What do you like best about Sugar Sell?

It has a nice layout and I like the customer service line for Enterprise users. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Sugar Sell?

There have been several times there are system errors or the system is down for a few minutes. The only explanation from Sugar CS is that there is something wrong with the server. The system is not nearly as user-friendly as Salesforce. It's harder to make changes and there are not as many vendors for doing customization. The vendors that we have worked with have not been nearly as helpful as our Salesforce vendors. However, Sugar is much cheaper so it is a tradeoff. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Sugar Sell solving and how is that benefiting you?

Our CRM is great for organizing and tracking sales, exporting information for printing labels for thank you notes and managing bids won with educational entities. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Sugar Sell?

The ability to generate and make your own reporting based on custom metrics and pre-generated reporting. Many functionalities and integrations are available. Very detailed parameters Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Very laggy and slow. Updating is tedious I hear. The search features are not intelligent. Searching is not straightforward you really need to know what youre searching for to hone in on it. Doing simple things can become tedious if you do not know the most efficient ways to search or display info. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Easy setup, powerful tools. There's nothing to long for and everything to have. Great for customization, great for having a complete overview and even greater for collaboration, in a customer/sales capacity. This is the one to get! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Theres a little bit for everyone! users, powerusers and administrators. The only downside is, though it's easy to set up, and is packed with powerful tools, it can take a bit of time finding them and getting the hang of it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Sugar Sell?

SugarCRM is simple to use from a user perspective and an administrative perspective. As the administrator, it's very easy to configure to our business processes. As our processes change, it's easy to make changes in SugarCRM. The price of licences is fair. The mobile app is excellent. It's easy to set roles and permissions. The reports are easy to use (once you learn it). Dashboards are effective and easy to setup. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Sugar Sell?

SugarCRM could do a better job of integrating with 3rd party apps. We use several sales automation tools but they do not talk to SugarCRM. There is an app exchange but the most common apps dont seem to be represented.

I mentioned dashboards as a positive but i do think that dashboard management and administration could be better,

Its not very easy to set quotas and measure converted sales against the quota.

Sales tools, lead tracking tools, reporting features are second to none

Module builder is fantastic and very customizable.

Open source roots. Benefits from the rising tide of PHP innovations which let you keep up to date by adding new modules for a very affordable prices. There is a massive community of PHP developers available to help build custom modules for you for cheap prices, if you don't have PHP programming skills. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Bargain paid open source CRM with lots of power

It can take some time to get used to how to use it. Also, it's too bad the free SugarCRM CE (Community Edition) version 6.5.25 is somewhat outdated, and updated only to fix security bugs. Although, it's about 75% the same features as the paid current version of SugarCRM Pro 7.8. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
