What do you like best about spring.io?

Most of the things we need are available just that one has to know how to configure according to the need. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about spring.io?

If you are going for microservice with shared database it's seems like hell of monolithic Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is spring.io solving and how is that benefiting you?

What do you like best about spring.io?

I find the Auto Configuration feature of spring boot to be the best in application development. This feature of Spring Boot provides all the configurations automatically and developer does not has to worry about adding configurations manually at all. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about spring.io?

JAVA 8 is pre-requisite for Spring Boot applications. So it can not be used for enhancing the functionalities of existing applications easily that work with Java 7 and previous versions. So its causing additional cost to existing projects. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Spring Boot is highly efficient bootsraping mechanism that has come up with so many additional features especially the starter templates and actautor, that has completely reduced efforts of developer in developing and building the application. What problems is spring.io solving and how is that benefiting you?

I use spring boot to develop and implement enterprise applications. It has really reduced all developers efforts as most of my work is handled by simply using the annotations and started dependencies in pom.xml file. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about spring.io?

Spring boot has great community support. Applications made through spring boot are prod ready. Allow micro services design capability. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Spring cloud stream kafka test support can be greatly increased. Currently its not that easy to write kafka based test cases. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Umm, nothing. It's code and knowledge base is amazingly detailed, with examples and is mostly flexible for business logic of any kind. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Web or console development become very easy with Spring boot. Dependency ingestion is the best part.
