're also able to use various reports, customize the graphs and present them to our executive team.

Their customer service was not very helpful. I only used it once so this might not be representative of everyone's experience, but I did not appreciate the way it's handled. As a client, you have to go through an AI chatbot before being able to exchange emails with actual people. 

It would also be great to have a way to put the same survey in different languages (users being able to choose their language within one survey) instead of making separate surveys in different languages. Being a global company, this feature would help us a lot.

More intuitive form creation than Google forms and micro soft forms. The various ways, additional Javascript can be added helps in refining the form aesthetics for our end consumers and clients. Customer support has always been helpful in any requirements, and we can easily train new Joinees in the team to use it for polling purposes.

1. Easy to make surveys with good documentation available as to how to different user inputs
2. Analytics dashboard is a great ramp up from any other providers. Responses can be seen in much intuitive way, nowhere else possible
