"Secure, Easy Remote Access to Work Machines from Anywhere"
What do you like best about Splashtop Remote Access?

What I like best about Splashtop Remote Access is the ability to securely access work machines from anywhere without needing a complex VPN setup. It makes it easy to jump into a remote computer to grab files, run applications, or troubleshoot something without being physically present. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Splashtop Remote Access?

One thing I don’t particularly like is that occasional connection delays can happen if the remote machine is waking from sleep or if the host system has a weak network connection. It’s not common, but when it does occur it can take a moment longer than expected to establish the session.

Another small limitation is that some settings and administrative controls are only available through the web console rather than directly in the desktop app. It’s not a major issue, but having everything consolidated in one interface would make management a little more convenient. Overall, though, these are fairly minor compared to how well the product performs day to day. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"It just works. Fast."
What do you like best about Splashtop Remote Access?

It "just works". Easy to install, easy to access, doesn't crash, fast performance. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Splashtop Remote Access?

I dislike that there is no tagging mechanism where you can, for example, pull up all devices with a particular operating system, or are tagged as "IT machines" or whatever. There's rudimentary grouping, but a machine can't belong to multiple groups, soo... tags would be MUCH more useful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Secure, Easy Remote Access with Splashtop"
What do you like best about Splashtop Remote Access?

I find the SOS experience very straightforward for customers, which is great. The software is very prompt and does not lag, ensuring a smooth operation. It fills the gap for providing our customers with remote access to their LAN securely and effectively, which is something we really needed. I also appreciate the ease of remote access that Splashtop Remote Access provides, and it offers a more secure option than a VPN, especially with the ability to disable file transfer for added security. Additionally, the initial setup was really easy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Splashtop Remote Access?

While there is support for multiple monitors, it can be a bit of a pain for our customers to work out -- they want to use their entire home workstation (with e.g. 3 monitors) even if the computer they're accessing only has 2. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Shady Billing..."
What do you like best about Splashtop Remote Access?

We used to enjoy their great customer support and willingness to support their paying customers, but that apparently all changed when they started making some money and gaining popularity. We were recently screwed over by their billing dep not giving us time to resolve a payment issue, and I believe it was done purposefully to get us off a legacy plan that no longer suited them.

Our bill to run remote support has now doubled and we are looking into other option. I would not recommend their services to anyone for any reason. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Splashtop Remote Access?

Poor customer care team and shady billing practices that screwed us out of our legacy plan and doubled our monthly bill Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Intuitive UI, Secure Remote Access"
What do you like best about Splashtop Remote Access?

I really appreciate how Splashtop Remote Access simplifies remote connectivity for my end users, allowing them to access their work computers using their own personal devices. This functionality resolves a significant issue for us, providing flexibility and enhancing security by enabling remote support and safer sessions rather than relying on a straightforward RDP session. I am very impressed by the simplicity and ease of use of the user interface, which makes navigating the system straightforward. The capability to manage admin access per user is another feature I value highly, as it helps tailor access control to individual needs. Moreover, the ability to see the total number of users and computers listed is incredibly useful for overview purposes, as it helps manage high-level visibility without confusion, while also letting me focus on 'My Computers' for a more concise view. The initial setup of Splashtop Remote Access was notably very easy, further cementing its user-friendliness and efficiency in our daily operations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Splashtop Remote Access?

I really don't like that when adding users to each remote access, the users' emails are not listed alphabetically. This is one of the most frustrating things because it doesn't show me a full list of users either. I would appreciate having a search feature when adding users to a computer or at least listing them in their entirety and/or alphabetically. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Fast, Secure, and Cost-Effective Remote Access"
What do you like best about Splashtop Remote Access?

I appreciate the speed and simplicity of Splashtop Remote Access. It does exactly what I need, even from my smartphone. If I need a file, I can simply upload it from my computer to the remote machine without having to search for it. In industrial environments without broad Internet access, this is invaluable. Splashtop allows secure access with 2FA to machines remotely, preventing lost time in transportation, plant access, and cleaning procedures associated with physical access to sensitive areas. The initial setup was very easy, and everyone was able to use it right away with great success. We switched from TeamViewer because the price and speed of Splashtop are better. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Splashtop Remote Access?

The performance and features have improved over the years but there is always room for continuing improvement. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Effortless Remote Access with a Modern Interface"
What do you like best about Splashtop Remote Access?

I like the interface of Splashtop Remote Access because it is easy to use and better than the competition. Managing users and permissions is really simple, which is a big plus for me. The remote access speed is fantastic, providing fast response times, which is crucial since my clients use AutoCAD and other 3D programs. Also, the interface looks modern, is well-organized, clean, and functional, making it attractive. Another thing I appreciate is how easy the initial setup is. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Splashtop Remote Access?

I don't have many complaints. Perhaps to make it easy to see logs of the time spent on a computer. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Effortless Setup, Impressive Functionality but Lacking File Drag & Drop"
What do you like best about Splashtop Remote Access?

I like that Splashtop Remote Access allows us to see the last time a user has logged in and what user is currently logged in. This feature helps me know if a user has not been diligent about system updates or security measures. I found the initial setup to be incredibly easy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Splashtop Remote Access?

I don't like that the ability to restart or wake up a device never seems to work for me. I also wish the remote interface allowed for drag and drop files instead of using the file transfer tool. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Cost-Effective, Reliable Remote Access"
What do you like best about Splashtop Remote Access?

I like using Splashtop Remote Access because it offers ease and security. It performs excellently as a remote login tool, especially compared to others like VNC, TeamViewer, RemotePC, and Log Me In, where I find the price of Log Me In much higher. The installation process was straightforward, though loading it on multiple computers took some effort. Overall, I consider Splashtop far and away a better product than the others I've used, and I highly recommend it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Splashtop Remote Access?

My only complaint is that we have trouble with certain Intel graphic drivers. Artifacts of windows stay on the screen or the refresh is drastically delayed. There are mitigations for it, but it makes those particular systems hard to work with. You have to change the way the connection works in Splashtop and then you get a more reliable, albeit slow experience on that system. The only way to correct that is to fix the issue with those drivers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
