  ### 5. Great UI, Organized, Lacking for Ads, Quirky File system

**Rating:** 2.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Manufacturing | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 19, 2024

**What do you like best about Stackline?**

Clean UI
Easy to digest data
Crips product images
Graphs galore
Excellent way to view the catalog to take action on
Easy to implement rules, but all are just 1x a day functions
Customer Support exists, sure
Ease of Integration - If there is API, then it can be done
Easy to identify keywords
Crawls for reviews

**What do you dislike about Stackline?**

Not Intutive (Not much flags of details on specific pages, a lot of guess on reports and what it can do)
Downloaded files are all at a default name, you have to rename it yourself
Ads system counter intuitive as we never seen it work, they have absurd requirements for it to actuate
If you set your own rules, it will cause ads auto bid system to not ever run because it has some unknown requirements on their UI, felt like a black box
Ads budget - It loves to toss budget around, you have to make min budget is set or campaigns will end up with $1 daily budget - HAVE TO ENTER EACH campaign to set, no way to bulk
No control over keywords
Have to login each suit in t heir system - not efficient
Low refresh rates to sync system, weekly, daily - no real time
The above will not work during tent pole events, where system needs to constantly refresh to be competitive
Content score inconsistent between their two systems
Customer Support never delivered the file they promised
Frequency of use - Ads team attempted to purely rely on system, but not syncing real time was not efficient

**What problems is Stackline solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Helped provide a clean easy visualize catalog
Showed us:
What is working
What is not working
What is trending

  ### 6. Great experience for Ads and copy enhacement

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Melanie C. | Marketing and PR specialist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 27, 2024

**What do you like best about Stackline?**

What I like best about Stackline is the keyword search functionality and the ability to check competitors. These features give me valuable insights into market trends and help me stay ahead of the competition

**What do you dislike about Stackline?**

One thing I dislike about Stackline is that the training sessions are quite long, and the platform has so many features that it can be difficult to understand and navigate them all effectively.

**What problems is Stackline solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Stackline helps solve the challenge of understanding market trends and staying competitive by providing detailed keyword searches and competitor analysis. These tools benefit me by giving me the insights I need to make informed decisions, optimize my strategies, and ultimately drive better results for my business.

  ### 7. A Leader in Directional Marketplace (IE: Amazon) Intelligence, Market Share, Competition

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Matt K. | Vice President of Digital Commerce, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 28, 2024

**What do you like best about Stackline?**

From my experience, although there are a few new competitors coming into the spacer ecently, Stackline continues to be the leader in providing directional (not exact) comprehensive market intelligence around sales, advertising, traffic, for new and existing products on key marketplaces (ie: Amazon specifically). The ability to group multiple different categories and sectors to review and stay up-to-date on what is happening in a market of interest is incredibly valueable and I believe Stackline does this well. If you also lack robust analytics for marketplaces (ie: Amazon), they also can provide you as a part of the service suit this ability in a fairly easy implementation.

**What do you dislike about Stackline?**

1. Data being aggregated to the highest-level (parent relationship) and not at the child-level has been the biggest challenge.
2. Stackline does it's best to keep products categorized in consistent taxonomies, but it does change from time to time in accordance with a certain retailers changes. One must stay on top of these changes to ensure metrics stay aligned.
3. Transparency on pricing tiers across categories/subcategories being covered
4. The UI takes a little bit to get used to... Ask questions and once you learn how to use, you're golden.

**What problems is Stackline solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Provides greater visibility into the size of market and how our competitors are directionally performaing in comparison to our business. It's the closest to Circana (NPD) data which much greater granularity for the eCommerce.

  ### 8. The best market-intelligence tool for E-Commerce operation

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Hardware | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 24, 2023

Stackline provides our team with real-time data and insights that enable our team to make informed decisions, understand market trends, and track the performance of products and brands. Stackline's user-friendly interface and the ability to customize reports make it a valuable asset for optimizing our e-commerce strategies. We have been provided with excellent Customer Support since the beginning, many thanks to Valentin!

**What do you dislike about Stackline?**

It's been a great experience with Stackline. Probably would suggest slight improvement regarding the user interface, especially related to the download section.

**What problems is Stackline solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Firstly, it provides us with real-time data and insights into the e-commerce market, This has proven invaluable in a dynamic industry.
Secondly, Stackline streamlines the process of tracking product and brand performance across various e-commerce platforms, saving us time and effort.
Additionally, its ability to generate customizable reports helps us analyze the data that's most relevant to our business, making decision-making more efficient and effective.
Ultimately, Stackline's solution has resulted in better-informed decisions, improved market positioning, and increased competitiveness, which has had a positive impact on our overall business performance.

  ### 9. Good Customer Support but Needs Improvement in Data Accuracy

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Munetake Y. | EC marketer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 27, 2024

**What do you like best about Stackline?**

What I like most about Stackline is their excellent customer support. The sales team responds quickly and provides detailed answers to my questions. The platform itself is easy to use once you get accustomed to the UI. The ease of implementation was particularly impressive—it was a simple and straightforward process. I use the platform once a week, and overall, the ease of integration has been fine.

**What do you dislike about Stackline?**

While the platform is easy to implement, integrates fine, and has enough features for our use, the accuracy of their data collection needs improvement. Specifically, the Atlas data does not consistently align with our Amazon Vendor Central data, and their categorization includes many unrelated ASINs. Although we use the platform once a week, these issues limit its reliability and are areas that should be improved for better performance.

**What problems is Stackline solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Stackline helps us measure the Amazon market share of our category since we don't have complete data for it.

**What do you like best about Stackline?**

The team! Our account team is so responsive and brings us lots of interesting value-add insights.

**What do you dislike about Stackline?**

While I find the Atlas tool easy to use, it might be slightly intimidating for people less familiar with data. It also seemed to be quite complex to set up Beacon but I think that was more on Amazon's side than Stackline.

**What problems is Stackline solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Understanding our market share performance, drivers & drainers of performance, and competitor activity.

  ### 35. Good!

There is a wealth of information available and the user interface makes it easy to find specific nuggets. The team helps to ensure that it is actionable.

**What do you dislike about Stackline?**

There is so much data that one can easily get lost! There aren't enough hours in a day to learn everything that is possible.

**What problems is Stackline solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Stackline gives us visibility to our Amazon business and allows us to understand our role in the category.

  ### 37. Top Notch technology and experienced consultant

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Consumer Goods | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 19, 2024

**What do you like best about Stackline?**

1.Expertise of Amazon's vendor portal and some internal process 2. Great reporting and deep analysis 3. Knowledgable consultants.

**What do you dislike about Stackline?**

I dont have any so far. The only concern I have is just the retail data is not on daily basis and not capture its original order date which make the evaluation of big event's performance a bit difficult.

**What problems is Stackline solving and how is that benefiting you?**

helping to unpack all hidden info about shortage.

  ### 38. Effective and very interactive data analytic tool

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Estefen Ariel L. | E- Commerce Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 25, 2023

**What do you like best about Stackline?**

The ability to fully segment out the competition or the entire market on a phrase match, exact match string or more based on your needs.

**What do you dislike about Stackline?**

The category naming - Terminology and how its different then Amazon.

**What problems is Stackline solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Everything from market share analysis, traffic on a brand to none brand level, competitor CPC on top terms, and growth of potential future product lines that need to be developed.

  ### 39. Data driven insights

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Varun K. | Media manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 27, 2024

**What do you like best about Stackline?**

The accuracy of data provided on stackline is simply too good. Such data is critical in understanding consumer behaviour and analysing competition strategies. Highly recommended to drive business growth and better e commerce visibility.

**What do you dislike about Stackline?**

The date ranges we select are by each week. Would've been helpful if it can be toggled by each day.

**What problems is Stackline solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Competition analysis and category trends data that isn't provided by Amazon

  ### 40. The user navigation is a little tricky. Hard to understand how to filter the analytics.

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jen M. | Manager, Marcomm, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 27, 2024

**What do you like best about Stackline?**

I like how it shows the competition's activity. We use it frequently to see the change in behavior. I also like how it shows the the decrease or increase of customer behaviors.

**What do you dislike about Stackline?**

The navigation and filters. I do not think it's super easy to use in that respect.

**What problems is Stackline solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Helping us understand how to increase our content scores and work against the competition on Amazon.

  ### 41. Some features are good, others are outstanding

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kaleb L. | Performance Marketing Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 24, 2023

**What do you like best about Stackline?**

Stackline's Atlas data has enabled us to create much better decisions and analysis against competition on Amazon. We have been able to successfully pivot our content, advertising, and expand our catalog more effectively.

**What do you dislike about Stackline?**

We've had some issues with the budgets tracking correctly in Drive, it consistenly has wanted and tried to overspend. There is not a way to intentionally lower CPC with the automation but must be done through layering scheduled actions. The process is fine but setting target CPCs would be very effective for us.

**What problems is Stackline solving and how is that benefiting you?**

-Competitor intelligence
-Responding to changes on the platform
-Increased advertising effeciency

  ### 42. Valuable data and insights

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Joanne N. | eCommerce Account Manager-HBAC, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 21, 2024

**What do you like best about Stackline?**

The Stackline platform is a great data tool to understand consumer trends, traffic, and sales. It allows my team to be proactive to the market and gain competitive insights.

**What do you dislike about Stackline?**

While I realize collecting 3P data can be complex on Amazon it would be nice if the data was more accurate, given the fluctuations in 3P share it's hard to determine what percent is 1P vs 3P sales.

**What problems is Stackline solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Stackline provides a 360 view to sales drivers, gaining insight into sales trends and promotions that are on Amazon.com. It also gives us insight to emerging brands so we can proactively react and add to our assortment if necessary.

  ### 43. Valuable tool

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Retail | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 19, 2024

**What do you like best about Stackline?**

Stackline provides powerful insights into our sales, and marketing metrics. The platforms data has helped our team better understand our brand performance.

**What do you dislike about Stackline?**

The weekly data delay for traffic insights. I wish I could see more realtime data.

**What problems is Stackline solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Stackline helps us understand where our search volume is going between Google and Amazon.

  ### 44. Stackline helps our small team obtain insights and deploy easily! Do more with less.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Katie N. | Director of Marketing & Ecommerce, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 13, 2024

**What do you like best about Stackline?**

Stackline is simple to use, and presents a lot of data in a simplistic format.
While there is a small learning curve, it is easy to get started. Our team had no challenges getting up and running in a matter of weeks. The implementation was easy with a little bit of planning, the customer support has been very good; they have stuck with us for all of our tough questions. We use the system everyday to check up on our campaigns. Stackline makes it easy to manage many campaigns across categories at the same time. There were a few minor issues that were worked out right away, and the bots have been working for us for over a year now! We are believers

**What do you dislike about Stackline?**

The interface is so very clean that one can drill down several levels and forget where you are. The pages look very similar to each other.

**What problems is Stackline solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Stackline offers competative intelligence across our categories in real time. It gives us performance insights about our competitors that we can't get anyplace else.

  ### 45. A lifesaving tool for both management of Ad spend and reporting to users within our company.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Daniel D. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 13, 2024

**What do you like best about Stackline?**

Stackline has truly become a swiss army knife for our Amazon 1P buisness. We are a small Toys and Game company (specializing in Puzzles and Games) and we list a robust catalog (primarily of Child ASINs on Amazon). We have a keyword and product targeting ad strategy that requires a lot of setup time to make possible. Stackline allows us to seemlessly adjust our bidding strategy (in real time) and gives suggestions on the best keywords to use (and sometimes discontinue using). Stackline's technical support is responsive (usually getting me an answer within a few hours) and the online training and guidance is both informative and intuitive to search and implement.

**What do you dislike about Stackline?**

As a 1P vendor we have to apply some internal logic (within our database driven systems not connected with Stackline) in order to convert a target from a "3P Target" to a "1P Target." If there was a tool that would track and do this for us (in real time like the automated bidding tool), that would take some manual work off our collective plates.

**What problems is Stackline solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is easy to buid out A-B Testing through Stackline's automated bidding and reporting tools. We are constantly monitoring what is working and what is not.

  ### 46. Stackline makes my job easier!

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Consumer Goods | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 27, 2024

**What do you like best about Stackline?**

The Stackline UI is incredibly powerful and unique. I am able to take screenshots directly from the platform with out having to export anything. Stackline also has the ability for us to create a customized hierarchy to view the categories as we want to internally. Lastly, the reliability of their data and support from the team we have recieved is top notch.

**What do you dislike about Stackline?**

The inability to distinguish between 1P and 3P sales for the category and competitors. I know this is in the works, but something our company really would find helpful when looking at market share and competition within the category.

**What problems is Stackline solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Stackline is allowing us to view market share and understand what our competitiors are doing, and how they are winning on Amazon.

  ### 47. Data I trust

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Bethany S. | Account Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 27, 2024

**What do you like best about Stackline?**

I trust the data I get from Stackline and know it's not going to change significantly if I need to re-pull data. It's easy to use and understand.

**What do you dislike about Stackline?**

I would like to see more reporting options/graph creation options.

**What problems is Stackline solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Clear and reliable market segment data.

  ### 48. I have been using Stackline for 18 months now and it doesn't take much time to get used to it

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ameer K. | Sr. Media Executive, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 28, 2024

**What do you like best about Stackline?**

Data is very accurate. easy to use and self-explanatory and no. of features

**What do you dislike about Stackline?**

Takes to much time to load pages and we can use only one slide at a time

**What problems is Stackline solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is helping in saving much time and data efficiency to above average

  ### 49. The only accurate syndicated database for Amazon Data

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Taman Deep Singh B. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 27, 2024

**What do you like best about Stackline?**

The category sizing and competition data is pretty accurate, I know this cause I have worked with Amazon for several years and different data points (only shareable ones) that Amazon teams have shared with me are very close to what I see on Stackline.

**What do you dislike about Stackline?**

The mismapping of ASINs, in categories sometimes leads to inaccurate category sizing. Our own ASINs which have existed on Amazon for a while all of sudden disappear from stackline reporting.
Customer support can be extremely tardy.

**What problems is Stackline solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Most of the time revenue is only a partial indicator of performance, particularly in mature, saturated categories. Stackline continuously feeds market intelligence for a brand to understand it's relative market standing which can inform business decision making like whether we need to dial up our marketing spends or increase promotions.

  ### 50. In my short experience with it, the tool has been a great addition for insights into Amazon.

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Derrick M. | Senior Media Planner, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 30, 2024

**What do you like best about Stackline?**

PPC data for Amazon, specifically 1st and 3rd party sales data and product data.

**What do you dislike about Stackline?**

It's somewhat hard to navigate and segment for specific channels, like paid or organic. I know there are set menus for each, but it would be nice to see breakdowns of the data while being able to remove other channels from the view.

**What problems is Stackline solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We originally didn't have a view of 1st and 3rd party sales on Amazon and now we have some idea of how were doing segment by segment.
