It is very flexible. We can easily have some splits in our products and use them to roll out new features step by step. In case of any issue, we can easily disable the feature and fix the issue. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The product is excellent, there are no drawbacks. Maybe the UI is a bit complex, but that is because the product is compelling and offers many possibilities Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
* Amazing SDK support for many languages, super easy to integrate in new projects
* Audit trail (as long as your devs use it lol)
* Metrics/analytics (though I haven't made massive use of that)
* Dashboard to understand what state various splits are in
* Fast bootup/data retrievel on application boot
* Great support to allow for new splits based on different data
* Extremely simple to understand or show new devs how to launch their features Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
* Our complex test/staging/prod environment setup means that some of the dashboards are harder to follow, a way to create a custom dashboard would be great
* When using the approval system changes get applied the moment all approvals are granted, which has caught my team unaware, we know it now though (we are use to merge request workflows where the person submitting a change controls when it's applied) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Best to target set of users.
Good to know there are a lot of attributes to decide targeting.
Easy to use and implement in the project.
Good use of integrating client side and server side SDK.
Good docs and support. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
API key handling for different SDKs can be improved. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The ability to quickly and easily rollout changes incrementally by percent or customer subsets, and easily revert back if needed. Auditing the split values with the Live Tail and Monitoring is also helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Nothing comes to mind in particular, it just does what I need it to do so far. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Well rounded, comprehensive set of functions, and relatively easy to learn and implement, once you go through the documentation and guides. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Fewer integrations that are officially provided and supported that I'd expected, such as Salesforce. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I wouldn't look elsewhere - Split is the market leader here and you would be foolish to use any other platform Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
...cost - but it's not entirely unreasonable! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It does offer an SDK and feature flags.
Setup is semi simple
Has a js sdk Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
No typescript SDK
No seperate packages for client and server side SDKs
Occasional failures on the client to fetch feature flags
Ability to split traffic is behind what we had with something like LaunchDarkly. Like their distribute treatments feature isn't like a traffic split at all, and I'm not sure what their traffic split feature actually is.
UI makes it terrible to copy and paste different flags we need to use Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Using split io helped me and my team to easily experiment new features in productions. The interface is pretty clear and the product is very stable. I haven't experienced any bigger problems when using it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Some experiments has time to expire, it would be nice to set some kind of reminders in split io to remember users to remove the feature flag Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Coming from Optimizely, Split has been a breath of fresh air. The configuration, management of flags and visibility is amazing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There is little to dislike, the hardest part of any feature flagging system is keeping it organized and usable as you iterate. It's not a split issue, but a feature flagging. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
