The support team is amazing! They are quick to reply and super helpful. If you have an issue they will work with you to resolve it. Did I am mention they are very kind and patient?
I love that it's really simple to get started by using markdown. Our customers love the new default styles and it just works out of the box. The best part is that it supports OAS for API documentation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I wish there was a to review my changes before publishing them from the web app.
One great feature is git but it feels difficult to access and use.
The mock serve is another useful feature but there is no way to disable it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Quick to get going with. Having Mock servers available immediately are very useful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Difficult to change specifications from one version of openapi to another. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Independent documentation from the code repository; clear transformation of OpenAPI standard to intuitive forms; possibility to collaborate on the projects and work with many persons at the same time Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Sometimes working at the same time in many persons causes issues with YAML file edition. It happened that we accidentally removed the whole content and freaked out a little bit, but fortunately, it was possible to restore the historical version. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I have had amazing user experience with Stoplight. I began using this tool because I needed the way to design frontend API without developing a real API to work in a team.
It's been really easy to create endpoint and to derails this endpoint. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
A lot of warning/errors that not always correct 💯. Hence leads to slow API documentation generation.
The tech and support team been fabulous and dedicated 24/7. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
We are easy to maintain and reuse the API throughout while project which helps in designing the API quickly and efficiently. We can integrate with any of the front Applications or code base. even if you have created 500 APIs the application never gets slowed down. The Support staff is very responsive. There are fewer users so if you are a beginner then you might face issues as there is very less community buildup. Even the documentation provide by the doc prep team is quite less. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Great to design and test APIs, also to share with friends. Very easy to use. Our team like to use. UI is polished and easy to use too. Support many formats, incoming and outgoing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It's a great tool, if not one of the best ones. Don't have anything that would share as dislike. Just keep the tool as it's. Simple is always the best path forward. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

You can implement it easily with postman, GitLab, and in general, the UI it's friendly and easy to use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
That if you are working in the editor's user, you can't see how the nonuser's going to see the projects Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We can collaborate with Stoplight as a team while working on large API programs. It's easy to track API changes, manage dependencies and share them as well. You get a personalized view while performing every role with granted specified permissions so that working as a team has few tussles on tasks. Stoplight has several API design tools to produce outstanding API designs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I have very little to say on this subject. I'd probably highlight the bugs in the software resulting in inconveniencing downtimes. I've always had a hard time splitting OpenAPI documents into multiple files and the in-software documentation recommendations have been of little help. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Stoplight has the only GUI for editing OpenAPI docs that I am aware of. This feature alone makes Stoplight invaluable. Stoplight fills our need for designing APIs and creating API documentation quickly and efficiently. Their GUI is very well designed and user-friendly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Unfortunately, as of this writing, Git integration isn't available for all repository hosts. But this isn't a dealbreaker. (Branches/versions are still available even w/o integrating into an existing repo.) Stoplight isn't an all-in-one API development tool (there aren't any I'm aware of); you'll still want a manual testing tool (Postman, Insomnia, etc.). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
My favorite part of the Stoplight platform is the visual form-based OAS spec editor. This takes a lot of the pain out of authoring these immense JSON/YAML structured text files. The ability to reference models with a couple clicks of a mouse is quite valuable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The stoplight platform itself used to be more feature-rich than it currently is now... Not quite sure what happened but they have basically built the platform from scratch three times now. The pricing is unsettlingly disconnected from the value provided relative to other SaaS tools, especially for view-only users. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
