Statsig is a very powerful tool for collecting metrics necessary to make informed decisions having to do with A/b testing. It had pretty much everything you would need from an analytics suite as well - our team finds it much easier to build dashboards and pull information from than something liek google analytics.
Support is top notch and the discord channel is very active. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It would be nice if event properties could be arrays/objects, right now we're stuck with strings/integers - so if we wanted to return more complex properties to the event it limited.
I get around this by passing back json strings and then filter with string contains. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It needs to improve the details of how to do the integration, including some sample codes and making it clearer how the logs part works, separated from the development and production environments.
In addition to recommendations or tips on how to create logs focused on user journeys. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
So far, it's been difficult to learn without having to consult the documentation, so that it's not a very technical tool. We're migrating from Mixpanel, and there it's a certain ease of doing things that we haven't found yet in this migration. But there could be an examples tab or something like that, without having to leave the dashboard and that would be quick to consult, like short videos. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Statsig was very easy for my team to transition to from our old experiment platform, and the transition was immediately worth it as I was blown away by the performance increases, both in the user interface and in how quickly exposures were resolved. The user interface is beautiful and makes me look forward to setting up and checking the status of my experiments, and some of the easter eggs like the musical graphs feature show how much attention to detail the team has spent on making this the friendliest possible dashboard. It is easy for me to set up experiments and feature gates on their portal, as well as easy to implement them in my codebase. I find myself using Statsig as often as I can now. Even though the transition was easy, there were some things that took getting used to when coming from our old experiment platform, and we needed to deal with some quirks during the transition time when we were using two experiment platforms at the same time as we were transitioning. As a client developer, StatSig is very intuitive to use, reducing a lot of the boilerplate set up with experiment templates. My favorite feature is the ease of overriding experiment assignments for bug bashing across multiple environments. This has definitely increased our velocity when testing and shipping experiments. One area of improvement would be the user interface for reviewing / approving changes to experiments. There have been some changes made to this recently, so it's nice to see that this is an area of focus for the team at StatSig. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Our team absolutely loves Statsig. Prior to Statsig we had to custom implement feature flags, interpret product analytics, and argue about whether a change was working or not. With Statsig we can be completely data driven by quickly spinning up an experiment and receiving clear and objective results. We also now have fine grained control over what users see in our app, whether it's through and experiment or a feature flag. Another great thing about the feature flags is they are free!
I can't imagine going back to a world without Statsig! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
While I'm sure this is a hard thing to solve, if there is any detected bias in an experiment it's hard to determine exactly why bias was detected and what to do about it. That being said, it's great that Statsig is able to detect experiment issues. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

- The support is really helpful. They have an AI bot backed by real folks, and I've always had my questions answered pretty quickly
- The SDKs let us do a lot of stuff beyond just the standard frontend experiments. Right now we're using the Python SDK to gather events from our infra and correlate that with users on the frontend
- The Pulse results are easy to read and interpret Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
- Some of the experiment setup with groups, overrides and segments can be tricky, but support is readily available
- The connection between events and metrics has a learning curve. Figuring out the best way to create metrics that capture what we want took some time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Statsig doesn't try to do everything, it's focused at statistical testing (A/B tests, flags, etc) with a solid engine that lets you focus on interpreting the results. It wasn't difficult to set up and integrate with own datawarehouse, which is a must if you have customer-specific personally identifiable information that has to be kept in-house.
Technical support is stellar. The team is fast in answering our questions and clarifications. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There are some design decisions regarding the SDKs or the data ingestion process that we had to work around, but they were a minor hurdle. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

There's no compromise in the platform, you can get everything you would expect from an in-house experimentation platform, and more, without the hassle of building it.
We launched the first experiment in 1 week and started getting results immediately.
Also, it pairs well with the existing poduct analytics platform that we use, Amplitude. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Unfortunately, product analytics is not yet on par with the competition. However, it pairs well with them. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Statsig has a very generous free tier with access to a wide range of features. It is very easy to use for our developers and non-developers alike. The integration with our stack of React and Node.js is realy smooth. We use it constantly to deploy new features to our customers in a safe way with feature flags. I'm pretty satifsfied with the product, however I think their analytics solutions still misses some features that are present in more mature products, but it's overall a great product. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
From the beginning, we were surprised by the great support. They are open to feedback and solve our requests in a timely manner. Also, the platform was great and easy to use for creating A/B tests and feature gates. Last but not least, the integration was smooth thanks to a compressive SDK and the support that they provided us. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The only thing I miss is the possibility of seeing the metrics' statistics faster when the experiments or the feature gates are launched. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
