Go ANYWHERE else but StripeAvoid this platform at all costs. They actively aided and abetted a company who not only defrauded over 15 of my own clients, but are currently under investigation by the FTC. They, without notice, after 20 years of being in business and at least 5 years using Stripe, reclassified my business on the farudster's reccomendation and shut down my payments. Not only that, I had 1 refund request in 7 years and they withheld 10% of all trasactions for close to a year. If you want your money locked up and your business abused and payments shut down, definitely go with Stripe. If you want your business to be treated with integrity and honestly, go ANYWHERE else but Stripe Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The platform lacks customization options and functionality. It is also incredibly difficult to use for a lay person. The set up seemed easy at first, but then later on Stripe requires documentation and makes it incredibly difficult to comply with (this happened with my original sign up and is now happening again as I'm trying to change banks). The only comparison I have is Square, but the ease of use, customization, functionality, and ability to actually be paid in a reasonable time frame of Square make Stripe seem absolutely laughable. Recently I have been integrating Stripe into my organization and I loved it.

The Integration process is seamless because Stripe provides a large number of libraries that get regular updates, compatible with many programming languages and frameworks i.e. Ruby, Python, Node, PHP, JAVA, GO.

The Code is open source and has large community of people to help and guide you.

The integration process will take hardly two to three days and your business is ready to take payments.

The Apis are well documented making the api flow easier to understand and to integrate.

Stripe Comes with its dashboard which has many features, you can configure webhook to fire custom events, Customer tracking, Payment Analytics, Risk factor analysis, and much more.

When I talking from the customer of merchantd Or any business customer I mostly dislike the convenience fee from the stripe when customer or users using this payment gateway and other thing is the occasional of customer or users account holding.

When I with integration for stripe payemeny in structured financial portals that dealing with chargebacks it can be time consuming and costly. businesses may lose revenue and incur charges in the dispute resolution process so business may charge additional fees. I've never had a problem with Stripe in the years I've been using it, other than when some person with too much time on their hands bombarded our payment page and some transactions (tiny amounts) were processed and I didn't get anywhere either technical support.
