It's awesome! tons of features. It does a pretty goood job of autocompleting the methods that are available at any given point.Customer service is incredible Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

No bracket matching.

What do you like best about Studio 3T?

It's the best tool for dealing with MongoDB operations. It helps as it's available for MacOS, Windows and Linux, therefor all our engineers can use the same tool and share knowledge. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Studio 3T?

I'm not too fond that admins should have an assigned license. Therefore if I want to delegate user management, I should make one person an owner, which is a bus factor. Or I should give a license for people who will not use this tool but will make an user management. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Studio 3T solving and how is that benefiting you?

UI and the graphical query builder are awesome.

Pipieline builder works very well as well Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Studio 3T?

I use it every time but query builder can not be set as the defaut view, have to go click the button. And then the + button is very small, the whole view should be clickable to add new qurey param Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Hi there, thanks for this review! You can go to Preferences>General and set the tool to "Open Visual Query Builder in new collection tabs" which might help, also since a recent update, it opens automatically when you drag any field in the Table or Tree views. Please update to 2021.9 to see this in action.

Hi there! Thanks for this feedback. We provide the whole JSON document so that users can make edits in context with the rest of the data. Removing data from an editable view and using it to apply a potentially non-unique update can lead to data loss. If users want to only edit the projected fields, it is possible to use the table view. Hope this clarifies your comment, but please ask if you need anything else!

What do you like best about Studio 3T?

User interface is very handy

The mongo to sql migrations have been of great help with one of our project

Without any issues have been able to migrate millions of rows in to sql from mongo db and tasks can be scheduled and mapped Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Studio 3T?

The tool cannot be interfaced with command line for more crom job operations sometimes it does a bit limited with the options

For example: The databack from one server happens and expected that to be fetched by studio 3t and perform the task based on that Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Hi there! Thanks for the feedback - we really appreciate it. Regarding your comment on the crom job operations, Studio 3T makes it easy to generate applications using the Generate Code option. This can be used to create scripts which can be run without Studio 3T's intervention and integrated into your infrastructures workflow. What do you like best about Studio 3T?

It makes easier and faster for newcommers to get familiar with Mongo DB datastore. It makes onboarding much faster and smoother. It is also very useful for support stecialist to use graohical interface. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Studio 3T?

Although product is super nice , it's too costly to onboard all support support specialists that working in shifts 24/7. It would be nice to have shared active user licence. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Our support specialist now can solve cuatomers issues without engagement of tech engineers, this is a huge efficiency for us as development teams can fully focus in new feature development. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
