I like the variety of custom themes and integrated tools for making a live show. Creating colorful text headers and screen sharing is very beneficial for a show. Would always love more themes!
Having team members with hosting control is helpful
Audio and video recording are great, no issues so far.
Live streaming integration with YouTube is good. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I dislike that there is no space where my co-hosts and I can chat off-stream while we are "live". In order for audio to go through, we need to be "on-screen."
I cannot maintain a "fixed" camera layout with more than two people. If we switch from layout A to B, then back to A, there is a high chance the order of our cameras will be different.
I cannot upload multiple images and display them on the screen in a way similar to "Logos" right now.
I am unable to edit the volume of intros and outros.
Team members/co-hosts cannot upload files. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I love the quality and reliability of the app. I really like the simple intuitive design and the way you can parsonalise the broadcast. I have used other streaming services and none others were so simple to set up. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I don't like the need to every time input the title and details. For Melon to be amazing I would like to save all settings under the design tab. More options of text would be good also x Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The ability to stream to multiple social platforms at once. Melon is a tremendous overall live-streaming software. Very comparable to Stream Yard and some others. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I think they had some minor technical glitches; however their customer support team is very responsive and once you alert them to an issue they work hard and fast to resolve it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Melon has everything you could possibly want for live streaming with ease and the minimum of stress.
With an easy to use interface and multi streaming at the click of a button, Melon is s true one stop shop! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It is hard to find something to dislike about Melon as an amateur user! I am sure there are features that more professional clients will miss and need, but for church live streaming, I can't recommend it enough! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I liked when it worked. I was frustrated all the time when I used Melon. It was always something, the sound (input/output), the connections/disconnections to my social accounts, the scheduled broadcast glitches. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
1. The fact that it launches directly to the broadcast page for everything, regardless of what you plan to do. It should not launch there. it should launch to Settings or something else.
2. Scheduled broadcasts did not always work as expected. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The ability to have automatic intro & outro vids is great. Separate audio and video recording files is the best feature, however. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Melon's inability to give team members the same access to schedule and record/go live without the account "owner" is the ultimate deal breaker for my team and me. It's an unforgivable inconvenience.
I also had issues going live utilizing streamlabs, which was disappointing. Customer service troubleshooting was ultimately not helpful in resolving issues. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Melon is an inexpensive option for recording and streaming but they still offer some great features. It's also easy to use and easy to connect guests. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
One thing I wish it could do different is when playing intros and videos that you've uploaded, you can't talk to your hosts/guests. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
For me it's the ease of use with including guests for recordings along with scheduling streams and having options for almost every social media platform available. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I do wish there was an option for when people join a session for their webcams to automatically be set to 1080p 30 and not at 480p by default. I also wish we had a 1080p 60 option. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It's very easy to setup. Plenty of options for customizing backgrounds and texts. Having people accessing the stream is super easy. Sharing videos and screens is a breeze! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Sometimes has happened that, when I'm setting up the videos for sharing and everything else, I can't share the invitation link and I have to start all over again. Also sometimes when I have 2 cameras, they get mixed up and the names of the cameras are swapped. I really annoys me that, when I put names to the videos I uploaded for sharing in my stream, the last name I put, changes MY name tag. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I love that I can stream to multiple locations at the same time. I like how easy it is to set up broadcasts. I like these features that make it was for me to be a good host: teleprompter, tickers to add links and resources from my video podcast guests. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Sometimes it is hard to find the tool or feature I need when it is located in a submenu. I usually text/chat with help and they are very quick to show me where the feature is located and how to get to it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
