What do you like best about spring.io?

It is an open source, based on java framework. It can be used as developing backend, micro services and erb applications. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about spring.io?

It creates a lot of unused dependences hence over size of the build image. And thread config also a headache as there is lesser controls. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about spring.io?

It helps to makes configurations easily with the help of annotations like @Entity, @Service, @Controller. This way we can also keep the business logics separate from the routing logic.

Lombok helps with modelling the database and Orm like hibernate helps. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about spring.io?

The IDE UI could really improve compared to rivals such as IntelliJ. Setting up the whole framework and paths can cause problems at times. Sometimes the build takes more time than needed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about spring.io?

As a Java developer, I use the Spring framework on day to day basis. I like the integration with other modules such as third-party libraries and new updates make it compatible to add features coming to Java new versions. What do you dislike about spring.io?

Everything is good about Spring Framework nothing wrong or negative in particular but what could have been better is finding jar compatibility. After many years of working, I know where to look so it might be challenging for beginners. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Spring framework is a collection of a different set of modules that were separated in previous frameworks like Struts so it greatly helped not just to create web applications but also benefited selecting the configuration as needed for the particular application. Spring also has a huge community which is helpful if some developer stuff while performing development tasks.
