We recently implemented a deidcaited Customer Success team and this has been a very valuable course to have our team take. After weekly discussions, we are taking elements of each lesson and implementing our learnings in our day-to-day.

There isn't much I dislike about the program. There has only been one lesson I didn't like due to the leader of the lesson. it was difficult to follow.

The certification training was very clear and direct.  As many CSMs or CSM leaders can attest, time is always tight so having the content easily accessible and straight to the point was very important to me.

**What do you dislike about SuccessCOACHING?**

Overall, I really thought the course I took was very good.  I would definitely recommend it to new CSMs or anyone new to the function.  One recommendation would be to allow students to test out of certain sections.

This is a great series of courses especially for new CSMs or anyone new to the function.  I would also say that there is a lot to be gained from taking it even for more seasoned CSMs as it gives structure to topics that may seem intuitive but difficult to explain.

I have been managing Customer Success teams for many years and needed to get a certification to support my experience.  SuccessCoaching provided a clear path to certification and some useful templates along the way.  In my scenario, the certification courses provided validation to a lot of the strategies I have incorporated at several companies.

The content was great, really gives an overview of CS. And for the cost, can't beat it. Love that you can scale up when needed also.

The only negative I have is in some sessions the speaker is making background noises and it is very distracting.

Give it a try. It doesn't cost much so even if you don't find value, you're not out of thousands of dollars. Use it to level up your team.

I hired a CSM from our support department. She has all the product knowledge and understands CS but wanted her to get some more training in CS without it all coming from me. Her second week on the job focused on the level 1 training and it was excellent time and money spent.

The easy to consume format by watching pre-recorded videos and being able to walk through the content quickly

I didn't love that the entire course was just videos without any real presenter. The slides weren't very detailed as you went through so you really had to pay attention and contribute detailed notes to the handouts along the way

Definitely recommend these courses, especially if you're in a technology pre-sales or customer facing role. It's critical to understand the shift in consumption economics as companies transition their goals and spend into the cloud, which is why it's that much more important to be a strong customer advocate and know your customers in and out

**What problems is SuccessCOACHING solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The level 1 training is helping me solve the changing needs in the era of Consumption Economics. As we understand how the Cloud Model is shifting how customers consume and demand new technologies, the SuccessCoaching trainings greatly help me to align with the expectations of those customers as their consumption behaviors change. This training helps me to understand the importance of being a customer success advocate and trusted advisor with my customers. Instead of only focusing on traditional long-term annual contracts, I have to shift my mindset to smaller interactions and engagements, as well as bigger picture executive reviews. Understanding the pains and needs of the actual end-users, using those relationships to help influence micro-transactions in this new cloud model, but tying it back to the bigger picture needs of the business. That's an important understanding and overlap of skills that were not traditional to my role.

I enjoyed the Online option as it allowed me to move through the Course material at my own pace. Some sections, I used to reinforce my knowledge so I was able to get through quickly, whereas I took my time through some of the more complex and important concepts, like onboarding.

With the Online course, it does lack the ability to ask questions and get immediate feedback, but it's a give and take between online/self-study and instructor led training.

The lessons are thorough but broken up into digestible parts. Don't think you can glide through the course in a week. It takes time and dedication to get the most out of the content.

I'd have liked a little more variation in delivery and knowledge checks. While the content was very good, sometimes it felt a little heavy on the slideshows.

If you want your team to get a good introduction and a solid base understanding of what Customer Success is, this is a great course. It is accessible and doesn't toss you into unfamiliar jargon. By the end, your team will feel confident in not only how to speak to customer success practices, but how to implement and advocate for a truly important part of the customer experience.

I liked how easy it was to consume.  The videos were great and easy to follow along with!

**What do you dislike about SuccessCOACHING?**

There were a few sections that had some really long videos that were sort of hard to follow.  I think it's because it seemed to be a recording of a Instructor-Led training to a customer and was used in the online course.

**Recommendations to others considering SuccessCOACHING:**

Make sure you give yourself plenty of time to finish the course.  I know my org said it would take 8 hours but it seemed to take me much longer than that.  I watched the videos in their entirity on 1x speed.  I suppose one could watch at 1.5x speed and you may be able to meet that 8 hour time frame.

**What problems is SuccessCOACHING solving and how is that benefiting you?**

SuccessCOACHING is solving the issue for sellers thar are not focusing on the customer and only focusing on selling more products to customers.  Taking this training really helps change that mindset because customers need a reason why.  They need to know how it helps them.  Having that mindset of focusing on what the customers success plan is, helps build trust and a longer term customer.

Although some of the metrics that were disclosed for successful interacations with our customers didn't always apply to our industry, to know these metrics exist and are valid to other industries, makes the certification that much more valueable.

**What do you dislike about SuccessCOACHING?**

Some of the certification questions were worded in a way to throw you off. But, I guess haste makes waste! When testing you should always bring your "A" game!

**Recommendations to others considering SuccessCOACHING:**

Being exposed to LinkedIn and seeing the importance of a Customer Success Manager in so many industries and the demand for certified employees solidifies just how much certification can be for employment. Customer Success Management is here to stay. A trend? Not in the slightest way!

**What problems is SuccessCOACHING solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The biggest benefit I see is that our customer's are seeing more engagement from a vendor that was never a priority when doing business in years past. With all of the increased engagements with the customer our company can really see some issues with internal resources for the customer, like just how good is our support channels and bring to light how some of the decisions that our company has made to out-source support to off-shore entities like India and Guatamala are affecting our goals for becoming best in class support.

What I like best about SuccessCOACHING's Certified Customer Success Management course is that it supports me with real actionable resources and exercises as well as knowledge and examples from a wider industry context.

**What do you dislike about SuccessCOACHING?**

Doing the online self-learning course means that there isn't the opporunity to easily question or discuss things further in a group whilst learning the context. However, that is outweighed by the flexibility of taking the course in your own time and there are live roundtables that additional online resources that SuccessCOACHING host which are additional opportunities to be able to do this.

SuccessCOACHING is helping me to consider my work in the wider context of Customer Success. With a viewpoint from wider industry knowledge to consider what the value of different approaches could be and not just being content with how things have been done before. When coming onboard to a new role there's often a period of time where you're training on the specific internal processes of a company, but aren't practicing how to run a call, how to document and note customer info, create success plans etc. SuccessCOACHING has been useful in practicing these and helping me onboard for a new role.

I was feeling a bit all over the place when it came to my company's CSM process as we are a start-up and in a rapid growth stage. I really wanted to know how others were hitting problems and situations that were CS-related and felt like I wasn't getting that clear info and direction in my daily activities of my day. I also was feeling a bit less confident when hitting stations that were "risk" related and how to handle specific client's unique personalities. Now I am feeling more confident and aware of how to hit these certain situations. Overall, so many good tips I have learned from the course!

Pace yourself, take good notes it will help with the Exams, download all the samples they provide that each course it maybe not be valuable at the time but it will help you in the future or at some point as you learn and progress up to the Enterprise sectors of business.

When I first started my career in CSM role it was all over the place I did a lot of thngs that would be a cmbination of account management, support, advisor, upsells, renewals, and new business. However I never really truly understood what the role of a CSM actually meant. In my current role we are responsible for Renewals, KPIs, Engagement, deal with disgruntle clients, an much more. With courses I took I was able to understand how to work my BOB, how to handle difficult clients, what all the acronmyns meant when it came to numbers, GRR, NRR, Churn, how to manage and identify churns, how to work a renewal, what a SuccessPlan was, EBR, Account reviews and the basics and foundation of Client Success Management.

I like the interactive and "human-ness" of the coaches.  They were engaging and made sure to keep us involved and tailoring the training to our direct needs and learning scope.

It was very long in each day.  The breaks were very short and there was so much information to process in any given day.  
I also felt like the exam at the end was a little all over the place; meaning, much of what was taught in the class was not directly addressed in the same manner on the exam.  Thank goodness there were modules available for each section addressed in the exam bc otherwise I may not have passed.

Do it! The little bit of criticism that I have for the training are well outweighed by all the benefits of what was learned; not to mention the credentials we get afterwards!  Thanks so much SuccessCOACHING!

I asked few times via the support, email, and chatbot a question regarding success plan but I never got a reply sadly. Moreover, sometimes I feel there is too much info. It is all good info but maybe too much. Moreover, there was not much about the customer journey and also some practical examples would have been benefitial to get the theory through.

keep notes, it helps to accumulate the knowledge. Dont answer the feedback question before you are through with everything within the chapter. Sometimes, I wanted to change my feedback because something else came afterwards that changed my idea of the chapter and it was not possible to change it anymore.

It gives a good introduction to the topic. For someone with no idea what CSM is about, it helps a lot.

I did not understand some of the terminology of Customer Success or the history where SAAS term came from. I know have a better understanding of the terminology comes from.

**What do you like best about SuccessCOACHING?**

The subjects that were covered in the Level 1 CCSM course. I took this course when I was 6 months into my CSM job and I noticed that the topics/subjects covered in the course are very similar to what we practice at work. In light of this, the course really boosted my understanding of each subject/topic to even greater heights and helped me to do things in my role tremendously.

**What do you dislike about SuccessCOACHING?**

The videos in the course can be quite dry and boring because is just voice-over slide show. There are no graphics or pictures that make the video more interesting to view.

**Recommendations to others considering SuccessCOACHING:**

I would recommend SuccessCoaching to make the videos in the course more interactive and also consider offering trial examination questions to help the student to practice the question or do a trial-run to understand the exam format before actually taking the certification exam.

**What problems is SuccessCOACHING solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I was very new to CSM and my understanding of CSM was very limited at the beginning of my career. By taking this course, it enables me to understand what CSM is all about, how to manage client, what are the metrics revolves around the success of being a CSM and most importantly how to speak to a client so that the client view you as a trusted partner instead of just a vendor only.
