**What do you like best about SpotMe?**

SpotMe is incredibly user friendly! The customer service from the moment we inquired about the product all the way through our event was superb! Our members loved the product and found it very interactive. We could not be more pleased with SpotMe! They saved our virtual convention this year.

**What do you dislike about SpotMe?**

The ONLY thing and this is completely minor, would be the process of getting into the platform via the email link. We had a few (much older) members who had difficulty getting in. So while the process is understandable, it can be a bit challenging for the technologically challenged!

**What problems is SpotMe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

SpotMe took the place of our in-person convention because of CoVID. It could not have been a better substitute.

Attentive staff (Clara), backstage ability to change small things myself, able to pull lists frequently, look and feel of the whole app

**What do you dislike about SpotMe?**

Limited ability to make changes on the registration pages (ideally wanted a multi reg pag), and the issue with the live polling

**What problems is SpotMe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The whole webinar itself was massively stress free (which hasnt been the case with other platforms). The speakers were under control, and the stream was great and good quality! Thanks team!

**What do you like best about SpotMe?**

Project manager is keen to help and make changes last minute. Our project manager on site was great! We only got to work with him a week before the event because of some problems with the contract and he made it work. He was working very fast and understood what we wanted. On site, on the day of the event, he could make last minute changes without a problem and created questions and poll with very short notice. He was always asking if we needed more questions and if we needed to send more notification push to the attendees. He was very available for us.

**What do you dislike about SpotMe?**

The contract signing was long and painful process. Our sales person wasn't there to listen to our needs. There are some features that we would of liked to have for the event but they were presented to us after the event... it is really bad timing and this is due to the sales person that didn't do his job and tell us about all the features. We got a project manager only one week before the event. It is very short notice and a lot of work for us to put in.

**Recommendations to others considering SpotMe:**

have enough time before the event to sign the contract. This was a very long process and took us about 3 months. The creation of the app took only a week.

**What problems is SpotMe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

More engagement from the audience. It is great to have live input from the audience at the event. Also since they are engaged, they are more likely to listen to the presentation and using Spotme during the event helps to break the flow of PPT.

Convenient: All the info are group in one App
Interactivity: very interesting to collect info from the attendees

No direct link to internal portal such as yammer, internal sharepoint 
App that you use only for the event, Might be interesting to continue using it (communication/sharing)

For the first time, go for the full support

Communication : easy way to communicate all the information. But you need to keep the right balance, just what is needed
Time saving : Pre-event to provide details/logistics,  during the meeting/events to collect information, engage and exchange with the attendees, post event to collect feedback

**What do you like best about SpotMe?**

- Highly slick operation with a keen eye for detail 
- Dedicated staff, who work tirelessly and integrate into the team nicely with their personable manner. 
- In particular, Andrew Tosh, Julian Arida and Jean Sebastian Rahm are great members of the team to have in ours, working through the night often on little sleep to make sure everything is correct.

- There are not really any criticisms from my perspective from working with SpotMe, only if Attend could work more smoothly. 

**Recommendations to others considering SpotMe:**

Great product and service and ensured we had the most excellent user experience. Coupled with great friendly colleagues who integrate themselves well into the team.

- An integrated learning tool which has all of the materials embedded onto the system. 
- Allowing us at the provider of the training to better inform our on-programme participants.

Easy setup and very user friendly, flexible; the team was very responsive and even though we did not have much time to set up the app, all worked out fine and according to our needs and requirements; short notice changes have always been addressed immediately

**What do you like best about SpotMe?**

The team are very friendly and helpful, making updates to the app quickly and are knowledgeable when we ask questions about functionality. The app is reliable, easy to use and includes a lot of great features. 

**What do you dislike about SpotMe?**

It's often unclear which team will be going to the event itself until quite late & the cost is high compared with competitors - for this reason it would be nice for all the features to be included in 1 package rather than tiered pricing with added costs for new features.
I would recommend the account management team have much closer contact with us to make us aware of exactly what services you offer. Recently our travel team went elsewhere for badge production not knowing Spot Me did this, and we would have used Spot Me if we had known. When we checked on the website it wasn't clear too. A full updated creds deck would be beneficial every 6 months or so.  

**What problems is SpotMe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Much less paperwork at meetings, pressure is relieved on having to meet print deadlines. It is great that the app can be personalised as well & holds lots of useful information to answer people's logistical questions. In a large meeting it is also a great way of getting questions in to the panel on stage without causing any disruption to the event. 

Regarding the question below about being a user of spot me - I am working on meetings actively with Spot Me but  I do not have a screenshot as I don't have the app downloaded on my phone. Therefore I have ticked No to skip this step.

Some aspects of the app build - I wish the copy from one event to the other was more seamless. I often build similar type events and would love it if I the destination event could be identical without any manual input from me.

It's a very efficient and nifty app that can be used in a variety of ways. I highly recommend it!

**What do you like best about SpotMe?**

The App was very easy to use, it was possible to add in our own branding to it and a big group of people could use it at the same time. The interactiveness of app was very helpful in navigating people around. Very helpful that people could still access the app afterwards to refer back to anything. People really enjoyed the polling function and the live results thereof. Getting to post pictures and having group activities on there. Being able to link to some of the internal documents that we have as well. 

**What do you dislike about SpotMe?**

Don't think we were able to make use of all of its functionalities, would have been good to use it more. 

**Recommendations to others considering SpotMe:**

Getting in touch early on and being clear about what you want from them. Also asking about the functionalities and seeing where that can be brought into what you are thinking.

Definitely helped in our learning courses, got people to be more interactive during training, helped navigate people around. Was informative - sending out information via the app. People still had access to a post event app should they want to go back to anything later on.

**What do you like best about SpotMe?**

It is interactive and easy to use and like the functionality.

**What do you dislike about SpotMe?**

It is difficult to coordinate with the PMs as they are in a different timezone. It would also be easier if they understood what our objectives are as we are in the pharmaceutical industry and spotme is primarily designed for meeting events only. We use this application as a study conduct app, which has a very different intended purpose than an overall meeting application.

Make sure it meets your objectives

Issues with uploading and site access. It would be easier to streamline the sign in process. I always have to push the PMs to get things done, nothing happens automatically and I wish there would be a better way to streamline. Honestly. I don't believe at this time that spotme is the best platform for the intended purpose of the study objectives.

Great experience all round using multiple different functionalities on the App including polling and wordclouds etc, overall a really good experience which adds another dimension to the training and increases engagement. The support on site is also really good to ensure that all users have access and are using the app to its full potential.

Can take some time invested to get the App just right but working with their team and understanding what documents are needed and in which format makes this a smooth process.

More engagement from participants and allowing everyone to have a say and get involved in quizzes and polls throughout the events. It gives the events a much more polished look and feel. It is also a great way of getting all of the learner materials and information into one place which saves alot of information being printed and handed out saving our team time during busy training sessions.

The staff were incredibly helpful and would always work to implement requests (no matter how difficult) at a moments notice. On-site they were both calm and collected and were very professional (as well as super friendly!)

**What do you dislike about SpotMe?**

I do not have much to offer on this side, except that when corrections were requested to the app; often one or two requests would consistently not be actioned . So our team would cross reference any actions that had not been taken and resend these to SpotMe.

They are a great company to work with! Very good to have on site and easy to communicate with.

We have realised how useful it is to have live questions during presentations, it keeps the audience focused and engaged. In addition we have realised how helpful SpotMe is for ollecting feedback on events. We haven't had feedback of this quality since!

SpotMe provides a simplified way to customize agendas for participants. Changes can be made easily and instantly. You get everything you need for an event by using the SpotMe technology and they are open to customizing based on what your program/conference might need.

The technology isn't always reliable onsite and the level of expertise varies from SpotMe contact to SpotMe contact. There are often outages and updates that we aren't aware of ahead of time that end up causing issues onsite.

**Recommendations to others considering SpotMe:**

I would recommend to keep innovating and to make sure all SpotMe technicians have the same level of expertise.

Less paper onsite - agendas/groups/documents/messages can be updated easily since there are always changes. Gamification has helped with interactivity as well.

Very simple and easy-to-pick-up platform to quickly create a great looking event app. Additionally, the customer support team was very helpful, quick to respond, and ensured progress was steady.

Limited optionality to enhance the existing features within the app in order to perform more advanced and out-of-scope functions. Furthermore, ideally would have been able to receive more in-depth and rich data from the platform's analytics.

The ability to communicate to our participants (in terms of agenda and notifications) was invaluable. Our on-site SpotMe support was extremely professional and was able to quickly respond to changes requested by leadership. Lastly, using gamification was key in getting the participants excited to engage.

**What do you dislike about SpotMe?**

There are no downsides to using SpotMe. Our only issue during the last session was that the notifications were not working properly and non-targeted people were receiving messages.

**What do you like best about SpotMe?**

After months of researching apps, my team and I decided to move forward with SpotMe as they were the clear front-runner in terms of functionality, most of which was native to the app.  And while we were notably impressed with the app, what sets this company apart from others is the topnotch customer service, which was by far the highlight of our experience. From start to finish, everyone we interacted with felt like a project partner with equal stake in the success of our event and not just a vendor. Our project manager, Chuck, continually went above and beyond, exceeding all of my expectations, and truly felt like an extension of our team. 


**What do you dislike about SpotMe?**

The app is fantastic and incredibly robust, so I was not shocked that Backstage reflected that.  I was looking forward to using it in a self-service capacity but may not be ready for that after our first event. Familiarizing yourself with the admin is something that will take some time and extended training.



**What problems is SpotMe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are using SpotMe for lead retrieval in product lounge, to collect analytics to help improve our programming, to increase attendee engagement, to provide additional networking opportunities for our attendees, solicit feedback via session surveys and polling, and to collect data that helps us to better understand what our attendees value and measure ROI.

The app is really easy to use!  The team are so nice and helpful, which really helped with pre and onsite event planning.  I wouldn't hesitate to use this tool again!

I would really like the Q&A feature to be more like a forum, so that others could see Qs posed by others

The app behaved exactly as we had hoped which made the onsite execution seamless.

**What do you dislike about SpotMe?**

I found that we didn't like the new version of Word Cloud-which was on the individual screens. The functionality sounds perfect; however, the individual screens magnified the words of the cloud which made it hard to decipher the actual words being projected. The only way a user to see the submitted words We arwas to actually view them on the general session screen.

It is the best looking app around and clients are always impressed by the usability and accessibility. A lot of engagement features and the development team are always innovating and striving to improve their product.

**What do you dislike about SpotMe?**

I feel like they have grown very quickly in the last couple of years and as a result their customer service and project management competence have dipped. They are also one of the more expensive products out there

Always do your research. Contact several companies and ask them plenty of questions before making your selection.

Driving engagement during events and finding out there are plenty of ways for the audience to interact with one another using the event app.

The SpotMe app is very flexible which is great as there were many last minute changes during the event, which both the app and the SpotMe team dealt with superbly.

Having a event-branded app icon would be preferable

Audience engagement and participation were increased during the event with the SpotMe app. In addition, gaining a better understanding of the views and unmet needs of the audience by having data on downloads, questions answered and submitted, and the word cloud.

There is nothing to note in this section, we are thoroughly impressed with Spotme.

**What do you like best about SpotMe?**

Matt Pavese is always a pleasure to work with and very accommodating. It was a tight turn around due to the contract but Jordan came in in full gear and made it work. She was very capable and we can always rely on her to delivery quality service and deliverable. 

**What do you dislike about SpotMe?**

There are some limitations on the app that we had to work around. Cannot remember off the top of my head but I think it will be revised over time.

I did not come across any problem that requires solving.

**What do you like best about SpotMe?**

We used Word Cloud at the beginning and end of the event. That was very popular. The ability upload pictures to the app was also great.

**What do you dislike about SpotMe?**

We had a server issue which was quickly resolved. Fortunately, this was between sessions so the meeting participants were unaware of the situation.

**What problems is SpotMe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

In the moment feedback from meeting participants helped us to respond to their questions efficiently and effectively. This should help meeting participants make important retirement elections more easily as their questions are addressed earlier in the decision making process giving more time to do research prior to the election deadline.

SpotMe sets itself apart by providing flexible features and robust customizations at an affordable price point. The support they offer pre-show, onsite, and post-event are second to none both through their dedicated project managers and online support channels. My SpotMe experiences have been overwhelmingly positive. From navigating short timelines to creating complex custom features to meet my clients needs, SpotMe equips me to set my clients up for success. Every project manager I've worked with has gone above and beyond to ensure my, and in turn, my client's success.

Due to the flexibility and customization of the SpotMe platform, minor bugs can sometimes pop up. Thankfully, my experience has been that the app support team is quick and responsive when issues pop up.

I love how easy spotme is to navigate for event participants, it's clear on the menu what is contained within, the ability to make the platform very visual and bespoke, making participants not feel like they are using alien technology. The Support team for Spotme are always extremely professional and always on hand, giving us confidence that our event will run well.

**What do you dislike about SpotMe?**

As I run a fairly small event (aprox 60 participants) I have found certain features such as the Q&A, voting and word cloud brilliant, but limited in their ability to transition from presentation to backstage smoothly, should these features be integrated into presentations a little easier, the overall projection would be much more slick.

**What problems is SpotMe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Crowd participation has been improved by using SpotMe, and event logistics even, being able to send notifications to attendees has been extreamly helpful. Gaining event feedback through the app has also been a huge benefit

The administrator side is absolutely nauseating to learn, navigate, and manage. It is not user-friendly at all, not intuitive at all, and is basically like learning how to code a program. I've used other event app CMS's before that are just so much easier and actually make sense. Using SpotMe Backstage is the dread of my job come event time. They really need to re-think the UX.

**Recommendations to others considering SpotMe:**

Would highly recommend viewing an in-depth demo of the CMS. The consumer-facing side of the app looks fine, but for whoever the person is that has to configure the app and do the behind-the-scene leg work - good luck.

**What do you like best about SpotMe?**

The simplicity of the whole process; from first contact, to working with the SpotMe team on the design, to the app itself! Our account manager was proactive, organised and full of fantastic ideas. Her training sessions on how to use the back-end of the app at the start of the process were detailed and engaging - there was no such thing as a silly question! She was great at challenging us on what we thought we wanted, and suggesting alternatives. Her organisation was excellent; acting like an extended member of our team and keeping us on track. No request was ever too much trouble! The app we ended up with was really brilliant, and very well received by our event delegates.

**What do you dislike about SpotMe?**

I can't think of anything. The whole process has just been fantastic and straightforward. The idea of creating an app from scratch is quite daunting, but SpotMe made it manageable.

Backstage is confusing at the start, but having tutorials with your Account Manager is invaluable and gets you up to speed quickly!

I was very impressed with the initial briefing process in terms of what SpotMe could do for us.  They were quick to align an account person to us who was very proactive, engaging and great at challenging us in our objectives and able to provide the best solutions for our needs.  Nothing was too much trouble and uploading a lot of our App content upfront really helped us to meet our deadlines and take the pressure off what we needed to deliver.  Our account project manager effectively became an extended part of our team, working and collaborating with us seamlessly.  When one of our events was taking place during her annual leave, she left contact details for us to contact us and encouraged us to regardless to ensure they delivered a high quality service.  The whole process has been clean, efficient, friendly, collaborative, innovative and extremely good value for money.

Absolutely nothing.  Great price, great customer service, great innovation and great delivery to time.  Would thoroughly recommend the team.

I really liked the free form feature, where I was able to write some notes, as well as the feature of connecting with and messaging other participants. The app is very intuitive to use, and requires practically zero experience with apps. 

**What do you dislike about SpotMe?**

In my opinion, the price for the service rendered was a bit too high, although the quality of service was excellent. We are experimenting with other similar but cheaper apps to see what are the differences in prices vs. quality and experience. We encountered some challenges also in whitelisting the app servers, but this was quickly resolved internally, once we knew what was the problem.

**Recommendations to others considering SpotMe:**

In my opinion, the price for the service rendered was a bit high, although the quality was spot on, and the app is intuitive to use. We are experimenting with other similar apps to see the difference.

**What problems is SpotMe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Better connection among meeting participants, different approach and perspective supporting the digital (r)evolution, less annoying paper. It was a new experience for the participants, who are very traditionally oriented to use pen and paper only. It was nice to see how instead of the usual "shut down your mobiles and pay attention", we were allowed and actually encouraged to use the available technology to support us in our innovative solution-creating thinking. Also it was easier to collect feedback from the group workshop activities, where everybody was supposed to send their ideas, insights and comments to the organizer.

SpotMe has great products but the products aren’t any good if they don’t have great technical support folks for us to work with. In particular, Monica has been instrumental for helping me to learn how to configure the platform for my organisation’s use. I should also mention that she has been very timely in her response and accurate in interpreting my questions.

**What do you dislike about SpotMe?**

I cannot qualify this as a ‘delike’ as it pertains more to my needs than what SpotMe had planned for. It will be great if SpotMe can consider allowing participants to upload and exchange documents in time to come. 

**Recommendations to others considering SpotMe:**

SpotMe is the go-to app if you are looking for either a community platform or an events platform. It works in almost every country (including China).

I am using SpotMe to facilitate community building and supporting learning activities with my folks. It works well but people are hampered by inability to exchange learning docs.

**What do you like best about SpotMe?**

Audrey was extremely efficient and proactive when coming into the forum. The app was populated by our event organiser and it wasn't up to standard. Audrey designed the whole of the agenda from ground up the day prior to ensure it was ready for the first day, throughout the week she was proactive it solving problem and creating solutions. All of the tech worked perfectly with out internet and AV systems. It is safe to say that Audrey saved the conference and enabled it to be completed smoothly and went above and beyond her job description.

**What do you dislike about SpotMe?**

One comment for improvement would be how Audrey refers to people that are in the room. A few times it was inappropriate to refer to someone as "he" or "she" when they are sat next to them. Apart from that Audrey was amazing to work with! 

**What problems is SpotMe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We realised with the full help of SpotMe in creating these apps it can really make a conference and allow the delegates to make the most out of their experience. SpotMe's expertise were amazing and really made the conference work to its highest potential.

We have been very late to design the content of our brainstorming and the SpotMe onsite team has made an outstanding job to implement our specific forms linked to PDFs.
Being able alos to rent iPad pros through SpotMe was also very confortable.

I would have liked to be able to upload some specific brainstorming templates in the app, in order to be able to work the exact same way we are used to during our brainstormings.

Even if the app is very flexible and allow last minute changes, If you want custom development to be made, do not wait until the last minute.

We had a very large audience who had to work on several topics during the seminar. The app helped us to have flawless logistics, by providing a personalized agenda and push notifications to the participants. Spotme also helped us to collect data in a convenient way to design our client's new strategy.

 -The app is so glitchy!!!! Something that works one session session will not work the next session and it takes so much time to fix functionality that at one time worked flawlessly
 -Long time clients get screwed bc as the app is updated the old packages you built your programs in are disabled and/or no longer function properly
 -Backstage is not user friendly atall
 -Spotme tends to over promise and then does not deliver on time or to spec
 -Contract/Invoice process is painful now'

**What do you like best about SpotMe?**

I would start by saying that the app itself is great and very customizable. I think the upside is its ability to adapt to your needs with a large selection of features which can be toggled on and off upon need. It is also very well designed in terms of visual customization. You can upload fonts, colors and other items to make the app fit your brand.

**What do you dislike about SpotMe?**

I think customization could be more user-led, sometimes I think that the back and forth with the designer could be streamlined if users were allowed to make changes/upload information themselves.

I also think that it would be nice if the app could be a bit more customizable in terms of format and layout, which is static at the moment. 

**Recommendations to others considering SpotMe:**

Yes the app is amazing, but it is the people you work with in SpotMe that really separate this company from the pack. All of our on the ground support teams have been delightful human beings, great to work with, and quick to become a part of the team they were supporting.

Spotme provides my organization with the ability to liaison with conference participants, streamlining their conference experience by sharing substance and logistics related updates and providing a singular source for conference information throughout the course, and after, the conference.
