**What do you like best about Sprig?**

I like that Sprig allows me to be confident about reaching the right customer at the right time. It cuts research time so we can maintain a live pulse on our product across a diverse set of customers and their needs. Sprig is far superior in reaching the right customer at the right time compared to other tools like GetFeedback. Above all, Sprig is much more user-friendly, enabling multiple departments at our company to use the tool relatively quickly to reach out to customers for feedback.

**What do you dislike about Sprig?**

I wish it would allow us to automatically format a pasted question option choice from Google Docs. I think this is on their roadmap so I'm eager for it to release. It would also be great to see what they do for the synthesis portion in the future since it would be great to get to edit the AI buckets when it takes a first attempt at coding the survey data.

**What problems is Sprig solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Sprig to target customers with surveys at the right place and time, eliminating the need to pull customer lists from other teams, democratizing user research for multiple people at our company, cutting UX research time, and maintaining a live pulse on diverse customer needs.

**What do you like best about Sprig?**

Sprig has been an essential tool for gathering opinions in an uncomplicated and clear manner. We frequently need to know how users feel when they leave or how to enhance the administrative staff's experience.
The best scenario is for the surveys to be conducted at the appropriate time, without interruption, and for the responses to be recorded right away. I don't have to spend hours manually organizing data, which saves me a ton of time.

**What do you dislike about Sprig?**

At first, it was somewhat costly to adapt to the manner question flows are designed, particularly if we sought more tailored approaches for our style of patient.  I also believe that having more case studies available would benefit the healthcare sector.

**What problems is Sprig solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use Sprig to gather input on the new patient admission system. We didn't know which parts caused the greatest confusion at first, but after only one week of active surveys, the data clearly showed where the majority of people were detained or needed help. This allowed us to modify the instructions and shorten the waiting time.

Easy to start with the simple installation for non technical users,
Easy to target with e.g. path or interaction based segments.
Create multiple study types and filtering results by user attributes is also helpful.

**What do you dislike about Sprig?**

Some analytics might not be enough for more advanced insights, which we need to delegate to other BI tools. Exporting data is not as straightforward as we fought.

It helps us gather timely feedback in good contextual without the need to schedule human 1:1 calls with manually picked customers. It helps us gather data for data-driven decisions to enhance our UI/UX for our web platform.

**What do you like best about Sprig?**

As a Product Manager, I love how easy and intuitive it is to understand overall trends and themes at the survey and individual question level. I also enjoy being able to double click into responses and identify the specific user that left feedback so I can follow-up or investigate their usage on other platforms. I'm a huge fan of the Sprig Slack integration as well since my Product Designer create a Slack channel where all Sprig responses are logged for our product.

No notable downsides. It meets my needs as a Product Manager who needs access to an intuitive qualitative tool to survey our users

Sprig has become a valuable part of our user research toolkit, especially as we’ve scaled our efforts and looked for ways to collect insights faster and with less manual coordination. Its strength lies in enabling in-the-moment feedback through in-product surveys, which helps us capture user sentiment and behavioral context with high relevance.

**What do you dislike about Sprig?**

Customization Limits: While the tool is easy to use, there are some limitations around branding and question types that might not suit complex research needs.

Analysis Depth: The reporting dashboard is great for high-level patterns, but for more nuanced qualitative analysis, we often have to export data to dig deeper.

**What do you like best about Sprig?**

Sprig has been a gamechanger for in product feedback collection. Its ability to seamlessly target users and capture insights at scale has transformed how we gather feedback. It delivered both high volume and high quality responses with minimal operational overhead.

Before Sprig, running early access and beta programs required significant program management effort, often yielding low response rates or weak signals. With Sprig, we could autonomously collect a steady stream of quality feedback, allowing teams to monitor real-time sentiment using their AI powered analysis.

The real unlock came when we integrated Sprig with Enterpret. Suddenly, in product feedback wasn’t just a siloed data point. it became part of a unified feedback ecosystem, alongside sources like Zendesk, Twitter, and Reddit. This gave the entire company a single, searchable source of truth, making it easier to identify trends, validate decisions, and stay connected to user needs at scale.

If you’re looking to build a continuous loop between user insights and product decisions, Sprig (especially when paired with Enterpret) is a must-have.

**What do you dislike about Sprig?**

Sprig's billing model can be very confusing and rather expensive. It's not very clear how it works and how to manage it in an optimal way. Also the way they format their data exports through the API is really tricky as well and takes a lot of time to reformat into a usable way.

**What do you like best about Sprig?**

Studies look great and are super easy to create. 

Basic implementation is easy with the javascript SDK (though adding events could be a little easier for us - more on that in the next section).

 The AI summaries are super helpful. As a result we've seen solid organic adoption with our PMs who are lunching quite well designed surveys with minimal support!

**What do you dislike about Sprig?**

If you use segment it's easy to bring your existing events etc in however it lacks a public API to send events. If it supported Snowflake data sharing, brining attributres from our warehouse would make implementation even quicker!

Helping our PMs understand our users at scale when interviews are too high effort and quant data doesn't explain the why enough.

Easy to install and capture user feedback. I like that the button is always visible and has a nice design. We use it for bug hunting with users.

Can add Make integration. But with webhooks, we solve it. So it's not critical

**What do you like best about Sprig?**

The ease of setting up surveys. Sprig makes it very easy to get in-app surveys set-up and deployed in super fast time. Im impressed with the bespoke dashboards that can be set up to view data and the look and feel of the UI is great - not to clunky and very smooth. The support team are also great with solving any issues or questions I have - highly recommend!

**What do you dislike about Sprig?**

The only thing would be that as Im based in the EMEA timezone, getting support can take longer that I would like - but as soon as the  team are online, the support is swift and the team are very quick to make things happen.

Understanding what makes our users tick and what user journeys cause friction are the key reasons why we are using Sprig, to understand and go more indepth in finding the answers to these questions. We have been able to make impactful improvements to our products via the in-app survey offerings by Sprig.

**What do you like best about Sprig?**

My company primarily utilized Maze, to which we were highly attached. Maze was exceptionally user-friendly (for designers), and features such as hotspots proved to be extremely valuable for our data interpretation. Sprig offers a similar yet distinct set of functionalities, so making the decision to switch was not a quick one. To address our concerns, the product team convened a formal meeting with representatives from Sprig before finalizing our decision.

One aspect of Sprig that I particularly appreciate is their customer support, which effectively addressed my numerous inquiries—something I did not experience with Maze. Additionally, Sprig frequently conducts webinars and provides one-on-one customer support, which has significantly enhanced my ability to efficiently use its tools.

A notable advantage of Sprig is its ease of use, even for individuals outside the design team, leading to increased adoption among product personnel. Although certain features, such as hotspots, are not yet available (with plans for future implementation), Sprig is committed to continuous improvement and feature expansion.

I have already addressed this matter; however, certain features are currently unavailable. This is not a significant issue, as Sprig frequently communicates about upcoming features and is consistently focused on making improvements.

Using Sprig has enabled our small, but might research team to double the number of studies we're running and cut in half the time it takes us to go from study to actionable insight. It's also very easy to implement a new sprig and the ability to have unlimited seats in our account means many stakeholders can view results in real-time and take action even sooner.

**What do you dislike about Sprig?**

If Sprig had a few more survey capabilities, we may be able to expand the usage to other departments and research needs. Would also really love to test prototypes (with video/audio recording) on mobile!

The fact that it integrates so easily out of the box with our front end. I've had a few challenges here and there getting things to work, but the customer support team is always easy to contact and get help from. I like how easy it is to see the metrics, and the AI summary is very useful. Overall, it's a great product!

I really can't think of anything. It fulfills all of my needs.

In-app surveys for user research purposes. It helps me discover quantitatively and qualitatively issues that my end users have with our product. I use it continually for NPS and for regularly running surveys on areas of my application.

I do not have a single thing unfortunately that I have to say positively about this site.

Incredibly difficult to navigate. You have to jump through hurdles in order to get to a place where still only very limited information is available. The surveys more than not provide no information and just a 1-10 score ... this does not help us grow or learn in any capacity whatsoever.

Sprig has not solved a single issue or even provided me enough information to tackle an issue. I have received 0 benefits from sprig so far.

Sprig allows my company to understand the in-the-moment experience of our users, greatly reducing recall bias. Many studies can be implemented without engineering effort, allowing us to rapidly answer research questions. 
The Sprig support and Eng teams are always quick to answer our questions.

**What do you dislike about Sprig?**

More advanced studies requires Eng support.
Survey logic is not as advanced as Qualtrics or other more robust platforms.

**What problems is Sprig solving and how is that benefiting you?**

With Sprig, we can ensure we survey the right users at the right time. We don't need to send thousands of untargeted surveys to reach the right audience. When users are prompted to take surveys, the action they have just taken is fresh in their heads, so we can properly understand their experience of it. With these insights, we can understand the what and why of our users' behaviors.

Sprig has been very easy to set up and easy enough to use that everyone on our team can self-serve. We've enjoyed using the surveys and heatmaps. The screen recording software is also very helpful for the design team to understand usability. We're very happy with our decision to switch to Sprig.

**What do you dislike about Sprig?**

Not necissarily a dislike of Sprig, but heatmaps in general lack enough clarity to true make decisions from. Due to the complexity of some of our interfaces, it's hard to determine what was actually clicked or viewed.

**What problems is Sprig solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We want to see how users move through our product, and Session Replay does exactly that. We've watched guests get stuck or spend too much time on simple tasks. These learnings have helped us design better flows and optimize our experience.

**What do you like best about Sprig?**

I love Sprig's survey tool for hearing immediate feedback from customers when they complete our flows or abandon flows. The replay feature is a great value add for these surveys. I've been able to identify several severe bugs that have gone completely unoticed by product teams simply by reading open responses and watching replays. I also love asking customers if they would like to participate in interviews. This allows me easy access to a pool of customers for further UX research.

I use Sprig every week to check in on customer sentiment and monitor for new problems.

**What do you dislike about Sprig?**

Getting support from engineers to help set of events in Sprig can be a pain. I've been exploring Sprig's no-code events for survey targetting and it seems to work well, although a bit tricky to understand at first.

Sprig helps us ensure product quality across critical user journeys by keeping a continuous pulse on the user experience. Replays are eveolving this by providing behavioural data to better understand friction.

I love the ease of spinning up a new study on a website. It's so simple to start collecting data from visitors and there are endless opportunities for creating user friendly prompts, surveys, prototypes, etc.

**What do you dislike about Sprig?**

It's incredibly easy to forget that you have an event triggering once it's live. You have to not just end the study or survey but archive the event too. We've found ourselves in more than one instance where the event continues to trigger, despite not being tied to a live study and eating up all of our MTUs or incurring overages. YIKES.

**What problems is Sprig solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Sprig solves the issue of creating easy to launch in-product surveys. The reports are great and the templates available are robust.

**What do you like best about Sprig?**

We mainly use Sprig for surveys on our existing customer base segmented by audience. The filters really help us determine what segment we want to survey and on what pages. I also really like Sprig's AI analysis of open answers and how it clusters them into themes.

**What do you dislike about Sprig?**

The usability test feature is not really intuitive and doesn't allow you to add links other than prototype links. When we we're doing an audio test, it didn't work because of this limitation.

**What problems is Sprig solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Sprig allows specific triggers (or filters), that allow us to target exactly the users we want and survey them to better understand our product. It's targeting and audience filters are extremely useful. Also, the session replays allows us to understand better what the user was doing when answering the survey. The survey AI insights are great too and make analyzing much easier

**What do you like best about Sprig?**

I think that the way the feedback is collected and categorized is really helpful. All the tasks that you need to test your survey participants on are recorded and transcribed instantly, and if you enable screen recording, you are able to view their pathing and see in real time, if they're struggling in specific areas of your designs. Also, Sprig has the responses to the questions automatically categorized into themes that highlight the key takeaways from the survey. All in all, it makes it really easy to review all of the feedback coming in and saves me so much time with synthesizing the data. I am definitely going to be using Sprig from now on to conduct user interviews and usability tests with my customers.

**What do you dislike about Sprig?**

The biggest gripe I have with Sprig is that when I embed a prototype from Figma into the recorded tasks, the resolution of the prototype is very small, despite the fact that I am designing for a desktop. I have adjusted the settings, increased the wireframe size, and googled other potential ways to increase the resolution size for our survey participants, but nothing has worked and some have even said that they cannot do specific tasks because the font size is too small. If there is some sort of best practice (recommended wireframe size, settings, etc), that should be specified somewhere on the UI near where you input the prototype link. 

Additionally, I had a couple survey participants state that the task came up with a black screen and that the prototype did not show, which was unfortunate. And lastly, it would be nice if our pariticpants could go back in case, they accidentally selected the wrong answer or forgot to mention something in the comments.

**What problems is Sprig solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Documentation of all of the user feedback can be tedious with transcribing, taking notes, and synthesizing data and Sprig really does speed up the process for us and provides more value with video/screen/audio recording as well as immediate transcription and AI analysis tools.

Spring has started to clutter itself with AI features, and other unnecessary things we just don't use.

Sprig makes it simple to collect user feedback on in-product experiences. That makes it easy to collect regular feedback. It also makes it possible for our product team to change surveys without bugging the engineering team.

Not to be able to see it per time frame. we are running an ongoing survey so if I want to analyze the change per month without create a new survey, I need to download it to excel. in addition, if I run it to analyze an experiment, I have the experiment as a property in excel but I cannot see it easily in sprig.
I want to see in 1 sprig, the results per each varient in the experiment and not to open a new spring. why? we have only 20 sprigs per month to all the company and many PM want to use it

each time we have a differnt problem like why are you using the web and not the app.
if we run an ab test, which experiment get better result - we ask if our product help them today - this is something that hard to get from the data
also, we users are not using some feature or they use it in the wrong way, we ask them why

Its super easy to setup, sitting on top of your existing techstack either through Segment or a Java SDK.  Works really nicely, and customer support is always quick to respond.

There are some weird UI behaviors and not everything is immediately obvious for how it should work - such as cloning a survey or chaining multiple surveys together.

One notable drawback has been the historically slow response time for tickets, taking up to 24 hours. It can be difficult to understand whether response quotas are met, particularly for surveys involving multiple segments. However, Sprig introduced new features recently that have made this a little easier, like results filters and displaying missingness information, and generally the team seems very responsive to feedback.

Sprig allows us to hear from the right users at the right time. Targeting a specific audience is so easy that since adopting Sprig, we've roughly doubled the frequency of our surveys. We also are now starting to use Sprig to collect data about features that haven't fully launched yet. Because we can target based on LaunchDarkly flags, we can now provide qualitative insights when A/B testing, which helps our product team refine solutions more efficiently.

The pricing model is a bit off, for a smaller startup you can only commit to a 12 month plan and you can have only 2 studies per month.
Also, their Javascript SDK doesn't allow for SSR apps like NextJS

Overall I think Sprig is great. I've used both Qualtrics and SurveyMonkey in my professional career and Sprig is very easy to use and navigate both in terms of UI and guidance. The surveys are quick to stand up, easy to embed in a multitude of ways, and has enough functionality to create a range of engagements.

**What do you dislike about Sprig?**

The 3 main things I wish Sprig had more of are 
1. Metadata extraction - being able to easily extract my delivery data and also the ability to embed additional metrics into my survey for capture. (Qualrics does a great job of this) 

2. User management and administration - I want it to be easier to be an admin of Sprig. I have to manage our Sprig instance, which means making sure we don't get near our maximums and also making sure my team is enabled. Wish it were easier to track usage of individuals and groups but also see the historical usage easier. 

3. In-app guidance. I think you guys do this well, but I still want more. :) Espeically when it comes to managing dev and prod environments. I get a lot of questions about these and have to explain to my users that it exists.

We've had Sprig for about a year now and we're overall pretty happy with it. It's been generally easy to use after some intitial technical setup which required engineering help. 

The AI summaries and themes are pretty accurate and save a ton of time over manually reading and categorizing feedback.

We've seen much higher response rates through in-app surveys (10-30%) as opposed to email where we'd see maybe 1 or 2%. 

Frequently updates with new features, especially AI-related ones.

The support has been great too. We have a shared Slack channel for questions and the team is usually very quick to respond.

**What do you dislike about Sprig?**

There's a lot room for improvement in the reporting. Could use some slight UI enhancements like simply pinning studies to the home dashboard or top of the list so you see how they're progressing at a glance.

**What problems is Sprig solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Sprig has allowed us to move away from old fashioned email surveys. Email was a very congested channel at our company and our response rates weren't great. We see sometimes 10x higher response rates in Sprig and the in-app surveys are easier to deploy than email.

**What do you like best about Sprig?**

Sprig stands out for its ease of use and versatility, making in-app surveys accessible to both experienced researchers and newcomers. Its main strengths lie in the in-app triggers for in-context surveying and straightforward result analysis.

 Sprig's result analysis is straightforward and doesn't necessarily require extensive research expertise for basic use, making it accessible to a wide range of users. We use it on our Research team, but it's accessible enough that our non-researchers on our Product + Eng team can handle simple surveys on their own.

Plus, we work closely with our account team at Sprig and they're a Slack away for any help we need.

**What do you dislike about Sprig?**

There can be a bit of a engineering investment to get survey triggers configured, depending on the complexity of the survey and in-product trigger. This hasn't been a barrier for usage for us and the Sprig team helps us navigate it, but it's something to take into consideration. 

Otherwise, there are some instances in which we need to export survey data to Sheets or another tool to get the level of analysis we want. Ideally, that could be doen in Sprig, but their exports include the pertinent data, so again, it's not a significant drawback. It would just be a little easier and more convenient to do it all in the Sprig interface!

I primarily use Sprig for surveying users engaged in beta testing features. These surveys help us gain a quantitative understanding of the user experience within beta features. Additionally, we leverage the audience from these Sprig surveys to recruit respondents for subsequent in-depth qualitative research.
