**What do you like best about SSI Claims Management?**

The system helps to ensure the claims go out clean and are rejected if there are still errors that exist with the claim.
clean claims going out, driving down the cost and time required to generate payments. There are less labor, measured to-bill or collect, and lower accounts receivable (AR) days, thus quicker payments.  means driving down the cost and time required to generate payments. **What do you dislike about SSI Claims Management?**

Upstream errors and oversights, the errors sometimes are difficult to solve as the error may be loaded incorrectly.It is important to ensure information was gathered and accurately input early in the patient’s interaction with the provider, which is not doe at times.
Constant payer and regulatory rule changes is another challenge.Payers change their billing rules regularly, and it can be a challenge to keep up. 

**Recommendations to others considering SSI Claims Management:**

Get serious about systems integration. Having the right information systems in place is important for streamlining data entry and improving accuracy, but you also need the systems to be properly tied together. 
Embrace good governance practices throughout the revenue cycle.Assemble a multidisciplinary team that includes patient access, clinical, coding, IT and billing professionals that meets regularly to discuss opportunities for improvements along the revenue cycle.Choose the right healthcare software vendors and collaborate with them. SSI works closely with individual payers to understand the rule changes they are implementing so that the software effectively captures those requirements.

I WORK THE CLAIM EDITS THAT FLOW THRU FROM THE EPIC SYSTEM OF BILLING.
THE SSI SYSTEM IS CRUCIAL FOR CORRECTING THE ERROR AND ISSUES WITH THE CLAIM BEFORE IT IS BILLED TO INSURANCE.
