**What do you like best about Substrata?**

I work in international sales, so I have a global reach when it comes to client communication (via email, phone, etc.), negotiating deals, and tracking buyers’ habits and movements across or within different regions. Substrata helps me identify a customer’s intent, sort and prioritize leads based on that intent, then approach customers with the best-fit communication strategy based on real-world data (insight) in real-time. It also allows me to be more productive and effective in my daily activities.

**What do you dislike about Substrata?**

At certain points, I find that the amount and detail of the insights available can be a bit overwhelming, particularly when I’m multiple regions simultaneously. A more simplified dashboard or the ability to create custom filter options would help me quickly identify key priorities across those regions.

**What problems is Substrata solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It provides me with the ability to eliminate assumptions regarding doing business in multiple countries by providing me with insight into the buyer’s intent to purchase. This leads to an increase in my ability to effectively perform in a more efficient manner.

**What do you like best about Substrata?**

I use data to monitor client health, the level of their engagement with my company, and how to retain them. Substrata allows me to determine client sentiment (whether they are happy or not), identify which clients are at the highest risk, personalize my way of communicating with each client, and act quickly on insights to reduce churn and build long-term relationships with clients.

**What do you dislike about Substrata?**

Sometimes I notice that the insights I receive are a bit repetitive, and when I integrate with some of the CRM platforms, there can be a slight lag from when I want to take action and when I have the information to do so; therefore, there are times when I do not act quickly on client signals or on retention opportunities.

Substrata helps me identify clients at risk of churning sooner and allows me to be more proactive in my efforts to increase engagement and retain them by using data to make informed decisions daily.

Substrata is identifying the buyer's interest and then determining how those signals relate to how successful I will have with the deal. This gives me the information needed about how to communicate effectively with a potential buyer, how to prioritize my accounts, and ultimately makes my outreach effort and closing process much more efficient.

I love using Substrata! However, as an Enterprise Account Executive, sometimes there is an abundance of insights coming from this application with no clear guidance on how to analyze all of these insights in order to use the various features of the app efficiently (I may take a while to fully understand how to use all of the different functionality).

With the help of Substrata, I can identify real forms of buyer intent and hidden signals related to my deal so I can target my time and resources on closing high value deals and achieving the best results for closing.

the thing I like most about this product is that it tracks the signals coming from our prospects. As I work as a marketer in a software development company and constantly deal with leads, it is often difficult to figure out whether prospects find our offers interesting or not. With the help of substrata, one receives the exact data on prospects' sentiment, which makes it possible to understand which campaigns have been successful.

the thing that I dislike most about this product is that the dashboard looks rather complex, meaning that it takes some time to learn how to use this tool properly. Also, while its integration with major services such as email is great, the same cannot be said about integration with minor ones.

**What problems is Substrata solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps us solve the issue of not knowing whether or not we are reaching potential customers. As a marketer, I should know whether or not our approach is effective or whether we are just getting on peoples' nerves. **What do you like best about Substrata?**

What I find most interesting is how it points out the actual sentiment in an email thread. I work with a lot of SaaS entrepreneurs and service providers in my industry, and sometimes there are discrepancies between tone and intent. With Substrata, I can tell if a prospect is losing interest or if there are underlying objections that have not come up yet. It removes all guesswork for me in terms of follow-ups.

I suppose there is a bit of a learning curve in terms of getting used to Substrata. There is just so much data provided, and sometimes it can feel a bit overwhelming when you first open the program. I have found that there can be a bit of clutter on the dashboard when you are juggling many high-volume conversations at once. It takes a week or two to really get used to the interface.

Substrata is solving the problem of deal blindness. As the founder, I cannot be in every single deal. Even if I were in every deal, I might not pick up on the subtle social cues. Substrata is helping me pick the deals that I should be focusing my time on versus the deals that will probably not go anywhere. I like how it points out things you normally don’t notice. Like when a client sounds unsure or not fully interested. It’s not always obvious in emails, but this helps. I don’t have to think too much before replying now. Just check and respond accordingly. Also useful when there are many conversations going on at the same time. Keeps everything a bit more clear.

Although I find that the advanced insights of Substrata require some time to interpret and that it may initially seem a little overwhelming to navigate the Dashboard of Substrata.

**What problems is Substrata solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The main problem that Substrata is addressing for my organization is unlocking the intent of actual customers based on their interaction with my brand. I will then use this information to generate better-targeted campaigns, which will yield higher conversion rates.

**What do you like best about Substrata?**

The best part is how it helps me stop guessing how people are feeling in long email chains. At Genpact, i have to deal with a lot of different teams and clients. Substrata basically acts like a second pair of eyes that tells me if the tone of conversation is shifting like if someone is becoming impatient or if I’m being too formal. It’s great for making sure my communication stays professional and effective without me having to overthink every sentence.

**What do you dislike about Substrata?**

The only real downside is that the platform feels very geared toward “sales” and “closing deals”. Since my work is mire about process management and operations, some of the terminology doesn’t always fir my daily tasks. I’d love to see a version that’s more focused on internal team coordination and project management rather than just sales cycles.

**What problems is Substrata solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Its definitely a time saver, helps me stay on the same page with cross-functional teams, making collaboration much smoother, it kept my conversations professional.

I use Substrata to help me understand how well our teams are working together, and to identify potential areas for improvement in their communication when they support a complex deal. Substrata provides me with visibility into engagement and gaps in communication and insight into potential risks early. This information allows me to guide our process, provide support to the team, and ensure the entire process runs as smoothly as possible.

**What do you dislike about Substrata?**

I also experience frustration with the amount of information Substrata provides about the way people behave toward each other. At times, this can be overwhelming due to the number of insights provided, and I must spend additional time sorting through them to find the insights that are most useful to me.

**What problems is Substrata solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Substrata provides me with visibility into what is happening during communication failures and stalled conversations and misalignment between teams. This early indication allows me to intervene at an earlier point in the process, help our teams collaborate, and facilitate the movement of a deal to successful conclusion without further delay.
