What do you like best about Stellar Data Recovery Professional?

The GUi is intuitive, user-friendly and provides the tools and options to search and recover data you thought may be lost due to Windows not recognizing the drive, or portions of the drive being corrupted. The deep scan option often brings back additional data you may not have realized was lost or knew you wanted/needed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Stellar Data Recovery Professional?

Overall there isn't much not too like, other than it does have difficulty at times recognizing a drive connected via USB that other recovery software can see and access. it's also a bit slow at scanning the drives, but when dealing with 1+ TB size drives, that is understandable. What problems is Stellar Data Recovery Professional solving and how is that benefiting you?

I've used Stellar at different companies I have worked for, including one of the earliest versions called Stellar Phoenix in the early 2000's. Stell has many times allowed us to recover business critical data internally thereby saving hundreds if not thousands of dollars by not sending the drive to a third party for attempted data recovery. It also allows us to keep that data internal, so the security risk is minimized and that is helpful when dealing with business critical, PHI and HIPAA data. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
