## Storyblok Reviews
  ### 1. Great experience for both devs and content editors

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sebastian G. | Founder, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 07, 2023

**What do you like best about Storyblok?**

The reason Storyblok is my favourite CMS is that it has both a great dev experience as well as content editing experience without making sacrifices when it comes to either. Their support is great as well!

**What do you dislike about Storyblok?**

Sometimes the tutorials for specific frameworks aren't perfect, but it's a minor issue. Other than that, no complaints here.

**What problems is Storyblok solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Allowing for a great content editing experience for non-technical people while still allowing us a lot of flexibility with how we set up and code the frontend. The visual editor is awesome!

  ### 2. Thanks for making CMS development easier :-)

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Hendrik P. | Frontend Developer, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 19, 2024

**What do you like best about Storyblok?**

Compared to many long-established CMS's the development process and configuration is crazy fast.
Especially creating components and their correponding editor views is really fluent.

**What do you dislike about Storyblok?**

Its very important to plan how to structure the content and components in storybook. Otherwise it can get really complex and complicated to do maintenance and also to edit content.
But to be fair, that's the case for any CMS I guess ;-)

**What problems is Storyblok solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It makes it quick and easy to create and maintain components.

  ### 3. Storyblok was very intuative and easy to use.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 14, 2024

**What do you like best about Storyblok?**

Quick and easy to use. Nice layout and hard to make a mistake as the final publish button is on another page. The preview is great too as you can see your updates prior to publishing.

**What do you dislike about Storyblok?**

There could have been a way to download all assets in one go. From what I could see you could only download one file at a time.

**What problems is Storyblok solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Easy for non technical users to use.
Feature rich for more technical users. Easy to figure out how to use it and support were very helpful when stuck.

  ### 4. Storyblok is the final piece of the Jamstack puzzle!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alistair Q. | Head of Web Development, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 04, 2022

**What do you like best about Storyblok?**

It's live preview and customisable Bloks have allowed us to present editors with their content in real-time. The custom field plugin allows developers to create their own integrations in the CMS! Storyblok also compliments Next.js perfectly well and we have the choice to either pull data at build or fetch in real-time giving us the choice of SSG, SSR or ISR.

**What do you dislike about Storyblok?**

Documentation could be more in depth and contain more examples.

**Recommendations to others considering Storyblok:**

If you are looking at JAMStack then Storyblok will provide a fast, reliable and scalable solution for your web build.

**What problems is Storyblok solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The live preview has helped Content Editors deliver reusable content more efficiently and has solved the last issue around which CMS to use with Jamstack. Custom Fields allows us to integrate data from other API's into our content and it

  ### 5. A good CMS that can be used intuitively

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alzbeta K. | Senior Localization Project Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 23, 2024

**What do you like best about Storyblok?**

As a Localization Manager, I appreciate how easily we can categorize all sites and assets based on the language.

**What do you dislike about Storyblok?**

Sometimes there are "weird" markdown issues.

**What problems is Storyblok solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Localizing our website

  ### 6. Storyblok is one of the best CMS's I've used for creating rich content

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mike D. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 30, 2023

**What do you like best about Storyblok?**

Our clients love the live editor, that's been a game changer for us. Also really love how easy it is to add new blocks to content types, and new fields to blocks, I like how you can access that functionaliy directily from story you are currently working on, this saves our developers a lot of time.

**What do you dislike about Storyblok?**

Sometimes it's a little slow to load, lack of utilities and helpers for React/Next.

**What problems is Storyblok solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Quick for our devs to get started on a new project, not having to worry about migrating data or running php/docker locally saves us so much time. Easy to use interface and content/block structure means or devs get familiar with how things work in Storyblok much faster than other CMS's.

  ### 7. Empowering to create dynamic and visually stunning websites with ease.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dimitrios M. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 30, 2023

**What do you like best about Storyblok?**

The modular approach allows for effortless content management, while the visual editor streamlines the process, enabling a dynamic and efficient workflow. Additionally, the robust API support and collaboration features contribute to a smooth and collaborative development experience.

**What do you dislike about Storyblok?**

There are challenges in terms of complexity during initial setup, involving understanding stories, spaces, content types, and API usage. There are also challenges with bulk edits, GraphQL API limitations, and an initially overwhelming interface that hinders the ease of use.

**What problems is Storyblok solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It allows for seamless content management, enabling developers to efficiently organize and update content without compromising website speed. Its modular approach empowers developers to design and structure websites flexibly, ensuring a tailored and efficient architecture that aligns with specific project requirements.

I use Storyblok almost every day, it's really great!
You can preview in real time, the creation of everything feels a lot faster with the layout, and easily integrate and implement a lot of things across multiple projects!

**What do you dislike about Storyblok?**

Would like more flexibility in changing blocks, and more options for image display widths

**What problems is Storyblok solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Constructing our website, it helps me easily list products and artists, and have them all interconnected across lots of pages

  ### 9. Great content management

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed Date:** May 15, 2024

**What do you dislike about Storyblok?**

some times there's bugs but they're normally fixed quick

  ### 10. Storyblok: Seamless Integration, Superior Results

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rafal P. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 22, 2023

**What do you like best about Storyblok?**

Storyblok excels due to its framework-agnostic approach, offering seamless integration with any preferred framework. Whenever I encountered challenges, the proactive Storyblok team was immediately available on Discord to guide me towards a solution. Even as a novice developer, I effortlessly incorporated it into a system tailored for both SvelteKit and Storyblok. I consistently choose Storyblok for my projects, and the positive feedback from clients reinforces this decision. Furthermore, Storyblok is rich in features, boasting an array of data types (bloks) and an expanding suite of integrations, particularly its exemplary image service, which has notably optimized the website sizes I work on. I highly recommend Storyblok for its adaptability, support, and robust feature set.

**What do you dislike about Storyblok?**

I wish storyblok had a more visual approach to sharing blok-schemas across projects. Currently they offer a CLI but the entire approach is relatively hands-on. It's similar to copy and pasting files in a way, and I think this could be achieved with an inbuilt app-like approach of drag and drop.

**What problems is Storyblok solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I aimed to develop a system reminiscent of platforms like Webflow, where options and components are visually driven yet steered by my unique code. Storyblok empowers me to design and replicate a template that seamlessly integrates into every client project. This grants clients the speed and efficiency akin to low-code builders. However, it also provides the flexibility to tailor any specific design or development need. With just the initial version of my system, I'm already thrilled with the outcomes. Achieving such results without Storyblok or spending months crafting a less satisfying experience would be inconceivable.

  ### 11. Works perfectly for code/no-code teams

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Imme S. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 22, 2023

**What do you like best about Storyblok?**

Storyblok works perfectly for our small code/no-code team consisting of a developer and me, a Content Creator and Manager without coding skills.
When we founded our first startup 6 years ago, we started with a self-programmed website and CMS, but that was too time-consuming in the long run. After all, we wanted to advance our own software and not spend the time adjusting our CMS. We tried out different CMS again and again. And then, we found Storyblok and it works perfectly for us.

**What do you dislike about Storyblok?**

The one thing that's not ideal is the asset manager. We upload a lot of pictures for every landing page and every article. It's possible to add many pictures at once and that's great, but then we can't rename the files. In consequence, I do not find them when I want to add them to my page. The workaround is to upload the pictures one by one when working on a particular page.

**What problems is Storyblok solving and how is that benefiting you?**

1.	Rapid Landing Page Creation: The feature stands out the most for me it the fast landing page creation capability. Without writing a single line of code, you can craft captivating landing pages in a matter of minutes. You can easily duplicate content blocks from one page to another.
2.	Multilingual Website Creation Made Simple: We can easily manage our content in different languages within the same interface without coding anything.
3.	Tailwind UI Integration: Based on Storyblok, we built a beautiful website thanks to Tailwind Ui’s stunning design elements. That’s the moment, my developer came in ; )

  ### 12. Storyblok is the perfect entry and master class for headless CMS at the same time.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 06, 2024

**What do you like best about Storyblok?**

Storyblok gives very intuitive Getting Started advise. Every profession working with it reports a good experience. The implementation is easily done aswell, since the SDK is very sophisticated.

**What do you dislike about Storyblok?**

The block library is lacking a visual representation of the content model. I have a visual documentation in a white board application at hand.

**What problems is Storyblok solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Flexibility in size of content, team, needs, budget.

  ### 13. Storyblok Review: Balancing User-Friendliness with Cost Considerations

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Pharmaceuticals | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 03, 2023

**What do you like best about Storyblok?**

As a user of Storyblok, an advanced headless Content Management System, I'm impressed by its user-friendliness and flexibility. I find it exceptionally easy to use, which both my clients and I greatly appreciate. With Storyblok, I now manage multiple websites smoothly and efficiently. The editor is a true boon for my editorial team, thanks to its intuitive interface. For me as a developer, Storyblok also offers numerous valuable resources and a well-thought-out logic, greatly facilitating my work on various projects. This combination of ease of use for editors and powerful tools for developers makes Storyblok an important tool in my daily work.

**What do you dislike about Storyblok?**

While Storyblok offers many advantages, there are some downsides to consider. One significant issue is the cost; it's not a cheap solution. This can be a deterrent, especially for smaller businesses or individual users who are budget-conscious. Additionally, the sales approach can be a bit aggressive, with a persistent push towards the larger, more expensive packages. This can be overwhelming and may not align with the needs or budgets of all customers, leading to a feeling of being pressured to upgrade beyond what is necessary for their specific use case.

**What problems is Storyblok solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Storyblok, as a headless Content Management System (CMS), excels in its ability to efficiently manage content across multiple websites from a single backend. This feature truly capitalizes on its headless nature, allowing for seamless content distribution and updates across various platforms. By centralizing content management, Storyblok eliminates the need for duplicating efforts for each website, leading to a more streamlined and efficient workflow. This approach not only saves time but also ensures consistency in content quality and branding across all digital properties. The flexibility to serve different front-ends while managing content in one place makes Storyblok an ideal choice for businesses looking to maintain a cohesive online presence across multiple sites.

  ### 14. Simplifies content management and website development.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in E-Learning | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 06, 2024

**What do you like best about Storyblok?**

1. Storyblok's customer support deserves commendation for its promptness and effectiveness.
2.The ability to integrate with external APIs is a particularly valuable feature, offering a wide array of possibilities for enhancing functionality and automating processes.

**What do you dislike about Storyblok?**

There are few features that requires improvement, ex: sorting dimensions, merge and override functionality. Also, it's hard to resolve user who published the story it returns unique ID

**What problems is Storyblok solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We relay heavily on content translations and storyblok provides options to use dimesion for each markets and also the option to override and merge has helped our analysts to simply have translation in one market and override on other markets.

  ### 15. Very powerful, but a few limitations

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Brenden N. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 01, 2023

**What do you like best about Storyblok?**

I appreciate Storyblok's strong capabilities in handling large-scale, multilingual projects, which is a significant advantage for content-heavy websites. We use it in all of our projects. Its features, such as the preview and drag-and-drop functionality, are impressive, providing a powerful toolkit for content editors. Storyblok is also commendable for its scalability, efficiently managing thousands of pages. Additionally, the customer support is noteworthy for being fast and friendly, enhancing the overall user experience with the platform.

**What do you dislike about Storyblok?**

Despite its strengths, Storyblok has areas that need improvement. The interface, while intuitive, can be overly complex, leading to confusion, especially for those who may not be as technically inclined. This complexity in Storyblok suggests a need for more streamlined navigation or better guidance. Furthermore, Storyblok's security features, particularly in roles and permissions management, are basic and could benefit from further development. The documentation is solid, but often out of date or hard to search. Also the speed at which Storyblok resolves feature requests and bugs, can sometimes be slower than desired.

**What problems is Storyblok solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Handling large complex and multilanguage websits and scale.

  ### 16. A powerful platform that caters for all needs

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rob K. | Software engineer, Computer Software, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 30, 2023

**What do you like best about Storyblok?**

It's a really flexible, powerful content platform that really allows you to shape your content and then consume it however you wish. It's really easy to get started, has a free 'community tier and integrates really quickly and easily into most UI projects.

I use it daily at the moment and will be using it moving forward for all my client projects where they need a fully-featured, yet flexible CMS solution.

For example, I use Astro and Storyblok integrates in under 5 minutes with no fussing or faffing.

**What do you dislike about Storyblok?**

The built-in datasources could be more useful if they allowed for tiered key relations. For example, if you need something like a country > city relationship using the built-in Storyblok datasources, you'll struggle.

But this isn't a database, it's a CMS. The main blocker sometimes is the pricing. The community (i.e. free) tier is really great and very generous, but after this it's a large jump to the entry level pricing tier. This is oftern overkill for smaller projects or for some clients.

**What problems is Storyblok solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As a Jamstack-oriented web developer, my main focus is on providing great content experiences to clients' end users. One of the best ways to do this is via a platform like Storyblok as it allows clients to focus on their content and allows me to focus on consuming that content using the best technical means appropriate for the project.

  ### 17. Using Storyblok was a game-changer for us, allowing us to build great experiences with ease.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Package/Freight Delivery | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 30, 2023

**What do you like best about Storyblok?**

For starters, its learning curve is initially gentle, allowing users to easily start implementing stuff from the very beginning. However, after using it for some time, you begin to discover the powerful features it offers, expanding the initial possibilities to a new level.

I really liked the navigation approach for creating stories, the available plugins that enhance the capabilities of the system, and the ease of creating new plugins by myself. I also like the easy it is to configure different live preview environments, the webhooks functionality, the many approaches you can follow in regards to internationalisation, the flexibility on how to retrieve the content with its APIs.

I've been instensly developing for customers using Storyblok for the last year, and both my experience and the feedback from my customer's have been great.

**What do you dislike about Storyblok?**

I'd love to have the possibility to define content outside the navigation tree. I don't like stuff like configurations stories to be "using" a route that could be used by the customer, potentially breaking the application. Besides that, I cannot thing of any big issue with it. Of course I'd change some little things, but in the end they are small details that are not affecting the day-to-day development with the platform.

**What problems is Storyblok solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It allows us to develop really fast based on the requirements given by the customer, making it easy for us to show results to the client in just weeks (if not days), and thanks to the live preview, it helps getting our customer feedback very soon, so we can improve our solution together.

  ### 18. One of the most innovative & easy to use CMS in the last 10 years

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 30, 2023

**What do you like best about Storyblok?**

The overall architecture & design of the CMS works flawless. Besides some technolgoical issues in the beginning, the technical integration & project setup worked very well. Also the overall usage inside the CMS and the content editing is simple and fast. Especially for my clients.

**What do you dislike about Storyblok?**

Sometimes i need too "hack around" some of the functionality. But i believe that comes from the architecture itself. Also the documentation regarding specific technologies is a little outdated. Took me some tinkering to get everything working.

**What problems is Storyblok solving and how is that benefiting you?**

First of all the overall headless approach solves the "backend developer problem". Because you can configurate your backend, you really only need the frontend part developed.
Therefore you have huge savings in development & planning time. Also most of the CMS are bound to internal restrictions. Storyblok does barely have any of these restrictions which leads into a lot of flexibility for me as a developer and also for my clients who build pages & modules in the future.

  ### 19. Clean, intuitive, and easy-to-use CMS

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Clémence O. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 15, 2023

**What do you like best about Storyblok?**

Storyblok is a fantastic CMS for Marketing and Content teams. The user interface is clean, very easy to use, and very intuitive. As a Product Designer myself, this is something I particularly appreciate. At the studio, we are big fans of the visual editor as it allows you to see the changes you’re doing in real time. This makes it very easy to build a page, adjust content, visuals, and components to get the exact results you need.

**What do you dislike about Storyblok?**

If you want to build something new on a page that hasn’t been developed (like a new block), you will need additional development support from a frontend developer. On the other hand, this means you are not restricted by any grid or pre-build layout, as you would find in other “web-builder” tool. You can go very custom when designing and developing something.

**What problems is Storyblok solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Storyblok provides a simple solution for our clients, usually non-technical users, such as content writers or digital marketing manager, who needs to build and maintain web pages. Again, the visual editor makes it effortless for them to review the page and see what it would look like exactly when published live.

  ### 20. Visual CMS that clients love

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Design | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 31, 2022

**What do you like best about Storyblok?**

Storyblok is easy to sell to a client because they also provide materials tailored for content editors and marketers people. This set them apart from most CMS that usually focus too much on the developer experience. Apart from that, the king feature is the visual live editor mode. After a quick demo, clients buy the idea quite easy and I can start doing my job.

**What do you dislike about Storyblok?**

I would say that their Graphql feature is a bit disappointing. I started from there but switched to using their own SDK APIs some of the functionalities didn't work as in a 'standard' Graphql API service.

**What problems is Storyblok solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I'm allowing Charites to manage their content and adapt their donations campaigns without needing too regular help from our development team. The visual editor helps them to understand what to do without having any technical background.

  ### 21. Great experience for Devs and Content Editors

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sandeep K. | Director, Product Innovation, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 04, 2022

**What do you like best about Storyblok?**

Storyblok is very flexible in nature and this allows Storyblok to be perfect for lots of use cases. Content types and Nested Components allows complete control over the composition. Along with that Image Service, Management API and Apps are super helpful as well. For content editors, the Live preview helps a lot and they are able to make changes in no time.

**What do you dislike about Storyblok?**

The rate of feedback on Github issues and the feedback community could be increased.

**What problems is Storyblok solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Storyblok is helping us build compositions for any kind, be it Landing pages, website and in CMS as well. Storyblok image service is also amazing to scale assets as per the requirement.

  ### 22. A very powerful headless CMS that enhances our client's digital products.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Martin L. | Senior Software Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 25, 2023

**What do you like best about Storyblok?**

I really like the concept of stories that enables us to bundle domain specific content as a story/unit and just load this data when needed. Moreover, the ability to resolve related Stories helped us a lot by making certain parts of a Story easily replaceable by another Story whenever the client needed to switch to different content triggered by some real world event.
Besides the very nice API, we make use of page previews a lot. Therefore, we use the corresponding JS SDK which works really good and empowers content editors a lot.
The pipeline feature was really helpful to integrate Storyblok with our quality gates.

**What do you dislike about Storyblok?**

I would really love to see some auto translation feature. That would have helped us a lot.
One point that annoyed us on our application side was nestables could only be added in a list of blocks. However, we often faced scenarios where we wanted it to be a single block to in order to get rid of unpacking the singles element out of the array.
Story Previews are very challenging in case of SPAs where multi-step processes need to be put into a single story. We worked around this by structuring the content into stories and resolved them in the parent when loading.
This worked well, however we also face the limitation that the level of nestedness is 2 due to some technical limitations of Storyblok.

**What problems is Storyblok solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Storyblok enables us to make business people translate and kind of shape the content of business processes we put into code for them. Moreover, this content is translated into 16 languages as well.
This empowers non-tech people to alter business processes without developers having to touch the code in any case.

  ### 23. Easy to setup and even easier to use.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ryan F. | Frontend Developer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 28, 2024

**What do you like best about Storyblok?**

The ease of setup with my Astro site and ease of use. They also offer an incredibly generous free tier.

**What do you dislike about Storyblok?**

Some of Storyblok's docs could use some work, and some of their verbiage in their api feels very...proprietary.

**What problems is Storyblok solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is hosting my blogs and associated assets, making it easy to serve those posts to my website.

  ### 24. Great product

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nicolas M. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 14, 2024

**What do you like best about Storyblok?**

Easy and intuitive to use, it helps us to produce our design system without prior training!

**What do you dislike about Storyblok?**

Sometimes the way to navigate between component can be frustrating, and going back and forth without knowing what I am selecting can be a source of mistakes thus waste of time

**What problems is Storyblok solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Not requiring devs to build simple content pages

  ### 25. Storyblok is generally easy to use

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kathryn E. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 30, 2023

**What do you like best about Storyblok?**

It's generally easy to use and I can create and publish a page from start to finish in minutes. I like that there are a couple of steps required before actually publishing a page which removes the worry of accidentally publishing something. There are several options for photo and text displays which I appreciate.

**What do you dislike about Storyblok?**

Since the last update, when you insert a link, it automatically opens that link in the same window. Previously, you had the option to select the same window or a new one.

**What problems is Storyblok solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are able to reliably reach our audience thanks to Storyblok.

  ### 26. The visual editor is a game changer. Great CMS for every kind of project

With Storyblok we are very fast modelling our data objects and creating our ready to use content. Via the content REST API we where able to consume the content instantly during development and of course for production. Features like the webhooks allowed us to integrate a Solr search in our project really fast.

**What do you dislike about Storyblok?**

I miss the possibility to have a select content folders election via a field type. But I'm aware that we can implement this feature as a field type plugin.

**What problems is Storyblok solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Easy way to deliver content for websites and apps.

**What do you like best about Storyblok?**

Simple operation to drag and drop picture or video on the headless CMS module. Easy dashboard design to find related tool to make changes to the content.

**What do you dislike about Storyblok?**

Need more integration option with widgets to add more elements to the website design. I have to manually integrate the elemnent for now.

**What problems is Storyblok solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Solve scalability issue with the content management. Manage content life-cycle. Visual editor has live preview to view the content changes in real-time.

  ### 32. One of the most powerful CMSes out there

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Non-Profit Organization Management | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 09, 2021

**What do you like best about Storyblok?**

The reusability and the design system that Storyblok boasts integrates itself seamlessly into our way of working and our codebase. We've created more than one site using the same library of components and now simply seek improvements to the way that we're working with these components - and the spaces that utilise them. We use Storyblok every day as part of our work, whether it's developing a new feature or just creating a funky new page to show off the art of the possible. It's been so easy to create new content on the site that we find ourselves - even as developers - making fake content pages just to show off the work we've done and what can be acheived with it.

**What do you dislike about Storyblok?**

V2 fixed a lot of the quirks and problems that we'd previously noted. It's a much slicker experience. My least favourite part of Storyblok, however, is how the Releases app seems to be a bolt-on to the content creation process. There are still inherent bugs and quirks with getting it to slot nicely into our spaces. For our teams, it feels absolutely vital, so it'd be nice to see it get more of a focus.

**Recommendations to others considering Storyblok:**

Make sure you have the fundamentals of your framework locked in. It makes getting started a lot easier. Also, the Storyblok Discord is invaluable.

**What problems is Storyblok solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It encourages the creation of reusable components that can be inserted within each other. This aligns with our development principles and ensures that we are not making everything bespoke, saving us time and also allowing the content teams to experiment more with what's available to us. That in turn leaves us with less pressure to guide them design principles.

  ### 33. Storyblok provided an intuitive approach to the world of content management

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Victory T. | Frontend Web Developer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 22, 2023

**What do you like best about Storyblok?**

Among Storyblok's best features are its visual editor, spaces, stories, folder organization system, and workflow setup. It also has active customer support and a large developer community. The documentation is also very well written to cater to developer and non-developer needs.

**What do you dislike about Storyblok?**

The only downside is the unavailability of mutate/write access on its GraphQL API and a slightly steep learning curve in understanding the platform and configuring things like SSL for live preview and other integration.

**What problems is Storyblok solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Storyblok provides a central hub to manage my content, allowing me to define roles that provide certain levels of access to content and also define a creation-to-publishing workflow. It also simplifies the task of content management with its component blocks, and visual editor.

  ### 34. Amazing tool with great possibilities

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Piotr G. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 02, 2024

**What do you like best about Storyblok?**

Ability to build complex templates for my websites with shareable components. It is very easy to implement.

**What do you dislike about Storyblok?**

Nothing from the top of my head. I have to admit I needed a tutorial from that finish dev in order to fully understand how to use Storyblok

**What problems is Storyblok solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Managing content while keeping i18n in check.

  ### 35. Revolutionary!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Events Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 06, 2023

**What do you like best about Storyblok?**

Storyblok is the most intuitive and seamless webste building system I have used to date. The page creation is fast and simple with clear steps to creating an efficient webpage. I largely use the pages to promote events and the layout and set up is always consistant and effective.

**What do you dislike about Storyblok?**

The only thing about Storyblok that I find less then ideal, is the number of steps required to set up certain elements on the pages. The menu navigation can take a bit of getting used to.

**What problems is Storyblok solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are able to promote our gobal event schedule in a consistant and effective manner, to all audiences. Updates and page builds are quick enabling us to keep up with our busy schedule.

  ### 36. it's a very good headless cms

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Pharmaceuticals | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 30, 2023

**What do you like best about Storyblok?**

I like that storyblok has a view-in preview thats built in on the page so i can see what i'm doing already and not have to go to a different tab everytime. It is also Headless which makes it easier to separate frontend and backend activities which is better.

**What do you dislike about Storyblok?**

I really don't like the version 2 at all. The UI changed and it looks more to me like a child's game. every thing is reactive and has this excessive scroll on tap feature. Feels like a game. version 1 was really nice but sometimes you cannot see the text, this only happened after v2 was released.

**What problems is Storyblok solving and how is that benefiting you?**

we use it to manage all the websites in various country affiliates we work with

  ### 37. Working with Storyblok V2.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Apparel & Fashion | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 01, 2022

**What do you like best about Storyblok?**

Easily creating components and implementing it with your React framework. Easy to learn, easy to extend and make more difficult applications. Also, easy to learn it to the content editors.

**What do you dislike about Storyblok?**

The making of plugins is only in Vue, which I do not prefer. Making it able to choose between different libraries/frameworks would improve it. React would be great.

**Recommendations to others considering Storyblok:**

Everything is out of the box, but be aware that plugins can only be written in Vue (current state). Easy to learn though!

**What problems is Storyblok solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Not using hard-to-use SaaS for CMS anymore and have more grip on your data structure. This results in making more in less time! Also, not working with Wordpress anymore.

  ### 38. Great CMS enabling content teams to work autonomously and visually

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 23, 2022

**What do you like best about Storyblok?**

The visual editor is a huge advantage in terms of usability. Especially for pure content creator teams who can directly see what their page will look like. This also enables fast review processes, as everything can be seen at first glance. Also, the onboarding of new users is super easy with the visual editor, because users can directly see how modules and components will look like, interact with each other or how they can be changed by simply trying them out. In general, I have also experienced great and very quick responding customer support.

**What do you dislike about Storyblok?**

The permission management does not yet cover all our needs or is lacking some basic predefined roles such as translators that can only access and change the content within every block but can't change the structure. You can set up the roles yourself but it is not as intuitive to set up as expected.

**What problems is Storyblok solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Storyblok solves the usability problem that many CMS bring with them and at the same time does not limit the flexibility of the setup. It allows not only content teams to use it in a user-friendly way, but also developers to define the set of components and modules.

  ### 39. Storyblok is highly recommended

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Retail | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 25, 2023

**What do you like best about Storyblok?**

I recently had the opportunity to work with Storyblok for an ecommerce product MVP, and I must say that my experience with this platform has been nothing short of fantastic.

Developer-friendly GraphQL API:

The schema is well-documented and easy to understand, making it a breeze to query and manipulate data. I could retrieve exactly the data I needed without any over-fetching, which is crucial for optimizing performance.

Intuitive UI and UX:

Content editors and developers will appreciate the simplicity of the interface, making it easy for non-technical team members to manage content with minimal training. The real-time preview feature significantly streamlines the content creation process. You can see exactly how your content will appear on the live site as you edit it, which is a game-changer for developers working closely with content creators. This results in fewer iterations and a faster development cycle.

Content localization and versioning:

Storyblok's built-in support for content localization is a lifesaver, especially for ecommerce projects targeting international markets. The ability to manage content in multiple languages within the same project simplifies the process of creating a global presence. Furthermore, Storyblok's versioning system ensures that you can track changes, rollback if necessary, and maintain content consistency across various stages of development.

**What do you dislike about Storyblok?**

The GraphQL API documentation is not always up-to-date and this can be improved.

**What problems is Storyblok solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Storyblok simplifies content management for developers and non-technical team members. It streamlines the process of creating, editing, and organizing content, reducing the back-and-forth between developers and content creators.

  ### 40. Awesome tool for rapid marketing teams

**What do you like best about Storyblok?**

Really good and "native" like SDK's with Vue ecosystem. Easy to use for non-technical people.

**What do you dislike about Storyblok?**

UI/UX could be even simpler and faster. App could feel snappier.

**What problems is Storyblok solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Anyone on marketing team can manage our website content

  ### 41. Seamless Headless CMS

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jaswinder S. | Managing Director, Information Technology and Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 11, 2023

**What do you like best about Storyblok?**

The first thing that struck me about Storyblok was its clean and intuitive user interface. Navigating through the platform is a breeze, thanks to its well-thought-out design.

**What do you dislike about Storyblok?**

Currently, there are very limited 3rd party applications available but I would love if they will keep adding more.

**What problems is Storyblok solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Storyblok's architecture is designed for scalability, accommodating projects of varying sizes. Its modular content modeling approach enables users to adapt to changing project requirements without major overhauls.

  ### 42. A very user friendly backend, for great frontend experience

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Christelle D. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 28, 2024

**What do you like best about Storyblok?**

The usability of the backend is very good and helps any user to be able to work efficiently when editing content.

**What do you dislike about Storyblok?**

Nothing very important so far, but I would like to have some more features maybe.

**What problems is Storyblok solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We were searching for a CMS that is quite easy to adapt, easy to use for users and altogether not too expensive. Storyblok seems to be the right tool for this.

  ### 43. Just a great system.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Internet | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 15, 2023

**What do you like best about Storyblok?**

Honestly the best feature of storyblok is the help desk. You can do so much with the whole system and it looks great, but the speed and thoroughness of the help chat on their website makes creating and troubleshooting complex components a lot easier.

**What do you dislike about Storyblok?**

It's a bit of a learning curve and figuring out how your setup is compatible with the headless system and there aren't necessarily comprehensive exemples for every framework.

**What problems is Storyblok solving and how is that benefiting you?**

With the visual editor and easy component creation it's just miles ahead of other systems. It's a lot easier for our clients to be in charge of their own content and change things on the fly.

  ### 44. Live Preview, Custom Fields - Excellent product

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Higher Education | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 30, 2023

**What do you like best about Storyblok?**

The implementation of Storyblok is based around ATOMIC design principles which allows a component first approach and makes it easy to implement. The custom fields plugin which is part of the application allows you to build content from other APIs into the content of your page or Blok and makes it the perfect itegrations addon. Along with the Live Preview for each environment, Test, UAT or Prod, makes this the best in class!

**What do you dislike about Storyblok?**

Some more case studies and code based case studies would be great!

**What problems is Storyblok solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The seperation of the CMS is important to allow frontend developers to keep your website fresh. Storyblok is fast and very scalable!

  ### 45. Great user experience for content editors

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Higher Education | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 26, 2023

**What do you like best about Storyblok?**

StoryBlok previews are great for allowing content editors to see what their pages are going to look like live in the browser. We have easily integrated it into our applications using the GraphQL endpoint. Also a big fan of the image processing power for use n the front end of our applications.

**What do you dislike about Storyblok?**

The GraphQL response can sometimes feel a little bloated and clunky but that could be more to do with the way we have structured our data rather than how it is processed by StoryBlok

**What problems is Storyblok solving and how is that benefiting you?**

StoryBlok is creating a really user friendly platform for our content editors to add pages and components to pages. The UI is slick and intuitive and the headless CMS allows us to use whatever frontend framework we wish to so that we can deliver super fast applications to the browser.

  ### 46. Great application for us to use to design and run our website

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Liam W. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 22, 2023

**What do you like best about Storyblok?**

Most helpful part of Storyblok is the layout and the ease at which we can navigate the back end of the website to make changes shown on the front end

**What do you dislike about Storyblok?**

Sometimes can be tricky importing and uploading assets to the asseet library and then adding them onto a specific page

**What problems is Storyblok solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We had issues with website layout and updates that this has now fixed for us

  ### 47. Easy to integrate CMS, with a lot of collaboration features

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sasan J. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 20, 2023

**What do you like best about Storyblok?**

The live editor, it's easy to understand, the community support

**What do you dislike about Storyblok?**

It's not flexible in terms of having global reusable data. the bloks return an Array even if the min and max is set to 1.
The migration of existing data into a new structure is only possible with the API and it's not user friendly.

**What problems is Storyblok solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Creating a structure for our data. Letting the stakeholder manage the content.

  ### 48. Universal tool for different needs, that can be adjusted for custom applications without CMS

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Airlines/Aviation | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 30, 2023

**What do you like best about Storyblok?**

It's thought trough product, were for a lot of things are covered and from content managment perspective developer doesn't have to create new bicycle.

**What do you dislike about Storyblok?**

Documentation for APIs can be updated and for extensions especialy, better examples could be provided how to create them, because currently DX is not the best. Then again, cool ideas are integrated in Storyblok.

**What problems is Storyblok solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Content creation and its managment for dynamic pages, created on Sb, were content editors can do a lot of stuff with pre-defined components, without developer assistance. Reduces a lot of developer time to assist creating basic landing pages or changing texts.

Speeding up the process of development abd deployment.

  ### 50. Best tool to manage content.
