The system has very many options to individualize and modularity allows us to be fast to market. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I have nothing to complain about, everything is fine. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Spryker's core software provides universal value, while still being easily extendable and customizable. Thus I'd consider it an excellent fit for tons of manufacturers, retailers, and service providers in B2B and B2C environments looking to make the next step in digital commerce.
What I like the most is:
- The disciplined separation of backend and frontend.
- The modularity of features.
- Configurations for multi-store & -language setups are easy to accomplish.
- Customization is comfortably possible without risking future upgradability.
- Continuous and transparent development of core software. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
- The steep learning curve for developers, who are just getting to know Spryker and its architecture, as the software is somewhat complex and a juggernaut functionality-wise. From what I can see, a lot has now been kicked off to ease and speed up that process (Academy); but still, with the small number of developers bringing an extensive Spryker knowledge to the table, it's a pain.
- The developer & business user community still offers enormous room for improvement. I'm sure many enthusiasts would be willing to share their individual experiences with Spryker.
- Some of the published modules are not production-ready out of the box and leave a lot to be desired, even with basic expectations regarding offered functionality. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Spryker OS delivers a complete eCommerce package, which can be suited to your needs.
The overall functionality is separated into individual modules (aka packaged business capabilities) that can be customized.
Everything is in one installation: multi-site, multi-store, multiple languages (customized to your clients), even though configuration/setup is demanding.
The primary focus is scalability in performance and market growth. As a headless solution, Spryker OS goes beyond classic shop solutions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
As others said, the learning curve for developers can be steep.
Being located in Berlin, Germany, we have the advantage of having developers who work with the funding frameworks and architecture. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

None I can think of this early in the engagement Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Spryker has a PaaS approach which enables custom code and configuration throughout the system. It has a modular approach so it's rather easy to do isolated customizations to certain areas where you need it. Beside that the PHP developer base is rather huge so it should be a breeze to find the right implementation personel.
Spryker has B2C and B2B demo shops available, all fully responsive, acting as a good starting point for individualization projects.
Sprykers support is fast and responsive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Sprykers cloud offering is open to some improvements. Besides rather technical discussions for provisioning the right systems, there are also some issues regarding monitoring and operational excellence. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Well structured codebase architecture
Flexible to extend
A good built-in solution for search
The state machine for business processes
The default implementation is already scalable
Support multi-stores Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The documentation and developer bootcamp is sometimes out-of-date
Open code, not open source, all bugs need to be submitted to an internal system without accepting patches from communities
Steep learning curve.
The bridges at the core level sometimes cause difficulties in project-level implementation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

For building a global marketplace with millions of products Spyker is just what you need. Individual processes and requirements, common in B2B commerce, can be implemented perfectly using Spryker as a base. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
As Spryker is a system for ambitious commerce projects with a high degree of customization and enterprise requirements. There is no simple answer - don't expect it to be ready out-of-the box and within 3 days. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
What is most remarkable about Spryker is not their thoughtful application of PHP to create a highly flexible and fully modular e-commerce platform-- even though the platform itself is fantastic, with rich B2B and D2C features out of the box. No, it's that after several experiences implementing a platform and having an underwhelming to awful implementation, the Spryker team becomes even more engaged and focused on your success after the sale.
If you are sizing up Gartner's magic quadrant while you consider your selection, recall that the platform shown to you is the fully mature realization of their capabilities. With all but Spryker, an integration partner will start the work and then find their contact at the platform slow to respond at best, wholly unresponsive at worst.
Spryker continues to be available, and they treat customers and partners with speed and sincerity. Add that to a robust platform, and you can't ask for much else. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
To date we have no issues with the platform implementation and we look forward to continuing to add more of the features moving forward. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It is easy to implement custom features for our complex business case. Also, this technology scales well in our growing business. You can show personalized content, product lists, and products to your customers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Upgradeability (at this moment) is hard, but Spryker is working on it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Scalability of components like you need it. The shop is highly customizable, with many existing modules to use or the ones written by yourself. It is easy to integrate into your current services and to connect to new services. Spryker supports multi-store, multi-language, B2B and B2C and has a customizable checkout and workflow process. Lots of boilerplate code, hard to learn (to customize), only for shops at Enterprise-Level Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
