What do you like best about spring.io?

Many out of the box features and it integrates well with other frameworks that we need in our overall development process. Also one can get help/support easily as there are a lot of other developers using it as well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about spring.io?

Not much, just one observation I had is while using spring boot the deployment files get very large as our application grows. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is spring.io solving and how is that benefiting you?

It makes development very easy like with Spring Boot we have very less source code to write, we no longer need to deploy the war files. Use of POJO: Supports POJO for developing an application is that you don’t need an enterprise container like an application server.

Flexibility for configuring Spring.

No Need Server.

Complexitty and large no of classes.

High Learning Curve.

Lots of parallel mechanisms make it difficult to learn.

What do you like best about spring.io?

Spring Boot helps me to setup a completely new project in very few moments. I do not need to care about basic configuration and the libraries and their versions. And over that, I can override wherever I need to do. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about spring.io?

Finding suitable customizations and how to exclude settings is quite complex. Also, some behavior and dependencies seem not intuitive, but this is due to the framework's nature and concepts. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is spring.io solving and how is that benefiting you?

Whenever you need to develop a (java) program that can run self-contained (also in a container), Spring Boot can help you to realize it in a short timeframe. It is not about the business logic but the plumbing, packaging and building. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
