They decided to HOLD MY FUNDS to verify my business was valid. Why didn't this happen as part of the onboarding? They held my money for a whole MONTH without a satisfactory explanation and no "go-to" person to answer questions. Hoops after hoop after hoop. Thought I was going to pop an artery and stroke out waiting in limbo this way. It is so amazingly simple and intuitive that I think others should study Stripe's UX. **What do you dislike about Stripe Payments?** Support is very hit or miss, and it is sometimes very hard to get someone to respond quickly. Chat is not always available, so you need to open by email and wait hours - usually until the next day. My guess is they are way understaffed. We have Stripe on a magento platform, with two stores using it. I've had to reach out for support about 4-5 times, once by chat and 4 times by email. On email, sometimes they respond in 12 hours, but I have had days go by with no response during an issue where our payment was completely down because of issues with webhooks. If I could fire them on the spot, I would, but how can you when the software is integrated into your ecommerce site and ERP - it's a project to replace that integration. About 50% of the responses were unhelpful: rep recently responded by restating what I told them and did not bother to look at the account and understand why I reached out. They should have routed me to someone more technical. I responded and restated my question. 12 hours later they respond by saying they will get more technical people and will dive into the scenario, and so we just burned another day.
