Stellar customer service from Jeff. My issue (though self-inflicted) was promptly taken care of. Was worried that my work would be delayed by days of waiting for a fix (bought wrong kind of certificate), but even though the issue took some digging into, it was solved in just couple of hours.

The administration UI could use a little facelift and modernization. Doesn't affect the usability though.

Well priced code signing certificates , validation process was fast ,the ai on their website is helpfull, and you have the option to be transfered to an agent incase you need something very specific , their support is always available , 10/10

I needed some assistance putting together a signing command after purchasing an updated cert - Allen jumped right on it and helped me until it was fixed.  Very good support

no problems with this website. This field needs a minimum character limit

Allen helped me troubleshoot and resolve an error I was facing when trying to sign a document.  He followed up and communicated until the issue was solved

I order code sicning certificate. Last time with different company 10 years ago took a week to get all in order. With ssl.com just a few hours and all was ok.
When installing and start using, I got lost in all info. But got help from Crisanto, nice to get support from someone really knowing what they are doing.

So far nothing really, except with all info its easy to get lost.

The code signing Windows application by SSL.com seems to be outdated and not supported on Windows 11  (tested yearly this year).

even during the registration process for our certificate, if something was unclear, you are just 1 Email await from great service.

Very short wait time for live chat support on two occations the respondees,  Russel and Carlo Luigie respectively, had competent and timely answers to technial questions. All issues solved within half an hour from initiating the chat.

I can not find positive things in the work of this organization, I recommend it to anyone who loves trouble and wants to be left without a certificate

I do not recommend using the services, I could not renew the certificate, without explaining the reasons, the support did not answer anything, a complete ignore. If you do not want to get problems in the future, it is better to use the services of other companies.

Small indie business, which I like supporting. But not when they are borderline-fraudulent and make money by making customers contact them multiple times to stop getting billed

You can get a free SSL cert from your public cloud host (ex AWS). I like supporting small businesses like this. But this is insanity.

**What do you dislike about SSL.com?**

You cannot disable automatic renewal or remove your CC from their billing. When I contacted them to request that my account NOT get automatically renewed, the customer service rep assured me he'll take care of it.

A couple months later, I find I was automatically charged again.

I have screenshots of the chat with the customer service rep (who I will not call out by name). I saved those screenshots because I got some red flags that this was a shady operation. And it turned out I was right.

Maybe they are incompetent. Maybe they are nefarious. Can't tell. Regardless, I had to contact them a 2nd time to get them to stop charging me. And I have a feeling I'll get charged again for my other domains on this service.

I was trying to sign EV cert for kernel mode driver. Microsoft has changed the process to control the root signing. Both Quentin Boyer and Charley has really gone out of the way to help me through the process.

I work for a subsidiary of Verizon (Skyward) working on a product that has some unusual but strict x509 requirements (full ECC chain). I've reached out to a number of companies to find out if certificates can be provided, but Quentin Boyer from support has been the most responsive and helpful from all the other competitors I found that have ECC roots in common distribution.  Between that, and ACME support, SSL.com is making it an easy choice for us.  Thanks!

Also, the knowledgebase articles detailing ECC x509 are very thoughtful and comprehensive - we link them in our internal documentation.

I needed assistance on the code signing certificate I generated from your site.  Support at SSL.com is fantastic.  I hope I get to work with Bradley again.  I appreciate great assistance, patience and most of a courteous representative!

I would prefer a more beginner friendly site. It feels rather cryptic and 2000's in its looks.

You do need to know exactly what you are doing. It isn't noob friendly.

Their support for using existing Yubikey tokens with attestation certificates.

**What do you dislike about SSL.com?**

Slow to respond, chat not helpful. Wish the validation process was faster. I submitted DUNS number, with ID, company papers, and photo (everything they asked). Was told to wait 2-3 days but been waiting for almost two weeks.

**Recommendations to others considering SSL.com:**

Other providers might be a lot faster to validate. SSL.com has good documentation and technical support, but the rest of their services, such as validations, are very slow.

**What problems is SSL.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Tried the service for digital signatures, paid the whole price which is quite expensive. Was told to wait 2-3 days for them to validate my identity, but it has been over two weeks with no response.

Eh, ssl certs are just a pain.  Can't really help that, it just is what it is.

Should make my credit card authorization people happy and secure my firewall.

**What do you like best about SSL.com?**

The best thing that I liked is its security level which is way beyond I had thought of. The SSL provides a secured layer of login to secure your system, files, credentials & other PII information that one could want to save from the phishers. It basically used to protect external sites, Citrix window, Financial processing, HR documentation, confidential documents & others that need security before they enter your network. The Intruders go for a toss when the machine has an SSL login. It helps the IT, team, to be less worried when SSL is working. It does 3/4th work of the IT security department.

**What do you dislike about SSL.com?**

It sometimes functions too slow THAN it is known for. Many of the applications do not work when SSL used. Restrictions do not allow a normal site to enter the network. Though it is good from the security perspective, however, it should not that much strict. The login process is a bit lengthy & time-consuming. It does not stay long in an idle state.

**Recommendations to others considering SSL.com:**

Go with the product. It will protect your system/network.

**What problems is SSL.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

SSL is anytime adaptable. It is just that you must have patience, because it may slow down the SSL login process, makes you wait, makes your login again if left idle for a bit longer. From the security point, it is always advisable to sign up with the SSL process & forget the interruptions by the intruders.
