Top Rated StreamYard Alternatives
I like the ease of use and setting up of StreamYard to be able to record conversations of either video or audio format as well as being able to multistream to various platforms. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I dislike the general lack of a discounted price for StreamYard partners or atleast when I was part of their partner program. Alot of the pricing plans are beaten out by competitors such as Melon and Restream as well as them offering more features and functionality. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

StreamYard keeps live streaming super easy and professional. I love the intuitiveness of the platform, right from no downloads to direct streaming via your browser. We use it to host webinars with our clients and potential ones, as a lead gen initiative. Being able to customize branding, adding overlays, and inviting guests with only a link has been incredible. It's super reliable, even during multiple streams to different platforms at the same time. From webinars to interviews, StreamYard sends off live events in truly polished, engaging ways. I do find it a bit expensive, especially for smaller teams or businesses just starting out. Given the ease of use, reliability, and professional features that it offers, I think it's worth investing in. It saves so much time and gives great results; hence, it is worth it as far as live streaming is concerned. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I have been using this product for many years and was a big fan. The product is easy to use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The customer experience and customer support have severely deteriorated. Nearly every support ticket response is incorrect or not related to my inquiry or bug report. They used to have chat-based help now it's just poor email support. They changed pricing without allowing users to opt-in and only communicated it once buried in a long email.
I was so loyal that despite the poor experience I have not churned YET.
The product has not been having severe bugs that are not being addressed -- and again support is not understanding.
I suspect they either have poorly implemented AI or their support team is not reading or don't care.
The entire experience has gone downhill after the RingCentral acquisition. VERY sad. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I like the options I have to share my screen, and HOW to share it. I can make my face be super-imposed over the screen, or vice versa. I can be in a box on the side, or in the corner. I can make the screen show up a few different sizes. I get to pick which window online I want to show, I get to decide if I want to show something I have open in my desktop.
It is very intuirive, it is the easiest to use and least buggy platform I have tried.
Any time I wish to shoot a video of myself, with sound and have better footage captured than a selfie video, I go to streamyard. I made a lot of reaction videos with it, and have made a couple of talking head videos. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Honestly, I cannot complain.
Maybe if I wanted to have more people on, it would be problematic if I was not interested in paying to do so.
I have a free account. I could get more features and space if I wanted to, but I have not needed them as yet. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I am an author and editor who uses Streamyard weekly to conduct live panels, news breifs, and interviews with my collegues. The quality of the stream is always clear, and the controls are easy to use, even for some of my technically challeneged guests. I love that Streamyard has so many features ready for me at the click of a button. I can insert a graphic or video that's relevant to our conversation, and I can even change the way the guests are displayed on screen, like zooming into the person who is currently speaking, or allowing all guests to be displayed in a certain order and configuration. Streamyard also integrates nicely to multiple streaming services, not just YouTube. And better yet, not only can you stream to multiple platforms, you can do so all at the same time, so no picking and choosing or hopping from platform to platform, do it all in one go! The downside of Streamyard is that it is difficult for some guests to use if they are on an android phone as Streamyard does not currently have an app for those users. In those cases they have to use a chrome browser and some times even using that, people do get dropped in and out of the stream. This is a feature I would like to see developed. There are many times my guests are traveling and don't have acess to other reliable methods to stream. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I have used StreamYard for a few years now and it is super easy to use and very intuitive Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The price for multiple streams - it seems unfair to charge for additional streams as the technology is the same, but I guess that is how they make their money Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Simplicity. Real ease of use. Anyone can jump on and use it straight away. Affordable packages and great support from their team. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Could do with a StreamDeck integration. Audio mixer and ability to stream portrait video. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Super easy to use. Intuitive UI and even someone who is not well-versed with tech can easily access and operate StreamYard. Very useful for small businesses who need to have frequent video meetings and presentations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Requires a very good internet connection - sometimes that proves to be challenging. The competitors lilke Restream do not require high bandwidth and can operate on a basic internet connection as well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
