I don't like how it auto-updates. If i am scheduled to go live with guests waiting, that's not the time to have an app just decide to do an update. Often those updates require re-setting some preferences. Notify a user that an update is available, but let the user do a stream beforehand, and don't mess up his/her use of the application. Over the previous version (obs studio) streamlabs is a completely rewritten version from the ground up. It is not written in electron and that comes up with more easier plugin development too. However this is not mandantory becausd the software itself features a lot of new features like 1 click go live. Donation, follow and like alerts, ndi support, and a lot of new things.
