## Summize Reviews
 ### 1. Effortless Setup and Intuitive Usability

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Danielle A. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 22, 2026

**What do you like best about Summize?**

I am very thankful for the help from James Blake who has been fantastic, very patient, understanding, and diligent. The experience with Summize has been fabulous, and our team has commended us for being light years ahead of where we were. It is an easy tool to use, even for those who are not tech-savvy, with everything at our fingertips and AI integration. The ease of use is what I like most about Summize. It's very intuitive, considering the end user and the in-house group when they built the tool. Because it's so easy to use, I don't have to worry about gaining buy-in from the business, as everyone loves using it and it makes life easier for everyone. Our tech team loved the product too, found it very easy to integrate without issues. Summize is integrated with Gmail and DocuSign, which has been very helpful for streamlining processes.

**What do you dislike about Summize?**

I think over time, the functionality will become a little better. At times, I found that the system can be a little slow to respond, or maybe there's a feature that temporarily is not working the way that it should, but it always bounces back.

**What problems is Summize solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Summize streamlines our contract process, offering easy collaboration and an intuitive central repository. Its ease of use ensures team adoption, and integrations with Gmail and DocuSign simplify workflows significantly.

 ### 2. Easy to Use and Seamlessly Integrated into Our Legal Operations

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kathryn R. | Head of Legal & Corporate Strategy, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 14, 2026

**What do you like best about Summize?**

Summize is very easy to use. Our users have needed little to no training, and the request process has integrated seamlessly into our day-to-day legal operations. Overall, it fits naturally into our workflow and makes handling requests straightforward. Implementation was also fast.

**What do you dislike about Summize?**

This isn’t exactly a dislike, more an eyes-wide-open observation. The Summize product is still maturing, and there are a some minor QOL features I’d like to see added. The biggest one is the ability to set default request names and file names, instead of relying on users to enter free text. As it stands, that approach can result in non-descript naming conventions based on user input.

**What problems is Summize solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Summize is helping us address three core challenges: (1) contract visibility, (2) operational efficiency, and (3) scalability.

Before Summize, our contract management was largely manual, relying on Google Drive folders and spreadsheets to track key terms. As a result, it was time-consuming to find agreements, monitor obligations, and keep processes consistent. Summize has provided a centralised Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) system and a true single source of truth for all contracts.

It also makes it easy to surface key commercial and legal data points (e.g., term, renewal, liability, etc.) without needing a manual review each time. This has improved how quickly we can respond to internal and external questions, support audits and diligence, and get a clearer view of risk and exposure across our overall contract landscape.

The automated request workflow has streamlined the way contracts are initiated, reviewed, and approved. Stakeholders can submit requests through structured forms, which cuts down on back-and-forth, improves data quality at intake, and ensures the legal team is brought in at the right time with the right information.

Overall, Summize has moved us from a reactive, manual process to a scalable, data-driven CLM model. It saves time, reduces risk, improves business visibility, and enables the legal function to operate more strategically as the company scales.

 ### 3. AI-Powered Efficiency

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 19, 2026

**What do you like best about Summize?**

One of the best aspects of Summize is its AI-assisted capabilities for analyzing contracts and proactively flagging risks, even in executed agreements. This adds a lot of value beyond just contract storage. Also, the integration with DocuSign is seamless, and the fact that all executed agreements are automatically stored in the repository saves significant time and reduces manual work.

**What do you dislike about Summize?**

The distinctions between requestor and collaborator access were not clearly explained during the sales process, and it only became apparent later that only collaborators have full visibility over all requests. In a fast-paced environment like ours, having broad visibility is critical for efficient coordination, so this limitation was quite disappointing. This is something that should have been more clearly communicated upfront.

**What problems is Summize solving and how is that benefiting you?**

1) The AI’s ability to make a first pass on MSAs received from clients significantly reduces the time spent on initial reviews, which previously took hours.
2) All signed contracts are automatically stored in a centralized repository, eliminating manual filing and reducing the risk of lost documents.
3) The ability to analyze historical contracts at scale (without having to manually search and review them one by one) has greatly improved our ability to extract insights and manage risk more proactively.

**Official Response from Bailey Gifford:**

> Thank you for taking the time to share such your feedback, we really appreciate it. It’s great to hear that you’re seeing value from Summize’s AI capabilities and our Docusign integration and contract storage are helping to streamline your workflows and reduce manual effort.

We also really appreciate your constructive feedback on user roles and visibility. This is something we’re actively working to improve, both in how we communicate it during the sales and onboarding process and in how we continue to evolve role-based access within the platform.

Feedback like yours is incredibly valuable in helping us refine both the product and the overall customer experience. If you’re open to it, we’d love to connect and better understand your workflow so we can ensure you’re set up in the best way possible. Please feel free to reach out to our team (hello@summize.com) or your Customer Success Manager anytime.

Thanks again for your feedback and for being part of the Summize community.

 ### 4. A Streamlined Approach to In-House Contract Drafting and Review

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Sports | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 19, 2026

**What do you like best about Summize?**

There are many features I enjoy about Summize, and I believe they will be beneficial for an in-house legal team like ours by helping us take advantage of the platform and improve our internal workflow. From first learning about Summize at a conference years ago to working with Lauren to get our account up and running, the team has been incredibly easy to work with and has provided tailored support to address our organization’s needs. Additionally, while Summize creates a certain number of templates for you, I’ve found it straightforward to learn how to build templates within the account and set up the different permissions and tasks. We are still in the early stages of rolling Summize out to our internal teams, but I anticipate regular use of the system and expect it to continue being received positively.

**What do you dislike about Summize?**

It’s not so much that I dislike anything; it’s more that I recognize Summize is still growing as a company and as a resource for legal teams. There are a few features that would make the platform easier to use, and Summize is still working on developing them. That said, every time I asked a question about a feature, Lauren either already knew it existed and showed me how to implement it, or she took my suggestion back to her internal team and submitted an engineering request so they could start building the feature.

**What problems is Summize solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Summize will help streamline the internal contract drafting and review processes and provide an easy access repository for the necessary parties to have access to the documents they need. Additionally, the transparency Summize provides through status updates for requests is helpful for the internal business team to get live updates on where their request stands.

 ### 5. Revolutionized Contract Review with Seamless Microsoft Integration

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nelleke J. | Legal Counsel, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 19, 2025

**What do you like best about Summize?**

Summize has significantly improved the efficiency of our contract review and creation processes. It is an impressive tool, offering practical workflows that are immediately accessible to both Legal and business teams. As we transition toward broader adoption, we have already noticed that Summize enables us to work more quickly while ensuring we remain compliant with our legal requirements.

The integration with Microsoft is excellent, particularly the add-ins, which allow both our team and the business to continue working within our usual system without the need to log in to a separate platform.

We expect to be able to help our company's customers even better and quicker, now that we can use the system in a much broader way thanks to Ask SIA (Summize Intelligence Agents)

**What do you dislike about Summize?**

I'm not certain, but it seems there isn't a mobile app available yet for checking statuses. Summize is progressing quickly, and the roadmap consistently addresses awesome new features that will have help us further. Especially the AI feature, Ask SIA is improving rapidly and already a great benefit.

**What problems is Summize solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Summize saves time by enabling standard contracts to be generated directly without Legal involvement each time. Requests are submitted through one central channel, which creates oversight and consistency. As a result, turnaround times will become shorter, standardization improves, and Legal effort is focused where it adds real value. More complex cases, and not the standard requests that are repetitive.

 ### 6. Summize makes contract reviews significantly faster and more efficient

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Renewables & Environment | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 02, 2026

**What do you like best about Summize?**

The Legal Front Doors have already significantly streamlined our process. Additionally, Summize makes reviewing contracts many times faster – and overall noticeably more efficient. What really stood out for us was the customer support and the assistance during the transition to Summize. Our weekly meetings with our Implementation Manager Alex were very helpful: He really put in the effort to solve every problem – and in the end, it always worked out.

**What do you dislike about Summize?**

Since we have been using Summize, everything has become simpler and better so far.

**What problems is Summize solving and how is that benefiting you?**

A major problem for us was that often multiple versions were in circulation simultaneously, or employees did not know where to find the relevant information. With Summize, this is now resolved, as everything comes from a "Single Source of Truth." For us as a legal team, this means significantly less administrative work: Through the workflows, we can standardize and streamline standard processes, so we no longer have to be involved every time for standard matters.

 ### 7. Effortless Task Management, But Needs Better Mobile Customization

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rachel G. | Contracts Administrator, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 21, 2025

**What do you like best about Summize?**

This app has truly simplified my work life, tasks are well organized and prioritized, routing happens automatically, and reviewing standard clauses is straightforward and efficient. The app itself is also very user-friendly. Tom H and Kallan have been an absolute dream team to work with; they are extremely responsive, and Kallan has consistently stayed on top of everything related to implementation. While there have certainly been some hiccups and roadblocks along the way, the positive attitude and excellent customer support from both of them have made me a loyal fan!

**What do you dislike about Summize?**

The app could really benefit from more customization options, such as the ability to adjust status settings and features like "Ask Contracts." Additionally, having a mobile version is important to me, as I need to be able to handle simple approvals and workflows from my phone. Right now, using the app on a mobile device is challenging due to limited visibility.

**What problems is Summize solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The platform offers strong organization and traceability, which helps improve productivity. It also supports the standardization of clauses and identification of red flags.

 ### 8. User-Friendly Platform That Streamlines Workflows and Reporting

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospital & Health Care | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 05, 2026

**What do you like best about Summize?**

Summize is very user-friendly, on both the requester and admin sides. Summize has streamlined both are pre and post signature workflows by creating a single source of truth for our requests and repository. The Reporting capabilities are also a game changer for us!

Implementation was simple, and Lauren + team have been great to work with!

**What do you dislike about Summize?**

Summize seems to be a little bit "buggy" at times. Additionally, there are big differences in the create workflows vs the review workflows, specifically when it comes to uploading new versions. Our processes would be smoother if these request workflows operated more similarly.

Customer Support has also been slow at times.

**What problems is Summize solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Summize not only creates a single source of truth for us, but allows all of our users to access historic contracts that are relevant to their team. Visibility and overall efficiency have been greatly improved with Summize.

 ### 9. High Tech meets Personalized Support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Marie W. | Contracts Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 18, 2025

**What do you like best about Summize?**

Summize has always said their approach was to build a product that fits into your existing tech stack (ie works the way you do) and this is accurate! As a legal ops manager, I've got all of the tools I need on the backend (workflow dev, AI playbooks, repository/insights) but I'm able to offer the business a way in via Slack/Gmail/Salesforce that is light touch, super easy to learn and doesn't "feel" like a heavy change. A lot of CLMs promise adoption success but when it comes time to launch, it is a huge struggle internally to get our teams to move into a new web platform/use a new product. Since launching Summize I see users hop in daily, self-service and rarely (if at all) run into any issues. The interface is easy to figure out and we've had only positive feedback. Summize has also taken the lead on implementation in a way that has allowed us to keep moving without having any burden/lift required for our IT or Salesforce teams (which is huge). We have dedicated support (thank you James!) who has been more than patient with us during the process, has responded quickly to concerns and has worked with us to manage customized requests.

**What do you dislike about Summize?**

Not issues per say but we have hopes that the Slack integration becomes more advanced and offers a clearer line of site (which AskSIA is helping to improve). We also would love more automation on the back end such as automated naming conventions and a full DocuSign integration (so we can tweak envelopes in the tool v. hopping over).

**What problems is Summize solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are using Summize for sales, partner, recruiting and vendor agreements, to automate generation, signatures and store/analyze signed copies. It is helping legal reduce our SLAs, free up bandwidth, standardize templates/terms and create a better audit trail, as well as provide legal with data to support audits and show our impact.

 ### 10. Efficient CLM Tool with Stellar Support

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Francisca B.

**Reviewed Date:** December 02, 2025

**What do you like best about Summize?**

I like the ability of Summize to empower us to do most of the work ourselves, which streamlines the process and allows for quick edits. It is incredibly helpful in distributing work fairly among the team. I also find its capability to assist the team in checking template redlines rapidly quite invaluable, as it facilitates swift turnaround times on reviews. Furthermore, I benefit from the feature that allows for easy updating of templates, which enhances efficiency. The support from the sales team and the implementation manager was excellent, providing our company with all the necessary assistance, which made a significant difference in our onboarding experience. This support was crucial, especially considering how challenging contract lifecycle management (CLM) systems can be to integrate. Overall, the Summize product and team offer an ease of use despite the time-consuming initial setup, thanks to the patient and supportive implementation manager.

**What do you dislike about Summize?**

I find that workflows in Summize could be improved. Having them added as tasks makes it a bit tedious.

**What problems is Summize solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Summize for request tracking, document creation, and version control. It improves our workload distribution, enables quick document editing and redline reviews, and facilitates fast turnarounds on NDAs with summary features.

 ### 11. Intuitive, All-in-One Contract Management with Smart Review

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Daniel C. | Senior Legal Expert, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 03, 2026

**What do you like best about Summize?**

I like how intuitive it is, bringing everything together in one central place for contract management, including smart review.

**What do you dislike about Summize?**

There’s a steep learning curve at the beginning, but that’s true of most tools of this kind.

**What problems is Summize solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Summize has helped us cut down the number of tools we rely on to manage and review contracts. We started with seven, and now we’re down to just two.

 ### 12. Highly Customizable Contracting with Outstanding Support

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 24, 2025

**What do you like best about Summize?**

Summize has proven to be highly customizable with various types of contracting setups. We evaluated several vendors and Summize was the most impressive as far as highly-customized workflows and contracting. We were blown away by Kate (Legal Engineer) who was incredibly helpful in not only creating templates for our implementation, but also taking extensive time and energy to ensure that we felt equipped to make future changes on our own. The repository function is very comprehensive and allows for easy reporting on various contract provisions/terms. The Summize team (Alex, Implementation Manager) has been very responsive on helping to ensure that our tenant is customized to our specific needs--it does not feel like an off the shelf product but rather one that is tailored to a client's specific use case. We have seen quick adoption of the tool which speaks to its ease of use. We were very happy with the implementation process and various integrations with other tools we use on a daily basis.

**What do you dislike about Summize?**

There are a few feature requests/improvements we have suggested that seem like they should be easy fixes that have not been implemented. Nothing that is a dealbreaker, more little annoyances. One of my bigger complaints is that we can't add multiple Requestors to the same workflow--this would be very helpful in the case of adding a manager to an existing Review workflow, adding a different Requestor if the original Requestor is on leave or otherwise taking over a project/contract redlines, etc.

**What problems is Summize solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Summize has helped serve as a central spot for Legal inquiries: contract generation, legal contract/redline reviews, and a central repository for contracts.

 ### 13. Easy onboarding, streamlined implementation, and seamless integrations with existing tech!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Travis F. | VP, Legal & Compliance, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 12, 2025

**What do you like best about Summize?**

Summize works primarily behind the scenes, so we didn't have to layer on new tech for our sales team. We seamlessly integrated with Hubspot, Google, DocuSign, and Slack to ensure we could implement Summize without making material changes to our existing sales processes. The Hubspot integration that enables users to create contracts from Hubspot without having to log in to new software or even change Chrome tabs has made this a tool that we can effectively use and implement. The implementation and support teams have been patient, attentive, and top notch!

**What do you dislike about Summize?**

Implementing the repository feature for existing contracts was a bit clunky, but that was primarily due to a lack of naming conventions. Regardless of the naming issues, the repository still provides more data about legacy contracts than we've achieved with any other tool.

**What problems is Summize solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Summize is solving two primarily problems, both of which are critically important for future acquisitions and exit due diligence. First, Summize offers a CLM tool that makes it easy to ensure Sales teams are properly navigating the contracting process and complying with processes and approvals. Second, Summize offers a contract repository that makes it very easy to identify types of contracts, search for specific terms, and identify unusual and non-standard terms.

 ### 14. Incredible solution for any company with contracts

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Laura S. | Legal Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 05, 2025

**What do you like best about Summize?**

As Legal Manager, finding a contract lifecycle management (CLM) solution that truly met our needs was essential—and Summize has delivered on every front.

The platform is incredibly user-friendly, making it easy for our team to adopt and use effectively. It has significantly simplified our contract management processes, helping us stay on top of key details and deadlines with confidence. We no longer worry about missing critical information or dates thanks to the platform’s smart tracking and intuitive design.

Summize was exactly what we needed to replace our outdated SharePoint system. It’s modern, efficient, and tailored to the way legal teams work today.

A special mention goes to our implementation manager, Mariana, who made the transition seamless. We genuinely looked forward to and enjoyed our weekly meetings with her to get the software tailored to our company's needs, learn more about the features, and prepare for the rollout. Her guidance, responsiveness, and deep understanding of our needs ensured a smooth rollout and quick adoption across the team.

Summize has truly transformed how we manage contracts—streamlined, reliable, and built for the future.

**What do you dislike about Summize?**

One feature I’d love to see is more customization options within the user interface. For example, the ability to switch to dark mode or adjust the color scheme to match our company branding would go a long way in making the platform feel more familiar and integrated for our stakeholders. These kinds of visual customizations can help improve user engagement and make the tool feel more like an extension of our internal systems.

I would also like the ability to create task templates to simplify assigning common tasks and custom status labels (beyond custom fields) to better fit our internal processes.

Overall, these are relatively minor suggestions compared to the value Summize brings and many of the feature ideas we mentioned during our implementation meetings were already in development.

**What problems is Summize solving and how is that benefiting you?**

In the negotiation phase, Summize helps us prepare, review, redline, and execute contracts.
In the management phase, Summize helps us understand terms, identify and remind us of requirements, connect related agreements together (MSAs to SOWs to Change Orders, etc.), and discuss specific contracts with internal stakeholders with ease.

 ### 15. Intuitive, Easy-to-Navigate Platform with Seamless Microsoft Office Integration

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Automotive | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 22, 2026

**What do you like best about Summize?**

I like its integration with Microsoft Office, as well as the platform’s overall look and feel. It also comes across as intuitive and easy to navigate. The customer attention is very good, not only from the sales department but also from the implementation team that is always available.

**What do you dislike about Summize?**

The Clause Manager tool sometimes fails to extract the correct information from a contract, particularly when it’s dealing with contracts it wasn’t set up for. As a result, I still have to do manual checks and make corrections to ensure everything is accurate.

**What problems is Summize solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It keeps business owners informed about important dates, such as expiry dates, and lets them find contracts smoothly. Basic contract information, like fees or duration, is also easy for the business owner to view at a glance. Overall, it’s very time-effective for both business owners and the Legal team.

 ### 16. Positive overall experience, happy we decided on Summize as our CLM system!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 29, 2025

**What do you like best about Summize?**

This is by far the most intuitive and user-friendly system I have ever encountered. The integration of AI greatly minimizes the amount of manual work required. Additionally, the platform streamlines contracting requests and related processes, making them much simpler and more efficient. Users can easily submit requests and perform other actions either through the web application or directly within Outlook, without needing to leave their inboxes. The support we have received, particularly from our implementation lead, has been exceptional.

**What do you dislike about Summize?**

There are some things within Summize that ideally would be more customizable than they are currently.

**What problems is Summize solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Summize has addressed several key challenges in our contract lifecycle management process, delivering immediate and noticeable benefits. By centralizing all contract-related activities within a single, user-friendly platform, it has eliminated the need to search through multiple systems or locations. This consolidation has led to a marked improvement in our overall efficiency.

A particularly valuable aspect is the self-service functionality available to our internal teams. Users are now able to quickly find executed contracts and generate new ones using pre-approved templates, all without requiring direct involvement from the Legal department. This not only accelerates turnaround times but also enables our users to operate more independently, while still ensuring compliance and consistency.

Overall, Summize has streamlined our workflows, increased visibility, and allowed us to scale our contract processes with greater confidence.

 ### 17. Easy to Use, Straightforward Integration, and Well Implemented

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 23, 2026

**What do you like best about Summize?**

Easy to use and straightforward to integrate. Overall, it feels well implemented.

**What do you dislike about Summize?**

The limitation on licensed users could become an issue and relying on web-based editing can sometimes be complicated.

**What problems is Summize solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Improves efficiency in contract review and reduces repetitive work. It streamlines the way instructions are provided to Legal by ensuring there is a single point of contact for those instructions. It also provides a helpful repository that, over time, will help the business become more organised and more efficient when it comes to locating and managing contracts.

 ### 18. Intuitive, Feature-Rich, and Backed by Excellent Support

It is very intuitive to use, has really slick features, the integrations make change management easier and has excellent AI features. Not to mention there are great support/training resources available

**What do you dislike about Summize?**

The only downsides are that is can take some time to get up to speed with some of the training on creating create and review templates -but once you've got the hang of it, it all makes sense!

**What problems is Summize solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Assisting us with being the one source of truth for contracts and allowing the business to self-serve with templates (and eventually using the AI redlining tool)

 ### 19. User-Friendly Platform

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Leah R. | Sr. Paralegal and Legal Operations Manager, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 20, 2025

**What do you like best about Summize?**

Ease of use and ability to self-administer the platform. The learning curve has been very easy.

**What do you dislike about Summize?**

Some of the reporting functions are not as robust or flexible as our organization would like, but the support team has done a great job of helping us create the outcomes we need.

**What problems is Summize solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Providing centralized repository, better workflows and enhanced collaboration across enterprise services and business units.

 ### 20. A Game-Changer in Contract Management

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Isabelle M. | General Counsel, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 27, 2025

**What do you like best about Summize?**

We’ve been using Summize as our CLM solution, and the experience has been exceptional from the start. One of the standout aspects is the quick and seamless onboarding process; within days, our team was up and running with minimal disruption. This is a huge advantage for any organization looking to streamline contract management without a steep learning curve.

The one-on-one support provided by the Summize team has been phenomenal. Every question was met with prompt, knowledgeable assistance, making it feel like a true partnership rather than just another software vendor relationship.

A highlight of the platform is its AI review feature: it's accurate, intuitive, and saves us countless hours during contract analysis. It’s like having an extra pair of expert legal eyes on every document, which has significantly increased both speed and confidence in our review processes.

Perhaps most importantly, Summize offers outstanding value for the price. It delivers robust functionality and intelligent automation at a cost that makes sense, especially when compared to more complex, less user-friendly alternatives.

Overall, Summize has quickly become an indispensable tool for our legal and operations teams. Highly recommended for any business seeking to modernize and simplify their contract lifecycle management.

**What do you dislike about Summize?**

Repository Upload – Room for Improvement

While Summize has many strong features, the repository upload process needs refinement. When I tried to upload all our documents (over 1 million), the system didn’t automatically filter out non-contracts, duplicates, or outdated files. Unfortunately, this meant I had to manually sort through the entire set, which was time-consuming and could have been streamlined with smarter document filtering or classification tools. Adding this capability would significantly enhance the platform’s efficiency during large-scale uploads.

**What problems is Summize solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As a legal department of one, efficiency is everything and Summize has been a game-changer. Its intuitive interface, powerful AI review tools, and smart automation features have dramatically reduced the time I spend on contract review and management. What used to take hours now takes minutes, allowing me to focus on higher-value work. It’s like having an extra set of hands—reliable, fast, and always available.

 ### 21. Next Level CLM - and Much More

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lee D. | Contracts Administrator, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 05, 2025

**What do you like best about Summize?**

Summize is a cutting-edge CLM solution that has ticked every box—and then some—delivering everything we were looking for in a contract management platform. We needed a solution for our outdated and disorganized system, and Summize has significantly simplified our contract management process, allowing us to maximize our small team's efficiency and effectiveness.

As someone new to the legal field and contract administration, I found Summize user-friendly and the perfect tool to enhance my understanding during the contract review and revision process. The easy-to-use Create, Request, and Review functions have been quickly adopted by our internal sales customers, and the Repository has made managing deadlines easier than ever for our renewals team.

I was particularly impressed during the implementation phase. Our implementation manager, Mariana, has been attentive, knowledgeable, and adaptable every step of the way. Her expert guidance made implementing and integrating Summize into our existing business tools as seamless as possible. She worked diligently to tailor the software to our specific needs and even helped us accelerate our rollout so that we could demo Summize during a major intercompany event.

I would recommend Summize to any legal team looking to level up their CLM.

**What do you dislike about Summize?**

I wish there was another "level" between license types, or that the lowest-level Requestor license had a little bit more access to Summize features. There is a big jump from what a Requestor license is able to use compared to the next level, Collaborator, and it has been a bit restrictive.

**What problems is Summize solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We did not have a fully functional contract lifecycle management system before Summize. Summize has allowed us to organize our contracts, create an integrated workflow for requests and approvals, build tools like a calendar alert system, improve redlining efficiency, and manage contracts efficiently.

 ### 22. A CLM that understands business

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Demetre K. | General Counsel, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 21, 2025

**What do you like best about Summize?**

Seamless integration with Customer Relationship Manager tool and email. The "decentralized" nature of Summize where it plugs into existing systems my company uses greatly facilitated adoption. The implementation team, led by James Blake, was methodical, well organized, and attentive to my company's CLM needs. They were a valuable thought partner in making sure we rolled out a new contract process that worked for us. Finally, the AI features that Summize offers are head and shoulders above what we saw from other vendors. We use the clause summary feature extract insights and analytics from our contracts, leveraging contract information to empower our sales and marketing teams and giving our executive leadership a holistic lens on our contractual obligations.

**What do you dislike about Summize?**

It would be helpful if Summize could offer some more customization for the contract request process. Currently, all users who request contracts see the same drop down menu when requesting a contract template. But in our company, not all roles deal with the same contract types. Breaking out the request workflow by role type in a more customized fashion would help simplify the end user experience.

**What problems is Summize solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before implementing Summize, our contract management process was a black box for colleagues making requests. Also, once we finished a contract, we would file it away and rarely, if ever, review them. We got Summize in order to give our users visibility into the contract process and to make contract requests a frictionless experience. We also selected Summize to give us visibility into our contracts and extract key information that can inform strategic business decisions.

 ### 23. Excellent Implementation Experience

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kate C. | General Counsel, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 30, 2025

**What do you like best about Summize?**

I love that:
- Summize connects to other systems so that users stay in the system they are used to (salesforce, outlook etc).

- I love the Summize approach to implementation, they could not have been more helpful.

- I love that I can edit documents in word whilst still using Summize.

**What do you dislike about Summize?**

- Some of the Summize intake questionnaire functionality could be a little more sophisticated.

**What problems is Summize solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Summize repository helps me to access key data from my entire suite of contracts so that I can easily spot trends, extract anomalies which also helps my risk management.

Summize helps us to streamline our contracting process, so that the sales team can take more ownership of the contracts.

Summize helps us with compliance and risk mangement, ensuring all contracts get the right approvals.

 ### 24. Intuitive, Feature-Rich, and Seamlessly Integrated with Outlook

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Furniture | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 18, 2025

**What do you like best about Summize?**

The software is very intuitive to use and offers many helpful features. Its integration with Outlook means I don't have to switch between different apps, which is convenient. I also appreciate that it is constantly updated and includes AI capabilities.

**What do you dislike about Summize?**

Certain features are standard and cannot be customised.

**What problems is Summize solving and how is that benefiting you?**

This tool is useful for contract management and handling legal requests.

 ### 25. So far so good

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Sports | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 02, 2025

**What do you like best about Summize?**

Ease of use of product, high adoption rate due to how seamless it works with other products like Outlook, Teams, Word, and DocuSign. Overcame the hurdles we experienced with our last contract management software so far. Great conditional logic feature.

Their team has been pretty responsive as well. Alex and the onboarding team have helped us understand all the features, are leading a structured and tested rollout plan, and give thorough responses or find out the answers if he doesn't have them. We experienced a few hiccups as Summize imported our templates, but the legal engineering team, and particularly Kate R., have worked hard to ensure we overcame them. She is quite knowledgeable about the many features and options and worked to understand our specific use case and suggested the best fit for our templates. When problems arose, she and the team went to work to figure out why it was happening and fix the problem. You can tell she's quite passionate about her work, and she's pleasant to interact with.

Full disclosure - we are still in the onboarding phase and have not fully adopted and implemented everything yet, but hope to do so this month. So far our experience has been great though.

**What do you dislike about Summize?**

We're very new to the platform, so there may eventually be more, but the limits to their folder structure/permission sets are a bit disappointing. We are only able to have two levels of folders, so we've had to restructure a bit internally to make this work for us. Especially because the folder structure determines the permissions.

One of the only features we wish Summize had that our prior CMS had is the automatic/standard naming convention for contracts, e.g., all contacts are listed by [Contract Type] | [Contract Date] | [Parties]. Obviously not a dealbreaker but would be nice to have.

**What problems is Summize solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Summize has streamlined our contract management by creating efficiency, and empowering our users to create their own contracts using pre-approved templates. It minimizes compliance risk because everything is in a centralized location with sufficient security and reduces risk that someone will send a contract using an old version of a template.

 ### 26. AI-Powered Contract Reviews and Seamless Integrations

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Sports | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 22, 2025

**What do you like best about Summize?**

1. AI-review and redline capabilities
2. Integration with every day tools (Outlook, Word)
3. Streamlined review process for contracts
4. Centralized repository

**What do you dislike about Summize?**

1. Repository limitations (only one folder - subfolder)
2. Workflow challenges with current business
3. AI limitations (review of some pdfs, complex terms)

**What problems is Summize solving and how is that benefiting you?**

AI limitations above.

 ### 27. Had a great implementation experience! Alex was super patient, resourceful and understanding!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Food & Beverages | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 29, 2025

**What do you like best about Summize?**

We are still in the process of rolling the CLM out and there is still much to learn, but already we are seeing such a great transition to centralizing critical documents to providing the business more insight into actual approval processes.

**What do you dislike about Summize?**

Not much to critique - just maybe some suggestions for future: 1. "urgent" flag or button in review request as well as ability to filter for current agreements only without having to export to Excel.

**What problems is Summize solving and how is that benefiting you?**

central repository as well as having a more structured legal review process.

 ### 28. Friendly, Reliable, and Supportive Implementation Process!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Legal Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 22, 2025

**What do you like best about Summize?**

I appreciate how user friendly the platform is. The purpose of the platform is important to service our needs, but the platform must be easy to use with as little friction as possible to ensure client buy-in and adoption. Summize is that! Just during the pilot, we heard great feedback and client's have used the platform without hardship.

**What do you dislike about Summize?**

The user license benefits may not be suited well for how in-house legal teams work with their clients. In order for full adoption, the platform must be self serving through the entire CLM process. By restricting certain lifecycle features from the requestor user, client's are less likely to use the platform. The collaborator license should offer features that outside the standard CLM process but that amplify the product and desire to want to purchase additional collaborator licenses.

**What problems is Summize solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Transparency into contract status and whether agreements have been signed. Visibility into all signed contracts. Ability for clients to self serve. All of these services allow for Legal to be more organized, spend less time pulling agreements for others or having to locate agreements from different platforms. It gives Legal time back to review other priority request rather than drafting templated agreements throughout the week.

 ### 29. Great Contract Management System with AI

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Riane F. | Paralegal / Licensing Coordinator, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 07, 2025

**What do you like best about Summize?**

Customers Service is top notch and implementation has been relatively painless. AI does a fantastic job with pulling out party names and important dates, the summary function is a great tool when you are searching for information quickly (and can be customized to pull out almost anything). The outlook integration makes submitting requests and storing documents a breeze

**What do you dislike about Summize?**

Can be intimidating for non tech savvy users

**What problems is Summize solving and how is that benefiting you?**

contract request tracking and contract storage

 ### 30. Pleased with the Summize experience.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Renewables & Environment | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 23, 2025

**What do you like best about Summize?**

The platforms review pro has significantly reduced the time spent manually reviewing agreements of which has increased efficiency for the team. The transparency it affords the team has also been great in eliminating the needs for multiple correspondence to determine the status of a contract and its ability to integrate with Microsoft Office tools has also been great. It is nice to be able to use the plug ins within Microsoft Office and Teams to work directly within the platforms we are already using this greatly streamlines the process and minimizes disruptions. Finally, customer support has been consistently responsive and collaborative, helping us tailor the platform to suit our specific workflows and goals.

**What do you dislike about Summize?**

One area we would like to see improved is access to the contract repository for business users or requesters. Currently providing broader visibility comes with additional licensing costs and so this does limit our ability to scale access across the organization. Expanding access options without significant additional costs would make the platform even more impactful and help us unlock greater value across the departments.

**What problems is Summize solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The automation tool created within Summizes Review Pro tool improves the traditional contract review process of which is time consuming and requires manual searches of key terms and clauses. The use of the Review Pro tool increases efficiency in contract review and reduces turnaround times.

 ### 31. Summize Implementation

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Sports | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 24, 2025

**What do you like best about Summize?**

Our organization had an amazing experience working with Mariana Cimpureanu for our implementation. Mari did a fantastic job. She was very responsive and open to our feedback. She had the right balance of being patient with us during our busy season and then knowing when to push us in order to stay on track with implementation. She really shines in this role, and I couldn't imagine a better experience regarding implementation.

**What do you dislike about Summize?**

Like any CLM or similar platform, there are some upsides as well as some things we wished worked differently. Mari and her team were open to our ideas for improvement.

**What problems is Summize solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Contract management and tracking and contract creation.

 ### 32. Review of Summize Integration

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Legal Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 14, 2025

**What do you like best about Summize?**

Integration with word

Integration with outlook

Versioning (useful for comparisons against historic positions)

Repository linkage features

AI review features

Great implementation management by James Blake, who has been invaluable - very experienced, informed and pro-active supporting us through a complex and time-consuming process. Has made a huge impact for effective tool roll-out in the organisation.

**What do you dislike about Summize?**

The repository view features are limited (especially for requestors and collaborators)

Stakeholders are often confused by the "open in word to edit" functionality - they (i) fail to open the docs and see internal comments left there by legal team (sometimes even accidentally sending them out externally); and (ii) if they do use the feature, they do not save up the edited word doc as a new version. There is no clear distinction between internal and external mark-up / document versions.

It can be cumbersome to tweak and re-upload templates

Summize can be slow to load - sometimes I wait for some time (5-10 mins) for "requests" or "repository" to appear. Assume this is technical glitching, but it effectively means I sometimes can't access my contracts when I need to.

Hubspot integration - only has linkage to one account, so full business cannot use the integration

**What problems is Summize solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Summize integrates with the key tools used by our business - Outlook, Word and Hubspot. This improves it's ease of use. The integration with word also allows for detailed mark-up and negotiation to take place without needing to leave the platform.
The Docusign signing process is also transparent for stakeholders and an easier pitch to external signatories.

 ### 33. Excellent customer experience and a really interesting and capable bit of software

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Health, Wellness and Fitness | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 18, 2025

**What do you like best about Summize?**

The best feature of Summize is the customer experience. It is not a software company that will sell you some software and leave you to it. Right from sales to implementation the communication has been exemplary. We are going through implementation now and there is a steep learning curve and time commitment but the project manager Mari has been all over every aspect of it and ensured it stays on track and I get the assistance I need when I need it.

**What do you dislike about Summize?**

For now, whilst still in implementation, I can find the user interface confusing and I am not a fan of using Word Web for edits.

**What problems is Summize solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is reading contracts and giving summaries. Whilst the summaries do still need refining I have seen value in being able to work through contracts more quickly and the AI occasionally spots areas that I have missed and suggests adding clauses in.

 ### 34. Summize is a CLM designed for how companies actually process contracts

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sarah V. | Assistant General Counsel, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 11, 2024

**What do you like best about Summize?**

I have been part of 3 different CLM implementations in prior roles, and Summize was easily the most seamless. I love that you do not need to log into a portal, or require your 3rd parties to log into a portal, in order to review/negotiate contracts; the system funcions the way a contract negotiation actually plays out in reality.

The Teams and Outlook ad-ins are also especially useful. I also really like the AI summaries and data extraction functionality.

The Summize team is always open to suggestions, responsive to customer issues and genuinely strives to ensure satisfaction.

**What do you dislike about Summize?**

The search functionality is not as reliable as I'd hoped.
The AI is not always great at extracting information (for example, pulling party names) but Summize is continously improving and seriously considers customer suggestions, that is far more than you'd get from most CLM providers.

**What problems is Summize solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our prior contract/document generation tool was very archaic and unreliable, Summize has single-handedly solved that problem. We also had issues with centralizing and management storage of our large volume of contracts and related documents, Summize has completely fixed that.

Our users were hesistant to adopt any new technology, but once I introduced them to Summize and showed them some of the user-friendly features (particularly the Teams add-in) they quickly adopted it. Now I only hear positive feedback.

 ### 35. An invaluable tool which has transformed how we operate

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alison C. | Group General Counsel, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 10, 2024

**What do you like best about Summize?**

Very few tools are as easy to customise. This is very important for us as we provide services in multiple jurisdicitions and across different services.

The Create Tool has taken away the need for my team to manage minor commercial requests saving us a significant amount of time.

The team use Summize every day and has allowed us to treble the number of contract reviews we perform but without an increase in head count.

**What do you dislike about Summize?**

I would like to see the Ask Legal tool to be expanded so we can use Summize as our primary tool and move away from emails

**What problems is Summize solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Improved speeds on contract review.
Allows us to manage contracts across 28 different companies easily.
Records discussions on terms which allows us to easily record approvals under delegated authroties.
Reduced reliance on emails and email searches.
Repository of contracts that allows us to procduce "red flag" reports very easily.
Create function is invaluable.
Easy analytics allows me to report to my group board on volume and speed

**Official Response from Ell Powles:**

> Alison, thank you so much for taking the time to leave us a 5-star review! We’re thrilled to hear about your positive experience and deeply value the trust you place in us. Really appreciate the feedback on where we can be even better for you, & I'll be sure to pass this on! Here's to many more years working together & celebrating success!

 ### 36. UNC at Charlotte Summize Implementation Process

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Natasha W. | Director, Contract & Award Negotiations, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 03, 2025

**What do you like best about Summize?**

We appreciate the whole system, but what stands out most for us is being able to use our Playbook to make redlines and annotations, thanks to its integration with Word.

**What do you dislike about Summize?**

We find it inconvenient that any changes or updates to the playbook must be made manually.

**What problems is Summize solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Summize will help us reduce the time spent on contract review and negotiation, enhance the tracking of Master Agreements and related Task Orders, and strengthen our ability to spot problematic terms and conditions. Additionally, it will make it easier for us to search for similar terms and conditions across different contracts.

 ### 37. Positive experience with the product and customer service

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Medical Devices | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 29, 2025

**What do you like best about Summize?**

The user interface is intuitive and easy to use, as are the request and search functions. Our users have also provided positive feedback on the AI summaries.

**What do you dislike about Summize?**

The two-tiered folder structure is limiting in terms of organization and internal access controls. We've also had to find workarounds for the automatic email alerts/notifications, which cannot be custom configured.

**What problems is Summize solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Summize has reduced the amount of time it takes our legal team to draft documents on our templates. It has also improved the level of access our business users have to relevant agreements - whether NDAs or commercial contracts - via the Repository and the SalesForce integration.

 ### 38. Summize is Great!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Consulting | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 06, 2025

**What do you like best about Summize?**

Minimizes the amount of time to review contracts. Kallan has made the implementation extremely smooth!

**What do you dislike about Summize?**

Still learning how to best input our contract clauses correctly.

**What problems is Summize solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Reducing the time to review contracts.

 ### 39. Perfect tool for my department's needs, responsive and helpful implementation team!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Research | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 15, 2025

**What do you like best about Summize?**

I picked Summize and am most impressed with it due to the integrations with Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Teams. These are tools I use daily to receive, edit, and discuss new contracts or other legal matters, and having a CLM that does not require me to leave these tools is key. Especially in a workplace where some may be resistant to the change that comes with a new software- knowing I can assure my colleagues that this will not disrupt their current way of doing things is huge.

**What do you dislike about Summize?**

It can be a little confusing at times for those who are less accustomed to using software or technology in general. It does often require a detailed tutorial to figure out how to use certain features- for those on our team who don't have the time to do that, I would imagine they would prefer it be slightly more intuitive.

**What problems is Summize solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Prior to Summize, we were lacking a centralized space to store all of our agreements and we were lacking a feasible way to run analytics on our existing agreements. There were many data points being tracked manually by our counsel (myself) such as contract expiration dates, notice dates for termination, payment terms, etc. It was also hard to search our various databases to find a specific requested legacy agreement. Lastly, version control was not organized- no standard naming convention, no linking of all versions to each other in one space. Summize has addressed and solved all of these issues!

 ### 40. Excellent product and features but the support is the standout

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 23, 2025

**What do you like best about Summize?**

There is always someone willing to help provide guidance and offer suggestions to get the most out of the platform.

**What do you dislike about Summize?**

Given the sheer breadth of functionality, the implementation can be a bit overwhelming and time consuming; however the Summize team makes this a great experience in manageable pieces.

**What problems is Summize solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Time consuming back and forth negotiations of the same parts of contracts. Summize will allow us to have playbooks and pre-approved alternatives to empower the salespeople to negotiate within certain boundaries.

The contract repository and analysis will allow us to avoid unwitting renewals.

 ### 41. Summize implementation at Edenred Pay USA

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nancy K. | Contracts Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 21, 2025

**What do you like best about Summize?**

Summize is intuitive and i greatly appreciate the quality of the self help training.

**What do you dislike about Summize?**

At this time, I have not worked in the product enough to dislike any feature.

**What problems is Summize solving and how is that benefiting you?**

At this Summize has been instrumental for searching our repository for key clauses and be proactive with auto-renewals.

 ### 42. Review of Summize Implementation

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kristin L. | Senior Counsel, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 24, 2024

**What do you like best about Summize?**

The AI writing assistant is money. It makes reviewing, editing and generating contract terms so much faster. Most of the time I know what I want to say but it can take time to come up with the right wording. The AI function makes it so much easier, and is usually pretty close to or on the nose of what I am looking for. It's also a great tool for "turning around" clauses: when there is a clause that favors the other side, and I want to either make it mutually beneficial or favor my client, the AI tool makes all the necessary changes faster than I ever could. The AI features in themselves make Summize worth it.

**What do you dislike about Summize?**

The user interface platform can be kind of clunky. The most frustrating thing about using Summize is the fact that the Dashboard does not default to the view of requests specific to that user who has logged on, so we see every request and have to filter to get to our own. Also, I would really like a function where I can add edits/redlines/comments to a PDF file natively within the platform or a web-based platform through Summize, similar to what can be done with a Word doc. While I can convert PDFs to Word, for some kind of documents this doesn't work as well because of formatting issues, so it would be nice to have the ability to edit PDFs through Summize, rather than having to download, then reupload a new version.

**What problems is Summize solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Organizing all contracts into one source of truth. Streamlining the review request process. Speeding up the contract review process.

 ### 43. Stellar support and hands-on assistance for a well-designed product

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 20, 2025

**What do you like best about Summize?**

Summize offers above-average AI capabilities for contract reviews. It is easy to use, intuitive, and well-designed. You are always in good hands with the support team - who is always willing to assist and provide support from implementation through to adoption.

**What do you dislike about Summize?**

The tool can benefit from smaller enhancements which can suit unique use cases.

**What problems is Summize solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Summize offers high-quality first-pass reviews which allow users lacking in legal expertise to assess risks in legal documents. The tool benefits a variety of teams in that it simplifies legal documents which are otherwise highly complex and lengthy, and does so in minimal time. It has been a valuable tool that is easy-to-use for all.

 ### 44. The great customer support at Summize allows us to utilise Summize for centralised contract storage.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Business Supplies and Equipment | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 10, 2024

**What do you like best about Summize?**

Our customer support manager regularly catches up with us, encouraging the use of different parts of the software package. We regularly use the software for contract storage, and there are a lot of really useful filters and tags to search within and organise. It's also really great that we can have different accessibility levels so many people in the business don't have to constantly ask for contracts. The team at Summize helpfully tagged-up documents for us for the Create tool, due to tech constraints within our business not allowing the download of the Word Add-In.

**What do you dislike about Summize?**

There are some features, such as the AI contract summaries which can be irregular. Further, some things such as the Calendar, Notifications and Linked contracts can be difficult to implement.

**What problems is Summize solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Summize enables us to store all of our contracts centrally. This prevents documents getting lost, or having to chase members of the team for them. It also allows you to write notes and create tags and filters on the documents, so that you can click it, and easily see information within.
