Having personal trading, outside activities, gifts & entertainment, political contributions, and attestations in one system, combined with configurable workflows for pre-clearance and disclosures, makes the process far more consistent and audit-ready. It has meaningfully reduced manual follow-up and allowed us to focus more on reviewing risk rather than chasing submissions, while the reporting and dashboards give a clearer, more consolidated view of employee activity. **What do you dislike about StarCompliance?** StarCompliance is a very comprehensive platform, and that breadth is a strength, but at times it can feel like the product is expanding quickly with new modules and capabilities. As a result, some existing workflows could be further streamlined to reduce friction and improve the overall user experience. Separately, report creation can still require some manual effort to tailor outputs to specific needs. That said, this is clearly an area of active investment, and the newer Analytics offering is a positive step forward - continued enhancements there would meaningfully improve efficiency and make it easier to extract insights without additional work. **What problems is StarCompliance solving and how is that benefiting you?** We historically struggled with fragmented and manual processes for managing employee compliance; personal trading approvals, disclosures, and attestations were tracked across spreadsheets and email, which made it difficult to maintain consistency and a clear audit trail. With StarCompliance, these workflows are centralized and automated, so requests are submitted, routed, and recorded in a standardized way. This has significantly reduced manual follow-up and improved audit readiness by ensuring all activity is documented and easy to evidence. As a result, the compliance team spends less time on administrative tasks (e.g., chasing submissions or reconciling data) and more time reviewing actual risk. We also have better visibility into employee activity through consolidated reporting, which allows us to identify issues more quickly and manage compliance in a more proactive, scalable way. ### 2. The support staff are knowledgeable and pleasant, and they seem genuinely committed to continuous improvement and to integrating new modules. **What do you dislike about StarCompliance?** Baseline reporting could use an update without requiring me to pay for additional modules. Right now, the reporting process feels very manual and takes more effort than it should. **What problems is StarCompliance solving and how is that benefiting you?** RegStarCompliance helps us manage regulatory requirements more efficiently. As a result, we can focus on finding ways to improve our processes instead of constantly reacting to issues as they come up. ### 3. Due to business reasons, we needed to cancel our subscription. Despite informing them after receiving our annual invoice on December 2nd, they are insisting we pay for the entire 2025 year because we missed the cancellation deadline of November 1, 2024, as per our agreement. This shows a lack of goodwill from the company. **What problems is StarCompliance solving and how is that benefiting you?** It saved us time looking up political contribution via various websites. ### 4. Cost is better than our previous reporting software **What do you dislike about StarCompliance?** I have no complaints about the product. I am 100 percent satisfied with CaseTrac. We have very few ethics complaints and do not require a complex program. **Recommendations to others considering StarCompliance:** We are a small business and CaseTrac has everything we need to meet our anonymous reporting objectives. I am 100% satisfied with the level of service and professionalism of the folks at ethix360 and I am glad we made the change to their software from our former ethics reporting software, It is a much greater value. **What problems is StarCompliance solving and how is that benefiting you?** We got this product to replace another anonymous reporting program.
