## About Superhuman Docs
Superhuman Docs (formerly Coda) gets your team and AI on the same page. Most AI tools are built for solo work, so the work ends up trapped in chats. Docs brings your team and AI together in a familiar space, reimagining what a doc can do. Drafts happen faster, projects stay on task, and decisions don’t stall. Ask for what you need and Docs helps your team build and run with it. Docs is part of Superhuman, the AI productivity platform on a mission to unlock the superhuman potential in everyone. AI is everywhere, but what it creates stays disconnected from where your team actually works. Superhuman Docs fixes that. Instead of generating alone and copy-pasting results somewhere else, your whole team works with AI in one shared place—asking, editing, and building on one another’s work without context switching or silos. And you can create docs, trackers, and workflows in plain language. Just say what you need and Docs AI builds it with you. No code. No writing formulas. No learning curve. Superhuman Docs supports real-time multi-user collaboration, rich content editing, AI generation, and text summarization, so your team can ask for a first draft, meeting notes, or a project tracker and build on it together, instantly. Docs features templates, task creation and assignment mapping, GANTT charts, revision history, in-line comments, notifications, and knowledge sharing—all in one shared doc. No switching between tools to generate, organize, and move work forward. And since Docs connects to over 1,000 tools, including Slack, Jira, and Salesforce, you’ll always have access to the latest data so due dates for your team’s OKRs are always current.

## Superhuman Docs Reviews
  ### 1. My experience with Coda.io

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Vadim C. | Administrator, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 29, 2022

**What do you like best about Superhuman Docs?**

Coda formulas are the most flexible I know. Buttons, actions, and Coda Packs are mindblowing.

**What do you dislike about Superhuman Docs?**

Coda is harder to adopt by new users, that's because they prefer to use Notion instead.

**What problems is Superhuman Docs solving and how is that benefiting you?**

In Coda, you can build a complex web app. Is true that it is limited in design but for company internal use is very good.

  ### 2. Coda is a flexible, intuitive and powerful enterprise solution

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 19, 2022

**What do you like best about Superhuman Docs?**

I like that Coda is a great mixture of app, spreadsheet, database and codable solution. I have built out a front-end which allows people to view data which looks slick and has functionality with different views and buttons dependent on the user with a back-end that allows me to protect the integrity of data and build automated workflows. I have integrated Coda with slack allowing for great workflow tooling. What's great is there is excellent out of the box functionality for things like conditional formatting but also the Coda formulas allow for more customised approach where required. Coda is quite intiutive and pretty easy to go from zero to hero relatively quickly. Finally, Coda is aesthetically pleasing which draws in leadership and front line colleagues in a similar fashion.

**What do you dislike about Superhuman Docs?**

While there is a lot of documentation on functionality and packs some of this is not quite correct (at the time of writing) which has lead to some time spent going down the rabbit hole to find the correct solution.,

**What problems is Superhuman Docs solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Enterprise solutions from data presentation to app building for my team. Coda has allowed me to build a solution which has seen both myself and other parts of the organisation use the cross-doc pack to leverage existing (and my) data to build very powerful solutions and reduce duplicative buids.

  ### 3. The best software to create smart documents.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nathan C. | Project Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 02, 2022

**What do you like best about Superhuman Docs?**

A relational database may be as easy to create as a list of names. This means you can obtain data fast and simply, link it, edit it, and display it in the format you want. Coda has proven to be a tremendous resource for our product and strategy teams in terms of keeping everything structured and centered. Coda combines the greatest collaborative documents, spreadsheets, and online databases, then amplifies them with third-party integrations. What we've been able to create with it and how it's been optimized for our internal procedures has saved us a lot of time, confusion, and decreased the amount of tools we use by consolidating functionality into a single application.

**What do you dislike about Superhuman Docs?**

There will be a learning curve. Because Coda is a new paradigm, you can expect to "unlearn" the usual constraints of older Siled apps like documents, tables, and project managers when you start with a blank page. The mobile app has a long way to go, but I am certain that the CODA team will transform it into a fantastic native app as soon as feasible. Spreadsheets have certain familiar capabilities, such as cell-based computations, that we occasionally overlook. In any event, I hope the product emphasizes that tables are not spreadsheets, which is a good thing. It's still cumbersome and slow to make, but it's a fantastic idea. Many individuals are unaware of the capabilities of producing a Coda document, and it is difficult to explain.

**What problems is Superhuman Docs solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Coda is used to create price sheets and calculators, as well as strategy papers, project execution tracking, and new initiative reporting. It has been a benefit for us to have our information structured and to be able to add additional sorts of structures to it. I was able to develop a comprehensive GTD project management system in Coda by connecting my email calendars and utilizing online and offline resources. We were able to save countless hours of manual data input and re-entry by leveraging automation, while also reducing the possibility of human mistake. We were able to assemble everything into a single CODA document that closes with a single investment letter by reducing the need to seek for information.

  ### 4. The best tool to organize the feedback of the product, adapts to all kinds of needs.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Edith R. | Sr. Project Manager, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 24, 2022

**What do you like best about Superhuman Docs?**

CODA strikes me as an ideal marriage of Airtable and Notion. I've used both programs, and when I first started using Coda, I was amazed by its capabilities as a hybrid collaborative calculating spreadsheet. I appreciate the ability to view data sets in a variety of ways, filter them using page controls, and so on. I appreciate that many of these perspectives are available to my team without the need for an account. And I enjoy the regularity with which they issue updates. When they added capabilities that I really wanted, I felt as if they had read my thoughts.

**What do you dislike about Superhuman Docs?**

It's a bit complicated at first, and some repetition is required to grasp how to utilize the formulae in the best method for what you're trying to do. I would also advocate having only a few guards because it is pretty easy to delete or destroy the effort. Because the visuals do not expand to fit greater data sets, they become meaningless. I'd want to see a bar graph with one hundred bars; Gantt graphs provide a rudimentary user interface.

**What problems is Superhuman Docs solving and how is that benefiting you?**

My team utilizes Coda to store and organize product comments; the flexibility to provide data in numerous formats is advantageous to my team; and my team frequently turns some of our important product feedback issues into a circular graphic depiction so that my team can view them. I frequently believe in new perspectives of remarks classified by distinct issues. Trello, Freedcamp We work on a variety of projects and never imagined that there would be a tool that would allow us to track all of them, view the progress in a graphical format, and emphasize the tasks on which we spend the majority of our time. We have a document for each project, and now we have a master document where everyone can see what is going on in all projects, equipment, knowledge base, and so on.

  ### 5. Simple and easy to use tool, it is versatile and has good collaboration options.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Adell B. | Program Manager, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 19, 2022

**What do you like best about Superhuman Docs?**

The Coda templates are as basic yet so relevant and useful, I feel that the greatest part of Coda is the simplicity and clean that is visible from the outside, but the amount of personalizations achievable with simply a simple table is too many. I like how you can customize each page with the precise style / tool I need, how they invest in new features on a regular basis, practically all of the time, and how they provide consistent and extensive support. To obtain the desired outcome, the support team led the setup of functionality with patience and was willing to repair errors and omissions in my name.

**What do you dislike about Superhuman Docs?**

I believe there is a learning curve there, particularly with the table / column / formulae and rules filters. But, I suppose, every platform has it, so you may enjoy it. What I believe you are now lacking is a record of modifications for a page or document. And if it exists, it is difficult to locate. They appear to be quite crucial when collaborating now, especially as we transition to a more hybrid work style. When I first started using Coda, it was tough to change other applications such as Excel. However, because of the client's conversation, the setup was pretty quick; I would also like to see a web admittance form someplace.

**Recommendations to others considering Superhuman Docs:**

A fantastic communication tool as well as a one-stop shop for all of your company's administrative and paperwork requirements. Customer support is simple to utilize and can assist with any problem. Attendance is a critical component of the instrument, in my opinion. Proof of free goods and its wide collection of models must be sufficient to assess your use case.

**What problems is Superhuman Docs solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We wanted a solution that could do everything from producing reports to tracking objectives to scheduling events. This is a simple tool that allows you to customize each page to your liking. Coda was utilized for a variety of tasks, including budgeting, event planning, and catalog creation. To begin with, the templates are as simple and relevant as possible, reducing the time you spend searching for the format of any document. Furthermore, the sheer quantity of alternatives / format features available makes it the sole stop for the majority of the team's demands.

  ### 6. Flexible Documentation with Powerful Formulas & Automations

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Gaby V. | User Experience Lead, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 15, 2022

**What do you like best about Superhuman Docs?**

Coda makes me feel like a genius. The tool is incredibly flexible without a huge barrier to entry. Anyone can sit down and start using a Coda doc. With just a little more effort, anyone can start building connected tables and do some really cool things.

With automations and linked tables, I made a template for usability testing that automatically graphs the metrics tracked on multiple pages in the doc. One of co-workers told me they were "crying tears of joy" when they learned how easy it was to use. Coda makes me better at my job.

**What do you dislike about Superhuman Docs?**

The mental model shift from tables to connected "views" of tables is one thing that I have to try to explain to each new person on my team who uses the tool. Once you get it, it's great, but it takes a minute to make the shift.

**What problems is Superhuman Docs solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We chose Coda primarily for our User Research Repository - we've built templates and automations to encourage robust, consistent documentation practices. However, as soon as Coda was available for our team to use, a ton of additional use cases have popped up. People love the organization structure, ease of use, and flexibility of the tool.

  ### 7. Coda has saved the Career Services department

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Cameron G. | Career Services & Internship Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 25, 2022

**What do you like best about Superhuman Docs?**

For the first time, dozens of documents from the last few years are able to be consolidated and shared with other faculty & students. The way are able to engage with the students has been revolutionized.

**What do you dislike about Superhuman Docs?**

The forms lack logic so we are still reliant on Formstack to create more complicated and nuanced forms. There are likely additional workarounds, but I haven't learned how yet.

**What problems is Superhuman Docs solving and how is that benefiting you?**

An easy-to-use and organized student-facing platform to share documents, internships, articles, job postings, and coaching sessions. We no longer need to spend hours designing newsletters or opportunity emails.

  ### 8. CODA allows me to manage projects for my team

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 18, 2022

**What do you like best about Superhuman Docs?**

I love that CODA is customizable and that I could creat a vision for what I wanted my doc to look like and I was able to use all of the tools to make it happen easily

**What do you dislike about Superhuman Docs?**

Because CODA is really powerful, sometimes it can be tough to figure out how to write a specific formula or make a button work and the help tools don't always solve the problem.

**What problems is Superhuman Docs solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It allows my team to manage our progress on projects and plan for upcoming work sprints and keep track of what we have completed. We also use coda for our annual planning exercise

  ### 9. PIM search

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Piet S. | Senior SAP Financial Solution Expert, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 03, 2021

**What do you like best about Superhuman Docs?**

How easy it is to create really powerful docs

**What do you dislike about Superhuman Docs?**

Formatting/layouts is still under development.

**What problems is Superhuman Docs solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I have put Coda to a variety of uses.
Everybody first does a type of GTD implmentation. Me too.
I use it as a personal Information manager, and it covers all areas - health, financial, social, family tree and to do list. Very little remains in spreadsheets, and if it does, the files are referenced from Coda. This means that everything is easy to find, from a single search menu. I no longer need to search through folders and folders to find spreadsheets.
For corporate use I have built a tool that allows for the collation of new requirements for software design. It includes a central repository for each requirement, and an action list, with various views: per person, per requirement, per team, per due date.

  ### 10. Keeps Getting Better

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Bernie K. | Commercial Director, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 11, 2022

**What do you like best about Superhuman Docs?**

I began using CODA to administer meetings online during COVID. The system is cloud-based and allows multiple users to work with the same document - at the same time. There is no saving of "versions"; every collaborator's change is incorporated seamlessly. Since then, our 20 Sales Personnel have graduated to running our entire Sales and Product Demand forecasts through CODA. We have around 1500 individual sales lines per month. Around 500 unique Customer / Item entries. Each Sales Person has their own individual view - which is part of the greater whole. Demand Planning and Supply Chain also have their own "view" for product replenishment, as does Finance for updating costs. We began by taking our 2020 Sales Information (18,000 Line Items) in Excel, and dumping it into CODA - and it just worked. We continue to find and add new solutions for what we need. Can't recommend it highly enough.

**What do you dislike about Superhuman Docs?**

Previously updating information in tables that are "Look-Up" tables for other more complex systems required a bit of time, but we've found a work-around solution. Any problems are dealt with by Customer Service, who are very responsive.

**Recommendations to others considering Superhuman Docs:**

Try it. If you use excel for data management, dump your data into CODA, spend a couple of hours seeing what is available, you'll be blown away.

**What problems is Superhuman Docs solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our data is now immediately available transparently to all collaborators. No versions, no documents locked for editing.

  ### 11. Great tool for encoding my team's rituals

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Connor M. | Ritual Architect, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 03, 2021

**What do you like best about Superhuman Docs?**

I use Coda to encode our team's goals as behaviors that take place in a doc.

Coda likes to call these "rituals," but they could be anything you or your team regularly do.

Compared to Notion, I have a much more flexible formula language at my disposal. Sometimes I make a team member's ritual into a series of written steps (the documentation approach), or other times it's a full-blown app that they control. In either case, Coda is the first tool I look to use.

**What do you dislike about Superhuman Docs?**

Unfortunately, Coda can't handle large amounts of data. If you have 10k+ rows in your doc or complicated formulas, then it can get slow to the point of being unusable. There are many workarounds, but that requires a lot more work and expertise, which some people can't handle. That said, it probably will only impact you if you are building something fairly complex or consequential, in which case it might be worth it.

**What problems is Superhuman Docs solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I've built many tools which teams use for:
1. sharing information between teams
2. tracking licenses to make sure they don't expire
3. keeping track of meeting notes every week
4. tracking inventory
5. paying salaries
6. tracking home expenses and income
7. formatting and transforming CSVs
8. time tracking for hourly pay customers
9. issue queues for open tasks
10. conversation templates to enable better decision making
11. sending surveys

It's a flexible tool

  ### 12. Starting to get the hang of Coda!

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Steph G. | Program Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 01, 2022

**What do you like best about Superhuman Docs?**

Easy to use and create tools for facilitation and quick data capture.

**What do you dislike about Superhuman Docs?**

It seems hard to connect complex data sets and visually show the relationships between different workstreams.

**What problems is Superhuman Docs solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is starting to help me solve the issue of correlating multiple sources of data to create dashboard views for executive review.

  ### 13. Some of the best customer service I have ever encountered

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 25, 2022

**What do you like best about Superhuman Docs?**

Their customer service is just amazing. Always quick and thorough, even when we were on a free account. They always check in on you to make sure they could solve your problems.

**What do you dislike about Superhuman Docs?**

There is a learning curve to some of the more complicated features.

**What problems is Superhuman Docs solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is helping us to collaborate as a team, as well as produce client facing resources.

  ### 14. Changed what was possible

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Christian M. | Sr Egineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 08, 2022

**What do you like best about Superhuman Docs?**

How easy it is to link databases, and how quick it is to connect multiple levels in a formula

**What do you dislike about Superhuman Docs?**

It can be hard sometimes to figure out what exactly is going on under the hood. The profiler is good but limited. The lack of comments in code is the biggest problem. Also the data input error checking could be a little more seamless

**Recommendations to others considering Superhuman Docs:**

If you need a forward-facing aspect to your data that is easy to create it is hard to beat cods

**What problems is Superhuman Docs solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We had a commercial mrp that didn't fit the intricacies of our business structure, and it wasn't easy to make it user-friendly enough for the people managing inventory actually to use. This caused us to lose a lot of time and money trying to make it work. Coda let me build a fully custom MRP system to manage everything from production planning, a full parent-child BOM, hundreds of vendors, and thousands of unique parts, in addition to full inventory management with order fulfillment. There were some growing pains in the process but you guys kept releasing crucial features so it all worked out. The biggest thing is being able to manage all the data while building friendly and well guided dashboards for each type of user

  ### 15. A highly flexible, adaptable environment for information processing & management

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dylan N. | Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 08, 2022

**What do you like best about Superhuman Docs?**

I LOVE how easy Coda makes it to combine various types of data: Freeform text, structured text (bullets, numbered times, etc, with Structured data in tables. We started 2 years ago using Coda for a few data management things, and it's gradually become THE HUB for most all our content creation, training planning, client management, and brainstorming activities. Nothing else I've found is quite so flexible and adapbtable.

**What do you dislike about Superhuman Docs?**

In the past, our docs have steadily grown in size & volume and they's gotten slower to load. Coda has taken great strides, this past year, in speeding them up, though they can still be slow, with larger tables. And I've found that Safari loads them WAY quicker than Chrome. Besides that - our team LOVES it! We tried for 6 months to use it to replace Asana / Task management as well but found Asana better for distributed team tracking tasks across multiple projects with different task views. We use Coda for almost everything else though now.

**What problems is Superhuman Docs solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have a complex data model, in our company, that really requires a dynamic relational database structure that cross references and filters different kinds of data fields in different ways, depending on the contextad instead of hiring a database engineer, we can just build & adapt it as we go with almost no tech skills.

  ### 16. Excellent Documentation Software

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Christine B. | Digital Products Specialist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 26, 2021

**What do you like best about Superhuman Docs?**

There are many features I love about Coda. Not only is it a very intuitive software to use, but I can also access it from anywhere. I love the integrations it includes, I love the format of the software itself, it's visually appealing and lovely to look at and use, and I am able to do many different things with it. I also love the tools and features it has; it makes creating documents much more enjoyable and practical for a wide range of many scenarios.

**What do you dislike about Superhuman Docs?**

What I am not the biggest fan of is the fact that the iPad version isn't as smooth and useful as the web browser version. When I am on my iPad, I just have to use the browser. In addition, the learning curve for learning some of the extra features is steep.

**Recommendations to others considering Superhuman Docs:**

My team and I are obsessed with Coda. If you are considering it, definitely go for it.

**What problems is Superhuman Docs solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have solved the issue of having one central location for all documentation for the products and projects we are working on. It is easy to create and easy to share with other people. It also helps that the formatting looks so much more engaging and makes reading documentation much easier and more enjoyable. We use Coda to present important documentation to our senior leadership at our company.

  ### 17. Coda rocked our world! Great way to formulate and keep track of our strategy work

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Pablo B. | Sr Director of Growth, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 23, 2021

**What do you like best about Superhuman Docs?**

Coda has been an amazing tool for our product and strategy teams to keep things organized and centralized. We ended the collection of spreadsheets that got lost in our inboxes and started to document more what we're doing.

**What do you dislike about Superhuman Docs?**

Some times we miss a couple of the things we're used to with spreadsheets, like cell based calculations. But it's about expectation the product is clear about the fact tables are not spreadsheet and that's ok. tables are powerful enough on its own

**Recommendations to others considering Superhuman Docs:**

Get intro the free trial, setup a couple of documents, bring it into your workflows and you'll get to love how much it helps you to keep things clean and organized. Once you get into the automation part, it will rock your world!

**What problems is Superhuman Docs solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use coda for things like pricing sheet and calculators, strategy documentation, project execution tracking, and briefs for new initiatives.

We have benefit from how organized our information is now and the different type of structures we can add to it.

Automation options like table calculations or integrations have also saved our time

  ### 18. Coda changed the way I managed my projects and collaborate

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Thomas P. | PhD student, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 08, 2022

**What do you like best about Superhuman Docs?**

Easiness to create a doc with plenty of integration (all Google apps, Github, and much more). It's very easy to collaborate and the latest release changed the way we built doc. We can now write note inside a cell, and basically write functions, create tables, show graphs, etc within a cell. It is literally amazing. Besides, that, Coda gives us the opportunity to write our own Pack in Javascript which means we can integrate the world into a single doc

The team replies very quickly and the community is getting bigger and bigger so we can find any answer we want.

**What do you dislike about Superhuman Docs?**

The graphs are not very advanced. It is basic graphs with very little possibility to customize it. Another thing I don't like is the lack of a search bar. There is one search bar on the top left of the doc but it is too small and yet super powerful. We can find every object using the search bar but they decided to hide it :/

**What problems is Superhuman Docs solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Coda helps me to centralize all the information I collect on the internet: emails, highlights, newsletters, Meetings, bookmarks and the health data from Apple Watch. I also use it to bring all those information into a centralize project management system which push the recommended information when I need it the most. All of this is done in Coda.

I also create doc to do company book keeping and also to collaborate on projects because it is super easy to use, and can seamlessly add notes, automate tasks etc

  ### 19. Very intuitive and multipurpose.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sudhamshu M. | Game Producer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 08, 2022

**What do you like best about Superhuman Docs?**

The ability to organise a lot of information and different formats of data in one place. And the fact that it is easy to format text in a way that makes all the pages look really good and the user interface is really smooth and easy to understand too.

**What do you dislike about Superhuman Docs?**

Not being able to use table fully like a google spreadsheet sometimes. It is sometimes difficult to work with the limited ways of using formulae in coda. Also, it is a bit difficult to index all the pages and search the page that we require easily when there are many pages to go through.

**What problems is Superhuman Docs solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Mainly we are documenting everything under the sun related to the game project we are working on.

We have been able to organise a lot of information in one place. And have been able to document videos, pictures, links too. It also helps to link coda to JIRA. Also, the table option and the ability to conditional format and filter helps us to prioritise things we want to focus on, plan our project, and highlight different parts of the data for different people through different pages showing different parts of the same table.

  ### 20. Wonderful platform for intelligent document creation with table and form data

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Anthony F. | Writer Freelance, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 30, 2022

**Reviewed Date:** June 16, 2022

**What do you like best about Superhuman Docs?**

With enough time and energy, Coda can be used for practically anything. Currently it is the backbone of my small business.

**What do you dislike about Superhuman Docs?**

Sometimes you can spin your wheels on complex solutions. Spreadsheets are still better for arbitrary tables for quick calculations.

**Recommendations to others considering Superhuman Docs:**

If you take the time to understand some basic database and programming concepts, you can do anything

**What problems is Superhuman Docs solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Coda makes lets you basically build entire applications on top of a data model defined by you. It's both the database layer and the application layer.

  ### 22. Coda is the best app ✨

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Melanie M. | Registered Nurse, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 08, 2022

**What do you like best about Superhuman Docs?**

The most helpful part is the ability to create tables within a row and format the way information is inputted in your database.
Coming from an excel background, Coda makes formulas so relaxing. They are colour coded, autofilled and I can name and reference information so easily. To me, they blow any other apps out of the water!

**What do you dislike about Superhuman Docs?**

Only thing I dislike is with the scale feature where you can put stars or blue circles, there is a limit on how many can be inputted. Other than that, I always come to coda to make the doc that I need and use it for business.

**Recommendations to others considering Superhuman Docs:**

I wish I would have found it sooner!

**What problems is Superhuman Docs solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I'm solving the problem of procrastination with Coda. I have become so much more productive using Coda. Passed my licensing exam because Coda enabled me to visualize my progress with the in-depth features.

The best feature is adaptability and the power that it offers. That fresh start with the tables as a whole and packs holding up make it far superior to some other existing stage. I love involving it for straightforward docs, yet you can likewise fabricate custom applications and reports for your group to give them superpowers.

**What do you dislike about Superhuman Docs?**

I think assuming I needed to pick a disadvantage. It would be the usefulness of the portable applications. I'm anticipating seeing those become better and work on over the long haul.

**What problems is Superhuman Docs solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I've constructed a great deal of things with Coda. I constructed a bug tracker to assist with watching issues clients are confronting and furthermore use it to control our nonconcurrent work since our group is worldwide. ### 49. Coda = Spreadsheets to Documents on steroids with automation

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Internet | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 12, 2021

**What do you like best about Superhuman Docs?**

Coda takes Google Sheets and Google Docs to the next level with full-on tables/databases/ views, the ability to filter them based on conditions, and support for formulas. More importantly, it allows you to build automation with integration. E.g., when a user clicks here, generate an email to notify the owner on slack. Or generate a weekly email showing the updates. The best part being this can all be done by non-technical users. For most users, using these documents is obvious on their very first try. Then with some experience (about an hour), they can gradually start getting more proficient at exploring the powers of Coda. Also has graphs/wordcloud to do analytics of your projects. It usually takes me 5 minutes to show to a complete beginner when I build a project for them, which would, as a programmer, take me at least a week to build using other tools. The number of possibilities with coda are deep, and every day I realize how little I know. I was hesitant and skeptic to try Coda out, and after first 30 minutes of using it, was a convert.

Other things I like:
(1) For paying users, there's a help chat button where a person can respond to your questions. If I can't find a solution, I reach out there and have both gotten answers, as well as filed feature requests. I am happy to say that a few issues I reported were solved and shipped in the main product.
(2) Frequent product updates - they have made several performance improvements over the last 4 months.
(3) The community and knowledge base - When I have a question, I just search on https://community.coda.io/ and someone usually has an answer.
(4) When you make something unique, can you share it back with the community as a template.

**What do you dislike about Superhuman Docs?**

(1) For long tables, you cannot do Ctrl+F in the browser to search (this is normal user behavior). You can solve this with an interactive filter to allow keyword search - which is cool, but when you keyword search, everyone on the document can see what you were searching, and it filters their view too. I am sure changing this behavior is on their roadmap.
(2) If you start scrolling long tables fast, it will take some time before the rows render on screen.

**Recommendations to others considering Superhuman Docs:**

(1) I recommend beginners to watch one of the youtube tutorials to get up to speed quickly. If you know what is possible, you will spring into action more quickly.
(2) Use the helpful 'help' button to ask questions that you haven't been able to get an answer to. Remember, help is available.

**What problems is Superhuman Docs solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Building a company wide site for employees to drop idea and then take these through the product planning cycles, informing everyone who supported these ideas along the way.

  ### 50. Great range of features and the team keeps adding more functions

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Management Consulting | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 10, 2022

**What do you like best about Superhuman Docs?**

Really good support - coding can be a bit complex and it's not something I've done much of. Coda is the only service I've used where you can ask for personal help and receive it in the document. This has helped me use a lot of its complex features.

It's converted me to databases over spreadsheets for working and I've built some complex tools quickly which has saved me a lot of time. Not just because I have one-click tools that can convert my data but because it has version control and I can create different views.

I can get my data in a 'play only' feature to share with others and a client-friendly view of data or anonymised data all from the same datasets.

I've also worked with teams on long written documents and it is great that it acts like a binder with different text files rather than having to open multiple docs.

**What do you dislike about Superhuman Docs?**

It can be a bit of a learning curve but the team has helped and made things simpler since I signed up 2 years ago. There is a lot of official and community support to help with this. I've also been trying to get them to adopt ISO/non-US date formats for a while as that's been causing a problem with data imports.

**What problems is Superhuman Docs solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Multiple:

- project management and planning
- user research activities (card sorting, ranking)
- writing collaboration projects
- interviews
- data cleaning and analysis
- finance forecasting and business planning
- pitch documents
- presentations

A lot!
