Very easy to create custom metrics. I wish we were able to backfill them though, I'm not sure why we can't.
Great and responsive customer service. Great pieces of the tool for clustering and hold out groups. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It probably needs a bit more onboarding for a team that doesn't have experimentation experience. The tools aren't super intuitive. A big question in experimentation is picking a big enough sample and the tool takes that for granted.
Some features like funneling and aggregated metrics are lackluster. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The team is top-notch and incredibly responsive/helpful. They are very agile, execution-oriented, and genuinely care/listen to users/customers. I've engaged in multiple conversations with the team with ideas to address various pain points and leave the talks with even better solutions that we have come up with together. From an administrative perspective, the deduplication logic is difficult to understand and opaque, and it is really easy for a team to blow through quota accidentally.
From a technical perspective, the architecture is fantastic for handling scale and any potential outages of Statsig once the SDK has been initialized but the recommended bootstrapping method to handle any issues pulling initial rules from Statsig servers during the SDK initialization is not ideal. I don't know what Statsig can do about this, though, seeing as how all tools of this nature run into similar issues and handling these error cases are not exclusive to Statsig. Statsig is easy to use. It is also super easy to provide feedback and get in touch with their support teams to explain features to us. Compared to competitors, they have pretty much the same features (if not more) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Many features are still under development, but their team is actively working on improving and pushing to deliver these features quickly. There were some features that were very limiting, that we had to ask their support team to override. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The integration was super easy.
The documentation is very clear and helpful.
Defining a new flag with rules is very straightforward.
Very easy to send user custon properties. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I think it is a very good product.
However, I found it a bit unclear how you should actually turn on/off a feature flag, whereas there are many options (launch/disable, disable a rule etc.) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
You can tell that StatSig is a tool built by qualified data scientists and engineers - it is intuitive, developer friendly and easy to implement. The help service is also incredible, with the support team just a slack away. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Some of the downsides of StatSig is almost that it gives too much, and is too data forward; sometimes feels that a statistics degree is needed to read a few of those charts. There are a few helpful tools to decipher but having a lite result version would be helpful! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Nearly every time I log into Statsig, there are new features to play with. Also, if there are any issues with the SDK or general product usage, the Statsig support team in the slack channel quickly responds. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Some of the SDKs (my team uses Python and React) have occasional rough edges, and the documentation page can lag behind some of the newer features. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The platform is simple to use and implement into our products. It provides powerful testing solutions that have improved our core business metrics. The ease of use and analysis is unmatched by existing solutions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Documentation is lacking in some places, such as for backend implementation. Composite metrics and global outlier configs are not available. The ability to ban users by UID/IP is not available. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

My team has been using Statsig for over a year now and we find it's such an easy way to run A/B tests. It's efficient for both product and eng and super simple to ship the winning version. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Nothing! I've been super happy with using Statsig and would recommend it to anyone in the industry. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Statsig has been a great alternative to Firebase Remote Config. We had issues with real-time access to feature gates, particularly when it came to operating at app start up, and Statsig has been much quicker and effective. I know Firebase has had some updates recently, but the wealth of features Statsig offers, as well as its intelligence and accuracy for A/B testing results, makes it well worth the switch! The learning curve is steeper than Firebase, but it's worth it due to the accuracy and broader set of features you can access. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Statsig checked all my requirements when evaluating it. It has good documentation, many SDK options, and a clean dashboard UX. From my experience, they blow the competition out of the water. The best part is an entirely self-serve signup process without the need to talk to sales reps or sign enterprise contracts. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The 24-hour delay on archival and deleting of custom metrics can be a pain when setting up new projects, especially since many metrics are not editable after creation and names are checked for uniqueness. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
