With lack of way to have stored procedures in a MongoDB database it is needed to hava a way to keep organized your queries. By now the only tool that help ypu doing that in an efficient way is Studio 3t Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Studio 3T?

Simple UX, aggregation tool, visual query builder, exports. Easy to use and understand for common tasks like make business report with aggregations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Studio 3T?

I don't use SQL at all and I don't want to pay for that. For me, as a soloenterpreonur 200 bucks + taxes is a beat expensive.

Before Studio3T I used Robo3T, but it was a little buggy and can't do simple tasks.

Studio3T has the a big problem for me. When I change wifi network - I need to disconnect current databases and close all tabs (save requests to txt file in advance) and then connect to DB again. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Studio 3T solving and how is that benefiting you?

Quickly update values in data, make reports with aggregations, export data to Excel (csv), prototype and test datastructures before making production schemas. Test queries in Studio3T before implement their to code. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Studio 3T?

Studio 3T is a great tool to access and manage your mongo databases. The tool is intuivite to use and has many features to make your experience as streamlined as possible.

The customer support is also quick to respond and very helpful.

What do you like best about Studio 3T?

I have been using studio 3T from past 3 years and it has helped me to write complicated queries and tasks on a click of few buttons. The data import and export is so simple like we do copy paste. There are many magical features which can help us to optimise the schema and queries. Any non tech person can interact with DB which seems to be the best part of the tool. What do you dislike about Studio 3T?

I don't like to write queries for aggregation stages, mainly the lookup stage with nested pipeline. There should be some snippets which could help me to write queries faster Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Auto suggestion of queries are slow and hanggy and sometimes there is random break down of mongo shell Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Studio 3T?

I teach software architecture courses and this is my sixth year of using Studio 3T in them. It's a great tool for students to start with in their academic - as it can easily be used for simple tasks. What I really like about Studio 3T is that it can grow with the needs of my students AND it can transition with them after their graduation into their workplace. At that point, they can unlock the full potential of the tool for use in professional settings. I found Studio 3T to be more robust and reliable than many alternatives. What do you dislike about Studio 3T?

There is not much to dislike about Studio 3T. Over the years, the tool has added features that overcame any concerns I had. The user inerface has become more complex over time but I think that's to be expected given the features that it packs! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Functionality, UI/UX, performance, and ease of use. The tool provides effective solutions to work and manage (delete, export, update, and so on) the DB. If compare with others, the 3T has all that I need to be comfortable working with Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I found one interesting thing, when I am changing the field in the LIVE change, it does not lock the other processes and sometimes returns the error, because DB is busy Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
