What problems is Submit.com solving and how is that benefiting you?
The biggest issue we had before Submit.com was everything being scattered. We were using a mix of Google Forms, spreadsheets, email, and shared folders to manage our grants—and it just wasn’t sustainable. Things would slip through the cracks, reviewers would miss deadlines or be reviewing the wrong version of an application, and there was a lot of duplication of effort. It was stressful, and honestly, not very professional from the applicant’s point of view either.
Submit.com has helped us pull all of that into one system. Everything lives in one place now—applications, reviewer scores, communications, progress tracking. That alone has made a massive difference. We can set up workflows that actually match how we run our programs, not force our process into someone else’s mold. That flexibility is something we didn’t get from other platforms we tried.
It’s also taken a lot of the manual work off our plate. Things like reminder emails, application status updates, or assigning reviewers—it’s either automated or just easier to do. That’s saved us hours every week and helped our small team stay on top of everything during busy rounds.
It’s not just about saving time—it’s about being more consistent, more transparent, and more in control of the whole process. That’s been a huge win for us. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
