## StrongDM Reviews
  ### 1. Create a more organized database.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Marcos F. | Team Manager, Consumer Services, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 28, 2019

**What do you like best about StrongDM?**

strongDM this is a system that allows us to modify our entire database and place it in a panel, thus maintaining all the information, in order to speed up the work, that is, all the information of the company is entered and it becomes a panel where we will have All organized and also is a way to develop jobs easier, the entire system is protected which offers security against third parties who want to steal information.
It is a service that can be easily implemented in the financial or human resources area in order to perform and improve the quality of your work.

**What do you dislike about StrongDM?**

If there are any problems such as the database, it goes from the computer to a web system or to the system it would be perfect that it offers a more protected and secure feature, a wider protection or a backup such as the cloud, more security and space,to be able to keep more important files.

**Recommendations to others considering StrongDM:**

strongDM, I recommend it because it is a wide service, it offers a much more open database or with more freedom to be modified according to the customization we want, we also maintain a wider security, we love it for its good service and that is why we recommend it to All users, to improve the quality of work and organization.

**What problems is StrongDM solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our system was somewhat obsolete due to the amount of work and files saved, it was not very easy to organize what this brought problems, because we did not have an order to improve the services of the company every day, we sought a strongDM solution has been a Super service that saves time in searching documents and order in the database.

  ### 2. I thought it would disrupt my workflow but it hasn't!

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ryan P. | Senior Product Manager, Internet, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 19, 2019

**What do you like best about StrongDM?**

I was worried it would disrupt my workflow but it didn't and it really only took about 10 minutes to configure and enable (as a user, not an admin). As a product manager, I'm constantly querying various databases. Sometimes I'll do it 20x / day, whereas other times I'll go days without writing SQL. The ability to just enable strongDM for the MySql database I need to hit and not have to worry about it again has been awesome.

**What do you dislike about StrongDM?**

I have to switch between different VPNs to access different databases for different apps (weird, I know). It seems as though StrongDM doesn't like when I'm switching between VPNs, as sometimes it says I'm connected (and have the green bolt), but I'm unable to connect to the DB via Postico or SequelPro. If I quit StrongDM, restart my VPN connection, restart StrongDM, it seems to resolve the issue. This also needs to be done if I haven't connected to a DB for a number of days and then try to. It's a minor inconvenience, but worth noting.

**What problems is StrongDM solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As a product manager, there was a point where I lost access to read a copy of the prod database because we couldn't provide audit trail of my activity. We brought StrongDM on board and now I have read access again. I can't imagine doing my job with out it. There are so many times throughout the day I need to run ad hoc queries, it just would be awful to not have the right access. StrongDM allowed for my access (as a non-platform engineer) to happen.
