The interface was seamless and getting setup was a breeze for someone who has little knowledge in the online payments space. **What do you dislike about Stripe Payments?** Just like most people, I would want a lower percentage fee to be coming out of each transaction, but I understand why it is what it is. **Recommendations to others considering Stripe Payments:** Probably not a good thing if you're a big outfit, but a great quick way to get you accepting online payments if you're new to online payments. **What problems is Stripe Payments solving and how is that benefiting you?** I am finding it easier to get small groups I work with to move towards online merchandising vs. in person cash, check, etc. type payments. The fact it also has options for more than just credit cards and checks, but you can setup Apple Pay and Masterpass for use on your sites and in person. **What do you dislike about Stripe Payments?** I wish they would get the Samsung Pay option available. Also, they removed BitCoin as a payment option last year. While I never had anyone pay that way, it was nice to have the option available. **Recommendations to others considering Stripe Payments:** If you are implementing into an e-commerce platform, just make sure you setup your account with fraud protection and whatever payment methods you want to utilize. If you are setting up a point of sale system at a location, definitely look at the options and make sure you get the equipment that is right for you. **What problems is Stripe Payments solving and how is that benefiting you?** I was looking for something different than PayPal for some of the sites I work on. Not everyone likes PayPal and I was asked my take on different solutions. I tried several and Stripe was one of the ones I really liked. It was easy to setup in WooCommerce and many other platforms because it's already built in. We also needed to find a good payment system we could easily use when building into our own custom platforms. They're API is easy to work with and well documented which is always a bonus. ### 7. Fees can be high for other softwares, like PayPal, but Stripe gives eligible nonprofits a discount on their fees. **What do you dislike about Stripe Payments?** Bookkeeping can be a pain because it is difficult to find the payouts with the breakdown of fees. There is also not a great way to connect it to Quickbooks Online, so manual deposits with fees subtracted make it a bit cumbersome. **What problems is Stripe Payments solving and how is that benefiting you?** Our fees are much lower than when we used PayPal and the software connects to our CRM software beautifully. ### 8. Stripe's API documentation is really well done, in fact if you are logged into your Stripe account and looking through the docs, the page will populate the example code blocks with keys from your account, say your test api key. nice little touch to save time. Testing with Stripe is awesome, the web interface has a switch to go into Test mode where you can try all sorts of payment conditions with a large list of test cards for certain scenarios, like payment declined. And subscriptions. Stripe makes handling reoccurring payment a breeze with their subscription class. **What do you dislike about Stripe Payments?** I wish there was better reporting on the backend interface of Stripe. They have a chat where you can immediately speak to someone and they are always available to help me with any questions that I have. I like that Stripe is easy to use and offers a platform on both mobile and desktop. Their mobile app is extremely user friendly and allows you to do just about as much as you can do from desktop. You can also setup the app to notify you of your total sales every morning, if you'd like. **What do you dislike about Stripe Payments?** The fee (2.9% + $0.30 per transaction) is a bit of a pain. But what can you do. Also, keep in mind that their UX is a bit confusing and can take a bit of time to learn. I love that it automatically deposits money into our bank account once a transaction is complete, and I never really have to think about the system itself - it just does what it's supposed to do! We haven't had any complaints from customers, and as we performed trial transactions, it was very easy to process a payment for a purchase. From start to finish, this is one of the easiest transaction processing systems we've ever used. **What do you dislike about Stripe Payments?** There's really nothing to dislike about Stripe. It's cost effective and easy to use. Even the set up was incredibly easy, so there's very little time or effort from implementation to every day use. With our other provider, it was clunky, there were too many steps involved for the purchaser, and we had to manually request funds be transferred to our bank account. There should be some sort of notation made in Pipedrive after the sale is completed. Like a receipt. **Recommendations to others considering Stripe Payments:** It's easy for customer to use, but make sure to notate the amount that customers paid somewhere in your notes. **What problems is Stripe Payments solving and how is that benefiting you?** It is very easy for customers to pay their required deposit.
