What do you like best about Strongpoint?

It facilitate the change management process for a team with large number of admin.

The change log are easy to categorize. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Strongpoint?

Some parts are both in financial controls and Change Management (for instance a change in cost center) will be captured by both modules.

Some fields are in [beta] and that makes it hard to rely on.

The JIRA integration is only available for change management and not the financial control part. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Strongpoint solving and how is that benefiting you?

We are making sure some sensitive part of our NetSuite instance is covered by a change request. This helps us to communicate with internal and external auditors on our change management compliance. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

* Strongpoint offers a wide number of features which effectively aligns the change management with customer requirements in our Salesforce platform.

* With its Flashlight tool, we can prepare documentation in brief for all Salesforce attributes and establish connection between various objects & its relationship.

* Since we handle a lot of sensitive information, its important to keep track of data changes for managing compliance policies and prevent security breach. Standpoint streamlines the tedious process of consolidating change history for quick reference.

* We can also populate the user permissions between various Salesforce applications for comparing the privileges and to revoke it if its no longer required. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Strongpoint?

* The learning curve is quite steep since we need to have brief understanding on various object-level and record-level security features of Strongpoint.

* Also, we need to ensure that the availability & accuracy of our Salesforce metadata because lack/incomplete metadata will affect the change management process.

* Apart from these challenges, Strongpoint is effective thanks to its hassle-free integration with third-party softwares, ease of implementation through custom documentation templates, creating customized approval workflows, capturing the proposed change details and maintaining audit trails across our Salesforce environments. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Strongpoint solving and how is that benefiting you?

* Strongpoint enables us to keep track of various custom Salesforce elements under object-level, field-level, record-level and workflow implementations.

* Any changes with respect to planning change proposals, potential risk analysis, documenting controlled deployments and release management are effectively captured. These details can be easily co-ordinated with all team members and stakeholders with minimal effort.

* Change Impact Analysis provides detailed insights on how our proposed change implementation approaches may affect our existing Salesforce data, its configurations and dependencies.

* Documentation templates ensures that all team members follow the document standardization compliance specified by our clients, thereby maintaining consistency & quality assurance.

* For quick conflict resolutions, we can make use of its intuitive dashboard to identify discrepancies in change management metrics, sales trends and compliance standards. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

- The DRD breaks down the relationships a field has to various configuration types in Salesforce

- You're able to distinguish who owns various custom objects, fields, and records

Overall, it takes away much of the guesswork when it comes to assessing your org's entire configuration in a very efficient and organized manner. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Strongpoint?

Ease of use. This product is well-presented to the user. Logical user interface makes for a great experience. I love being able to see where items in our org are used. Getting to scripts, workflows, lists, etc. is easy from the ERD view. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Strongpoint?

Sometimes I cannot find specific fields that I need to find to be able to know how and where it's being used. I don't know if that's a limitation of NetSuite (where we use Strongpoint) or not. I would also like to see the product come with a training program, much like Trailhead for Salesforce. The up-take on using this product would be much faster and probably more efficient. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering Strongpoint:

Consider getting full training on the product so that you can be sure you're taking advantage of it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Strongpoint solving and how is that benefiting you?

We were having a hard time knowing exactly where our fields and records were being used as far as in scripts and workflows. We also didn't always have an easy way to see when something was last used. These hurdles made creating updates and enhancements challenging as we'd often encounter unintended consequences. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Strongpoint?

Wish I was able to delete/clean-up records in bulk. The status is a good guide, but removing them as I mark them for clean-up would be great. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Strongpoint solving and how is that benefiting you?

We have many customizations in our account and if one needs to be altered, we need to know all the touchpoints that will be affected. Strongpoint ERD view has been great to see where it is used and referenced. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Strongpoint?

- You can manage tons of data using a tool called 'FlashLight' it helps to manage any redundancy with data or documentation.

- This is mainly an automatic compliance reporting system that can be integrated with Salesforce and Netsuite.

- You can run reporting without any data redundancy as there will be redundancy checks as well as any documentation that needs to be audited will be produced.

- Good technology for company audits and report management.

- Provided Indexing by scanning the Org, indexes all metadata and you get to notice the entire sitemap and keyphrases placed.

- Account permission based on user rules are also available and managed by the admin of the account or some of the users having the full rights to information.

- This will bring more clear documentation when retaining documents during audits and research.

- Integration with Tickets for any requests or update changes mainly using Jira.

- Captures and records all the changes and even places any reports for the task at hand.

- Sales management documentation, account configuration protocols are documented and configured. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Strongpoint?

- I would want more clear documentation to be provided by the company to influence more users on how easy the setup is since this will be used as a documentation system for the entire organization.

- Would need even deeper database on the API integration and ticket system. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering Strongpoint:

I would say this is a well-mannered system but would be great if the user interface was more customized and easy to toggle rest assured it is just that some toggle options are missing but this is easy to use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Strongpoint solving and how is that benefiting you?

- Organization Data management manage by users with privileged roles.

- Sales and marketing.

- Accepting requests changes or requests for an update using the Jira ticketing system.

- Reporting, managing changelogs, and cataloging any metadata.

- Integrating with Salesforce and following up with custom relations in regards to sales and marketing.

- Integrating salesforce to generate leads and document the reports and changelogs.

- It is good that there are manageable pricing rules for approval requests and based on which account can be modified or closed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Strongpoint?

Some of the menus are a little clunky, and it can take a while to get used to them. Something so small, I'd prefer the SoD menu closer or embedded in the Strongpoint menu Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering Strongpoint:

I would suggest getting the entire Strongpoint product! You can build as you need, but the logging and evaluation of the system is invaluable! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Strongpoint solving and how is that benefiting you?

Our number one goal was to have clarity and process around SoD. I know have several reports and new methods to give the auditors for compliance Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Strongpoint?

It provides incredible insight into customizations, users/roles, changes, and script performance. It also has automated tools to help with removing stale saved searches to help keep NetSuite clean. The change management is awesome and is highly configurable to help show what is important to you. Lastly, their support is awesome. The first response and time to resolution are incredibly quick. We've made enhancement requests to the product and some came out on the next StrongPoint update. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Strongpoint?

When you pay for quality, you get quality. It's not cheap, but when you factor in the time savings and the value add to the organization, it pays for itself very quickly. Fortunately, there is a free version of this product (at the time of this writing). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering Strongpoint:

Install the trial and run the Entity-Relationship Diagram (ERD). You'll be amazed at how well it connects, indexes, and presents the customizations. StrongPoint also has a YouTube channel with really good content and how-to videos. Do your research first to see if it is a good fit. Also, if you decide to get the product, I highly recommend paying for the implementation/training support. It's worth every penny. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Strongpoint solving and how is that benefiting you?

The problems we are solving are Change Management (the who, what, when, where, how questions), removing old roles that no one has used in months, removing old customizations that are no longer used, removing old saved searches that no one uses, and putting in controls with Change Requests to make sure we are compliant.

The benefit we realized is that we have so much more visibility to the environment. It's kinda like walking on a tarmac with limited visibility at an airport vs being in the control tower and seeing everything. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Strongpoint?

The Flashlight and Documentation & Optimization feature sets are fantastic for any size company that has even basic customizations. However, the effort saved to analyze the system and assess the impact of changes becomes huge in older and highly customized NetSuite accounts. For those needing formal change management and falling under SOX the Intelligent Change Management and Enterprise Compliance features provide a quick solutions to a key problems. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Strongpoint?

Not a fault of the product but implementing the change management and enterprise compliance processes can be challenging without the proper resources to implement and manage. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Strongpoint solving and how is that benefiting you?

The biggest problem solved is the ability to quickly assess the impact of change or where a customization is used within the system. This saves a tremendous amount of time and allows the team to focus more on the real work and not chasing down unintended consequences in the system. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
