  ### 2. Secure, Easy Remote Access to Work Machines from Anywhere

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Josh G. | Information Technology Specialist, Civil Engineering, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 05, 2026

**What do you like best about Splashtop Remote Access?**

What I like best about Splashtop Remote Access is the ability to securely access work machines from anywhere without needing a complex VPN setup. It makes it easy to jump into a remote computer to grab files, run applications, or troubleshoot something without being physically present.

**What do you dislike about Splashtop Remote Access?**

One thing I don’t particularly like is that occasional connection delays can happen if the remote machine is waking from sleep or if the host system has a weak network connection. It’s not common, but when it does occur it can take a moment longer than expected to establish the session.

Another small limitation is that some settings and administrative controls are only available through the web console rather than directly in the desktop app. It’s not a major issue, but having everything consolidated in one interface would make management a little more convenient. Overall, though, these are fairly minor compared to how well the product performs day to day.

**What problems is Splashtop Remote Access solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Splashtop Remote Access helps solve the challenge of supporting multiple office locations without needing to be physically present. In my role, I’m responsible for IT across eight offices but only have technicians located in two of them. Being able to quickly remote into machines in the other locations makes it much easier to troubleshoot issues, assist users, or access systems that would otherwise require travel or coordinating with someone onsite.

This has significantly improved response times and reduced the need for site visits. Instead of waiting for someone to be available locally or scheduling a trip, I can connect directly to the system and resolve most issues immediately. It’s been a very practical tool for maintaining consistent IT support across distributed offices.

  ### 3. It just works. Fast.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jim M. | IT Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 05, 2026

**What do you like best about Splashtop Remote Access?**

It "just works". Easy to install, easy to access, doesn't crash, fast performance.

**What do you dislike about Splashtop Remote Access?**

I dislike that there is no tagging mechanism where you can, for example, pull up all devices with a particular operating system, or are tagged as "IT machines" or whatever. There's rudimentary grouping, but a machine can't belong to multiple groups, soo... tags would be MUCH more useful.

**What problems is Splashtop Remote Access solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use it to access on prem systems remotely, as well as access end user devices to provide IT support. The licensing model (where X number of agents can simultaneously access any number of machine) is critical to us. Per-machine licensing would be impossible, so paying for 3 agents to access hundreds of machines makes total sense. It's very rare that we "run out of" license because > 3 people are trying to remote it.

  ### 4. Versatile and User-Friendly Remote Access

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Vincent J F. | Prepress Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 05, 2026

**What do you like best about Splashtop Remote Access?**

I like that Splashtop Remote Access is very versatile, allowing me to access both Windows and Macintosh systems. It makes it easy for me to bounce between both OS platforms in the same place. I also find it very easy to use and user-friendly. The initial setup was very easy, which is a big plus for me.

**What do you dislike about Splashtop Remote Access?**

On occasion I lose some speed key usage and occasionally performance issues can occur.

**What problems is Splashtop Remote Access solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Splashtop Remote Access keeps our workstations and servers updated and lets me address issues outside the office. It is versatile for accessing both Windows and Mac systems, and I can easily switch between them.

  ### 5. Secure, Easy Remote Access with Splashtop

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ethan V. | St support technician, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 06, 2026

**What do you like best about Splashtop Remote Access?**

I find the SOS experience very straightforward for customers, which is great. The software is very prompt and does not lag, ensuring a smooth operation. It fills the gap for providing our customers with remote access to their LAN securely and effectively, which is something we really needed. I also appreciate the ease of remote access that Splashtop Remote Access provides, and it offers a more secure option than a VPN, especially with the ability to disable file transfer for added security. Additionally, the initial setup was really easy.

**What do you dislike about Splashtop Remote Access?**

While there is support for multiple monitors, it can be a bit of a pain for our customers to work out -- they want to use their entire home workstation (with e.g. 3 monitors) even if the computer they're accessing only has 2.

**What problems is Splashtop Remote Access solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Splashtop Remote Access provides a secure and easy way to access client computers remotely, more secure than VPN. It enables customers to use local resources and fills the gap in offering remote access to their LAN.

  ### 6. Shady Billing...

**Rating:** 1.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer & Network Security | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 19, 2026

**What do you like best about Splashtop Remote Access?**

We used to enjoy their great customer support and willingness to support their paying customers, but that apparently all changed when they started making some money and gaining popularity. We were recently screwed over by their billing dep not giving us time to resolve a payment issue, and I believe it was done purposefully to get us off a legacy plan that no longer suited them.

Our bill to run remote support has now doubled and we are looking into other option. I would not recommend their services to anyone for any reason.

**What do you dislike about Splashtop Remote Access?**

Poor customer care team and shady billing practices that screwed us out of our legacy plan and doubled our monthly bill

**What problems is Splashtop Remote Access solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It allows us to install an agent to our in hours workstations and me to remotely manage and support the users on the machines.

  ### 7. Intuitive UI, Secure Remote Access

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nicholas S. | Senior IT System Administrator, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 23, 2025

**What do you like best about Splashtop Remote Access?**

I really appreciate how Splashtop Remote Access simplifies remote connectivity for my end users, allowing them to access their work computers using their own personal devices. This functionality resolves a significant issue for us, providing flexibility and enhancing security by enabling remote support and safer sessions rather than relying on a straightforward RDP session. I am very impressed by the simplicity and ease of use of the user interface, which makes navigating the system straightforward. The capability to manage admin access per user is another feature I value highly, as it helps tailor access control to individual needs. Moreover, the ability to see the total number of users and computers listed is incredibly useful for overview purposes, as it helps manage high-level visibility without confusion, while also letting me focus on 'My Computers' for a more concise view. The initial setup of Splashtop Remote Access was notably very easy, further cementing its user-friendliness and efficiency in our daily operations.

**What do you dislike about Splashtop Remote Access?**

I really don't like that when adding users to each remote access, the users' emails are not listed alphabetically. This is one of the most frustrating things because it doesn't show me a full list of users either. I would appreciate having a search feature when adding users to a computer or at least listing them in their entirety and/or alphabetically.

**What problems is Splashtop Remote Access solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Splashtop Remote Access lets my users access work desktops from personal devices, which solved prior issues. It enables me to support multiple users securely. The UI is simple, and I can manage admin access, enhancing user experience and oversight.

  ### 8. Fast, Secure, and Cost-Effective Remote Access

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Peter W.

**Reviewed Date:** February 10, 2026

**What do you like best about Splashtop Remote Access?**

I appreciate the speed and simplicity of Splashtop Remote Access. It does exactly what I need, even from my smartphone. If I need a file, I can simply upload it from my computer to the remote machine without having to search for it. In industrial environments without broad Internet access, this is invaluable. Splashtop allows secure access with 2FA to machines remotely, preventing lost time in transportation, plant access, and cleaning procedures associated with physical access to sensitive areas. The initial setup was very easy, and everyone was able to use it right away with great success. We switched from TeamViewer because the price and speed of Splashtop are better.

**What do you dislike about Splashtop Remote Access?**

The performance and features have improved over the years but there is always room for continuing improvement.

**What problems is Splashtop Remote Access solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Splashtop Remote Access for secure remote access to troubleshoot client issues quickly. It allows us to handle updates without physical presence, saving time with 2FA security. The speed and simplicity are great, even enabling access via smartphone in areas without general Internet.

  ### 9. Effortless Remote Access with a Modern Interface

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Peter S. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 05, 2026

**What do you like best about Splashtop Remote Access?**

I like the interface of Splashtop Remote Access because it is easy to use and better than the competition. Managing users and permissions is really simple, which is a big plus for me. The remote access speed is fantastic, providing fast response times, which is crucial since my clients use AutoCAD and other 3D programs. Also, the interface looks modern, is well-organized, clean, and functional, making it attractive. Another thing I appreciate is how easy the initial setup is.

**What do you dislike about Splashtop Remote Access?**

I don't have many complaints. Perhaps to make it easy to see logs of the time spent on a computer.

**What problems is Splashtop Remote Access solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Splashtop Remote Access lets me manage clients' computers and facilitate remote work. It solves remote management and break/fix quickly, enabling users to work from home efficiently. The interface is easy to use, with fast access, crucial for using programs like AutoCAD.

  ### 10. Effortless Setup, Impressive Functionality but Lacking File Drag & Drop

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Gabriela C.

**Reviewed Date:** February 12, 2026

**What do you like best about Splashtop Remote Access?**

I like that Splashtop Remote Access allows us to see the last time a user has logged in and what user is currently logged in. This feature helps me know if a user has not been diligent about system updates or security measures. I found the initial setup to be incredibly easy.

**What do you dislike about Splashtop Remote Access?**

I don't like that the ability to restart or wake up a device never seems to work for me. I also wish the remote interface allowed for drag and drop files instead of using the file transfer tool.

**What problems is Splashtop Remote Access solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Splashtop Remote Access to set up devices and troubleshoot issues. It solves user errors, remote work limitations, and speeds up troubleshooting time. I like tracking user logins, which helps manage system updates and security measures.

  ### 11. Cost-Effective, Reliable Remote Access

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Adam P. | IT Director, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 09, 2025

**What do you like best about Splashtop Remote Access?**

I like using Splashtop Remote Access because it offers ease and security. It performs excellently as a remote login tool, especially compared to others like VNC, TeamViewer, RemotePC, and Log Me In, where I find the price of Log Me In much higher. The installation process was straightforward, though loading it on multiple computers took some effort. Overall, I consider Splashtop far and away a better product than the others I've used, and I highly recommend it.

**What do you dislike about Splashtop Remote Access?**

My only complaint is that we have trouble with certain Intel graphic drivers. Artifacts of windows stay on the screen or the refresh is drastically delayed. There are mitigations for it, but it makes those particular systems hard to work with. You have to change the way the connection works in Splashtop and then you get a more reliable, albeit slow experience on that system. The only way to correct that is to fix the issue with those drivers.

**What problems is Splashtop Remote Access solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Splashtop Remote Access for logged-in support, both attended and unattended, simplifying remote tasks with ease and security.

  ### 12. Easy Setup with Minor Access Control Challenges

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Blake H.

**Reviewed Date:** December 03, 2025

**What do you like best about Splashtop Remote Access?**

I appreciate that Splashtop Remote Access provides superior performance compared to other remote access products, especially for our CAD team, by minimizing lag and offering a seamless experience. I find it incredibly valuable that Splashtop works efficiently even for our lower-need users, mitigating issues that are typically related to end-user knowledge rather than software malfunction. The ease of installation and maintenance of this software is a significant advantage for me, as it doesn't require admin credentials for updates, simplifying technical management tasks. The web-based installer feature stands out, allowing me to send installation links to users across different companies with minimal interaction required from our internal team, significantly saving time and labor costs. Overall, I find that the initial setup of Splashtop Remote Access was remarkably easy, which made transitioning to this tool stress-free and efficient.

**What do you dislike about Splashtop Remote Access?**

I dislike the access control process for individual users in Splashtop Remote Access. It's tedious to add an entire team to a single computer through the admin portal since each user must have distinct access granted to their account. This process becomes especially cumbersome and repetitive when managing a team of 15 users.

**What problems is Splashtop Remote Access solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Splashtop Remote Access provides a seamless remote solution, eliminating latency issues for our CAD team and proving easy to install and maintain. It cuts downtime and simplifies access installation for external users, saving us labor costs.

  ### 13. Streamlined Store Operations with Remote Ease

**What do you like best about Splashtop Remote Access?**

I love using Splashtop Remote Access because it allows me to comfortably handle issues from home, without having to physically be in the store. This capability is invaluable, especially when there are problems with orders across all our stores, as I can remotely access and resolve them efficiently. This remote accessibility not only simplifies the process but also gives me the opportunity to spend more time with my family, enhancing my work-life balance. Additionally, its ease of use over the phone is a fantastic feature, allowing me to address any customer issues seamlessly. The initial setup of Splashtop Remote Access was also straightforward, taking approximately five minutes per store, which is highly commendable. Overall, I am thoroughly pleased with how everything functions perfectly and seamlessly with Splashtop Remote Access, which is why I would rate it a perfect 10 out of 10 and highly recommend it to others.

**What do you dislike about Splashtop Remote Access?**

None

**What problems is Splashtop Remote Access solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Splashtop Remote Access to log in to all POSs, handling employee clock-ins, inventory checks, and online transactions remotely. It allows me to resolve store issues from home, saving time and enhancing work-life balance.

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Accounting | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 05, 2026

**What do you like best about Splashtop Remote Access?**

The remote access allows me to troubleshoot with clients when they are working on bookkeeping programs or spreadsheets without leaving my office thereby allowing me to have a more efficient use of my time and also making it more convenient to my clients to receive support immediately when they run into problems. I use the remote access frequently; it is easy to log in and use the program. My clients find it easy to implement the program using the link to set it up on their computer.

**What do you dislike about Splashtop Remote Access?**

Sometimes internet connections are slow because some of my clients do not have updated internet connections for faster speeds.

**What problems is Splashtop Remote Access solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Splashtop Remote allows for more efficient use of my time and it is very convenient for my customers when they need support with computer problems.

  ### 15. Rock-Solid Reliability You Can Count On

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 17, 2026

**What do you like best about Splashtop Remote Access?**

Splashtop has been reliable for my use over several years.

**What do you dislike about Splashtop Remote Access?**

The reminder of maintenance which appears on the software screen until the company has completed it. Obviously this is a great that the makers are giving the user lots of time to understand the services will not be available for an hour in weeks to come. However, it would be nice if it could be acknowledged by the end user and then removed.

**What problems is Splashtop Remote Access solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Splashtop allows me to easily do software updates on client computers in the field.

  ### 16. Facilitate Remote Access, Need a Good Connection

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** HEROS T.

**Reviewed Date:** November 07, 2025

**What do you like best about Splashtop Remote Access?**

I really love Splashtop Remote Access because it greatly facilitates my tasks as a technical manager and IT specialist. It simplifies my life and makes managing computers much more seamless. Thanks to Splashtop, I can solve complex problems with a simple click, even when I'm not physically present at the office, which is a major asset in my work at the radio station where everything is automated. This software allows me to access and modify the program easily, even during a last-minute program change, without needing to be on-site. I have been using Splashtop Remote Access for over two years and I really appreciate its services. Its ease of installation is also a strong point, as all I need to do is download the software, install it, and then I can easily access all the machines. Based on my experience with other software, I have found that Splashtop Remote Access is better, especially in terms of structuring, computer access, and technical support, which further simplifies my tasks.

**What do you dislike about Splashtop Remote Access?**

What I find frustrating with Splashtop Remote Access is its reliance on a high-quality Internet connection. When I am in areas with a weak connection, like 3G instead of 4G, it becomes very difficult to access remote computers. This constraint requires a lot of patience to work efficiently remotely.

**What problems is Splashtop Remote Access solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Splashtop Remote Access to access computers remotely, solve sound issues, file access, and video connections. It facilitates the management of technical tasks and allows for program modifications without being physically present, which simplifies my work in radio.

  ### 17. Reliable and Easy Remote Access Tool

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Shane . | Sr. Customer Support and onboarding Executive, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 14, 2025

**What do you like best about Splashtop?**

I like how easy it is to connect to remote computers instantly with smooth performance and minimal lag. The interface is simple, and setup takes just a few minutes. It’s also great that it supports multiple users and devices with good security features.

**What do you dislike about Splashtop?**

Sometimes the session can drop if the internet connection is unstable, and the mobile app interface could be a bit more user-friendly. Apart from that, it works very reliably for daily use.

**What problems is Splashtop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Splashtop allows me to access client systems and work remotely without being physically present. It helps save time, improves response speed for support tasks, and makes it easy to troubleshoot or update systems from anywhere. This has greatly improved productivity and reduced downtime.

  ### 18. Great remote access agent

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tiago L. | Eng., Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 24, 2024

**What do you like best about Splashtop Remote Access?**

Good quality agent, allows for fluid and secure remote access to endpoints.

**What do you dislike about Splashtop Remote Access?**

Complicated to use in environments with HTTPS proxies.

**What problems is Splashtop Remote Access solving and how is that benefiting you?**

  ### 19. At the moment, Best Solution Available.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 05, 2026

**What do you like best about Splashtop Remote Access?**

High level of security. Simple functionality. The new vulnerability scan is impressive. Am not aware of any competitor product which rivals Splashtop in function, pricing, and security.

**What do you dislike about Splashtop Remote Access?**

Wish they would provide security updates on a more frequent basis. Specifically, it would be helpful to read what types of security updates are being issued, as security is the #1 priority for me when it comes to remote access solutions.

**What problems is Splashtop Remote Access solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Solves a lot of unnecessary travel time to go on-site for a variety of issues. Saves time while also allowing for remote system monitoring via the Splashtop status tools.

  ### 20. Fast, Secure, and Reliable Remote Access with Splashtop

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Shihan S. | Program Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 27, 2025

**What do you like best about Splashtop Remote Access?**

What I like best about Splashtop Remote Access is how it combines high-performance remote connections with broad device/platform support. It’s built so that you can access Windows & Mac

**What do you dislike about Splashtop Remote Access?**

While Splashtop delivers strong remote-access performance, it is heavily dependent on a stable, high-quality internet connection—users report issues like lag or dropped sessions when bandwidth or network conditions degrade.

**What problems is Splashtop Remote Access solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It removes the dependency on being physically at a machine or connected to a corporate‐VPN: you can remotely access work desktops, servers or development machines from anywhere.

It bridges platform and location boundaries: whether your machine is Windows, macOS, Linux, mobile or even behind virtual infrastructure, you still get access.

  ### 21. Splashtop Remote: easy to implement, with logs, secure, user management, and great support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ericson O. | Especialista de Processos, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 12, 2026

**What do you like best about Splashtop Remote Access?**

Easy-to-implement tool, logs, user management, security, customer support, and integration with other solutions.

**What do you dislike about Splashtop Remote Access?**

I did not find any negative item about Splashtop Remote.

**What problems is Splashtop Remote Access solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Users of our clients being helped by our company's Service Desk! There are various issues and we use SOS and Streamers methods.

  ### 22. Reliable service and great customer support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Julio Z. | Graphic Designer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 26, 2025

**What do you like best about Splashtop Remote Access?**

Splashtop is an easy-to-use remote desktop solution, offering a reliable connection and reasonable pricing. I used it for several months and never encountered any technical problems. Since I no longer work remotely, I stopped using the software and forgot to cancel my subscription. When it was automatically renewed, I reached out to the support team, who quickly provided a refund. Their efficiency was impressive, especially considering how rare that level of service can be these days.

**What do you dislike about Splashtop Remote Access?**

Since I had subscribed to their lowest tier, the image quality was sometimes less than ideal, which was noticeable in my work that required some color adjustment. However, it was generally adequate for my needs. I would have appreciated a reminder a few days before the new billing cycle, although I found their support team to be very efficient whenever I reached out.

**What problems is Splashtop Remote Access solving and how is that benefiting you?**

This is an excellent solution for remote work, providing useful features such as unsupervised access, a blank screen option, clipboard syncing, and flexible plans.

  ### 23. High cost-performance remote access tool that works smoothly even on limited bandwidth

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** イコカ . | Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 03, 2025

**What do you like best about Splashtop Remote Access?**

I appreciate that the entire configuration can be centrally managed, allowing fine-grained policy adjustments. Even in environments with limited bandwidth, remote support remains stable and smooth, without noticeable performance degradation. Compared to other solutions, Splashtop offers a more affordable option for both deployment and ongoing operations.

**What do you dislike about Splashtop Remote Access?**

The timing of application updates can be inconvenient — update notifications often appear just as I attempt to initiate a remote session, interrupting my workflow. Also, I’ve heard that services like Remote Access and SOS are managed under separate contracts or tenants, which makes administration more complex. It would be ideal if all Splashtop products could be managed under a unified platform.

**What problems is Splashtop Remote Access solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Splashtop Remote Access enables secure and high-performance remote access even when physical access to the corporate network is not possible, making it ideal for IT support and business continuity. One of its key strengths is the ability to maintain a stable connection even in low-bandwidth environments.

Additionally, centralized configuration and policy management allow administrators to easily manage multiple locations and users. Compared to other solutions, Splashtop is cost-effective, which lowers the barrier to both initial adoption and continued use.

  ### 24. High-FPS Performance with Custom SOS Landing Page and Active Directory and SSO Integration

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Pharmaceuticals | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 06, 2026

**What do you like best about Splashtop Remote Access?**

It offers an option for very high FPS, a customised landing page for the SOS support client, and integration with Active Directory.

**What do you dislike about Splashtop Remote Access?**

At the moment, there’s a lack of customised host groups for technicians (e.g., VIP, Favorites, slow clients, etc.), which makes it harder to organise and prioritise hosts the way we need.

**What problems is Splashtop Remote Access solving and how is that benefiting you?**

A team of 15 techs manages around 6,000 computers across the entire country. Remote input and file transfer both work well, and overall everything has been good.

  ### 25. Well worth the price for a whole year of coverage

It's easy to set up fast to connect and worth the price, I use the business version as a personal user who only needed it for the machine number increase but I liked being able to transfer files between them too now and all the other features that came with the upgrade

**What do you dislike about Splashtop Remote Access?**

I wish the personal version of splashtop had an option to pay more for more machines

**What problems is Splashtop Remote Access solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It allows me to assist my family members and friends who aren't as tech savvy as I am with computers

  ### 26. Effortless Multi-Screen Management with Intuitive Interface

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** micah m. | System Administrator, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 25, 2025

**What do you like best about Splashtop Remote Access?**

I like how easy it is to use and how you can set it to display multiple screens or if only using 1 screen the ability to switch between screens.

**What do you dislike about Splashtop Remote Access?**

One down side I encounter is initial launch of the application sometimes does not connect right away. I would need to relaunch a couple of times for it to connect.

**What problems is Splashtop Remote Access solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use it to remote to my work desktop when WFH without needing to be on a VPN.

  ### 27. Best remote control software I have ever used

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Brian E. | Technical Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 01, 2025

**What do you like best about Splashtop Remote Access?**

The confidence I have to remotely log in to the computer of people having difficulty knowing that it will be nearly like being in front of it and being able to resolve issues quickly and keep our medical offices working smoothly. We have 7 offices and so there is a need every day to log into the remote computers and I never have any doubts about being able to get in and do my job.

**What do you dislike about Splashtop Remote Access?**

Not being able to reliably wake up our computers despite having them configured to be able to be awoken from power off or sleep and having at least one other Splashtop equipped computer on the local network. Sometimes it works, but most of the time it does not.

**What problems is Splashtop Remote Access solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As the responsible technical person for our company and living several states apart from the offices I am able to monitor and support our hardware and our staff in real time, or perform maintenance tasks during off hours. This allows me to keep my current home while still performing my job where the physical computer devices are. It allows me a great deal of freedom to perform the work I need to do while not needing to travel or maintain a physical presence near all of our offices. I've been using Splashtop for about 7 years now.

  ### 28. Easy To Use, Incredible Value

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Bev K. | Editor, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 05, 2025

**What do you like best about Splashtop Remote Access?**

First I can set the time that it takes to disconnect. Therefore if I'm on the phone with a client, it doesn't disconnect and make me log back in. Therefore it's like I'm always at work even though I work remotely. I can just open that window and its ready for me.

**What do you dislike about Splashtop Remote Access?**

It was hard to find someone to work on an older work system that is MAC based. However, once we found the right combo, I'm able to use my MAC at work from my PC at home.

**What problems is Splashtop Remote Access solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I was no longer able t use the software I used to utilize. Having my computer from work at home would help but I need to access our server there as well. Other options were bogging down the system.

  ### 29. Reliable and quick tool for supporting clients

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Treldon H. | Product Support Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 20, 2025

**What do you like best about Splashtop Remote Access?**

As a software support team, connections are quick and painless using Splashtop. Unattended access is quick and easy enough for end users who have little to no experience using computers. When connected the software is simple yet robust enough to perform any needed functions. It has become a lifeline for our company and used constantly.

We've rarely had to use Splashtop support (which is saying something) but when we have, issues have been handled quickly.

**What do you dislike about Splashtop Remote Access?**

The access and functionality is great however newer limitations on accounts for unattended access is difficult for those with legacy accounts.

**What problems is Splashtop Remote Access solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As a software company we need to constantly connect to offices for support and training purposes. Splashtop allows for a quick and easy connection to offices especially in dealing with offices who have little to no computer experience. The SOS download is minimal and easy for anyone to understand. Deployment of unattended access setup files are easy and provides a quick way for continued access.

  ### 30. Very Easy to Use for End Users and Support Technicians

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Higher Education | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 10, 2026

**What do you like best about Splashtop Remote Access?**

It is very easy to use for both the end user and the technicians providing the support and very easy to get to know

**What do you dislike about Splashtop Remote Access?**

There have been a few times not been able to connect to users laptops. But these issues seem to come and go and cannot seem to pinpoint on why can not connect on these occasions

**What problems is Splashtop Remote Access solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Helping support our staff and students worldwide with quick and easy support

  ### 31. Exceptionally Reliable Software

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Micky R. | Owner, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 24, 2025

**What do you like best about Splashtop Remote Access?**

This is a reliable product, and I really appreciate being able to have three screens open at once.

**What do you dislike about Splashtop Remote Access?**

I can't say it's perfect, but I really love this product.

**What problems is Splashtop Remote Access solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I work remotely all the time, including at night and even while on vacation. I often put in long hours, and it always works reliably for me.

  ### 32. Essential Remote Access Tool for MSPs

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ryan K. | Senior Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 16, 2025

**What do you like best about Splashtop Remote Access?**

As an IT technician supporting multiple client environments, Splashtop has become an essential part of my toolkit. Whether I'm providing helpdesk support, accessing servers, or troubleshooting desktops, it delivers reliable, high-speed remote access every time.

**What do you dislike about Splashtop Remote Access?**

Adding users to specific machines is more tedious than it should be. The process isn’t very intuitive, especially when managing access across multiple clients. I'd love to see improvements in how user permissions are assigned at scale specifically a way to assign our team to all devices and user accounts to limited devices.

**What problems is Splashtop Remote Access solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Splashtop solves several common headaches that IT teams face in daily operations. Whether it's providing remote support to offsite employees, quickly accessing an on-prem server after hours, or assisting a user who's locked out of a system, Splashtop enables fast, secure access without the need for a VPN or complicated network setups. It reduces the need for on-site visits, speeds up issue resolution, and empowers technicians to work from virtually anywhere. It also eliminates downtime caused by travel or access restrictions, making it ideal for hybrid work environments and distributed teams. For MSPs, it streamlines multi-client support by centralizing remote access in one intuitive platform, improving both response time and service quality.

  ### 33. Foodland Splashtop Corporate Experience

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nicholas S. | IT Systems Administrator, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 16, 2025

**What do you like best about Splashtop Remote Access?**

My favorite thing about this is the UI and how I'm able to manage splash top users and computers. I do like how they are separated in different areas and getting users to enroll is very self-explanatory as they can do it themselves. The ease of implementation is very easy. I haven't used the customer support as the product has been seamless. Users use this program daily and I recommend this product over RDP as it is safer. And like I said ease of integration is very good.

**What do you dislike about Splashtop Remote Access?**

One of the things I don't like about managing splash top is when you add uses to computers there isn't a way to filter the user you want to add, you have to search for the user and that's really hard especially when you have a lot of users enrolled in the platform.

**What problems is Splashtop Remote Access solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We were hacked at one point so having a ease of mind that end users are using a protected product to RDP puts my mind at ease

  ### 34. Splashtop - Great Remote Access Software.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Frank M. | Owner, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 05, 2025

**What do you like best about Splashtop Remote Access?**

This has significantly increased my earning potential while drastically reducing travel costs and time to resolution.
The sessions are encrypted, so I have very little concern about security. I use a password that I generate to allow access, so even if someone gains access to my account, they would not be able to access any systems remotely.
It is well-suited for attended and unattended support of computers.
I have had very little need for support but when I do they are very responsive

**What do you dislike about Splashtop Remote Access?**

Support of iOS devices is limited to the SOS product, which is a limitation I'd like to see removed. I think iOS access should be rolled into the base product.

**What problems is Splashtop Remote Access solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I can resolve most issues remotely. Greatly reduces the cost of support.

  ### 35. Simple Install, use splash top!

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Eli A. | Network Administrator, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 12, 2026

**What do you like best about Splashtop Remote Access?**

It was a simple install via Ninja One. Made it easy, with one click, to get on any machine. Worked very well and did not have any issues.

**What do you dislike about Splashtop Remote Access?**

At times, there was significant lag when working with customers.

**What problems is Splashtop Remote Access solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is faster, depending on the issue, to use Splashtop rather than going to the user.

  ### 36. Rock solid reliability on remote access with a little more work needed on the AV feature.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Warehousing | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 29, 2025

**What do you like best about Splashtop Remote Access?**

We’ve been using Splashtop Remote Access for three years, and it has consistently delivered reliable access for our employees working from home or on mobile devices. Connections are always fast and stable, and the interface is very intuitive. The streamer is simple to deploy on computers, and whenever I’ve had questions, the live chat support has been excellent in providing quick answers. We use it daily in our work environment, and the pricing is very reasonable. I highly recommend this product

**What do you dislike about Splashtop Remote Access?**

Splashtop’s remote access works very well, but the built-in antivirus feature still feels limited compared to other solutions. One improvement I’d like to see is making the antivirus dashboard accessible from mobile devices, so administrators can easily monitor and manage threats on the go. Additionally, the threat notifications can sometimes be vague or difficult to interpret, and the level of support around these alerts could be stronger. Overall, the remote access experience is excellent, but the antivirus functionality has room for improvement.

**What problems is Splashtop Remote Access solving and how is that benefiting you?**

IT support remotely and providing employees access from the road.

  ### 37. Simple to implement, simple to use.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Blake M. | E commerce Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 26, 2025

**What do you like best about Splashtop Remote Access?**

Splashtop is a quick and easy solution to accessing office workstations while out of the office. Getting it up and running is super simple, it allows access to multiple workstations across multiple users, and is accessible across multiple devices.

**What do you dislike about Splashtop Remote Access?**

Splashtop is ultimately streamer - so you are going to get the downsides of "streaming" your workstation to an external device no matter how good it is. There is a slight delay/lag, and if you have a different number of monitors at work and on your remote device, switching between the different screens can be a pain. But for anything less than having a standalone workstation at your house, this is a pretty great solution.

**What problems is Splashtop Remote Access solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It allows multiple employees to access their office workstations while away from the office. It's very beneficial for the sales team when they are on the road.

  ### 38. Fast, Reliable, and User-Friendly Remote Access

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tobias J. | CISO, Information Technology and Services, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 06, 2026

**What do you like best about Splashtop Remote Access?**

I like how quick it is to launch Splashtop Remote Access and how good the control is when I use it. I especially like the file sharing, that's a really strong feature. It was super easy to set up Splashtop Remote Access.

**What do you dislike about Splashtop Remote Access?**

I would like even better picture quality when I remote control.

**What problems is Splashtop Remote Access solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Splashtop Remote Access helps me gain fast and easy control of all the workstations.

  ### 39. Reliable Remote Access That's Easy to Use

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dan M. | President, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 19, 2025

**What do you like best about Splashtop Remote Access?**

I like that Splashtop Remote Access mirrors my agency management system, making it feel like I'm in the office with no real change. It's also easy to use, which is a big plus for me.

**What do you dislike about Splashtop Remote Access?**

I occasionally can't sign in to Splashtop Remote Access, but other than that, everything's fine.

**What problems is Splashtop Remote Access solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Splashtop Remote Access solves the issue of working from home by allowing me to access my agency management system remotely. It's easy to use and mirrors my system, making remote work feel just like being in the office.

  ### 40. Works well, but online chat support is lacking

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** melissa C. | Executive Assistant/ Office Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 02, 2025

**What do you like best about Splashtop Remote Access?**

It works well, and is easy to set up and use. Love the accessibility and responsiveness of staff and support when I submit a ticket. Very clear and concise answers, quick responses, and helpful.

**What do you dislike about Splashtop Remote Access?**

Online chat has been extremely frustrating. Staff can't answer a simple question and simply keep restating what I already know. We kept going in circles and I actually thought I was talking to a bot.

**What problems is Splashtop Remote Access solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It allows me to connect with my work computer from my home laptop, which allows me to handle any issues or troubleshoot work issues from virtually anywhere.

  ### 41. Started off great, still is, but certain issues have the situation on a slight downtrend.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer & Network Security | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 15, 2025

**What do you like best about Splashtop Remote Access?**

Fast, reliable. I rarely have any issues with it and it's easy to assign user accounts to groups/machines I want them to access.

**What do you dislike about Splashtop Remote Access?**

The fact that more and more MSP's and third-party services companies are using your software! It becomes a situation where I lose unattended access to a client's workstation because they have to install someone else's version of Splashtop on the machine. This has become an all too common problem. I need to be able to allow 3rd parties access to machines just as I do with the users under my own control, or I'm stuck with attended SOS access on a machine only. I know there's an enterprise version and those users can configure their setup to not interfere with my access, but the folks using that version, or who know how to set that up are few and far between. There are also recent graphics artifacts and certain mouse glitches, almost like scaling issues, which seem to only occur on Windows 11 boxes since its come on the scene that has bust my nuts.

**What problems is Splashtop Remote Access solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I need to be able to immediately hop on my client's machines. Splashtop is quick and easy.

  ### 42. Very simple for everyday use, ideal for quickly assisting users

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Manufacturing | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 09, 2026

**What do you like best about Splashtop Remote Access?**

Very simple to use on a daily basis, this tool allows me to quickly troubleshoot my users.

**What do you dislike about Splashtop Remote Access?**

I have no negative points to give.

**What problems is Splashtop Remote Access solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I can easily troubleshoot my users because we deploy it easily on all computers and then they automatically appear in the admin console.

  ### 43. Good Experiance

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** peyus k. | developer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 02, 2025

**What do you like best about Splashtop Remote Access?**

Splashtop is known for delivering low-latency and high-frame-rate remote sessions. It supports 4K streaming at 60fps and minimal lag, even for graphics-heavy applications. This makes it suitable not only for standard remote support but also for creative professionals working with CAD, video editing, or design software.

**What do you dislike about Splashtop Remote Access?**

Splashtop's feature set is more robust on Windows-to-Windows or Windows-to-Mac connections. Mac-to-Mac users sometimes report:

Limited file transfer options

Occasional compatibility or performance hiccups

Fewer administrative controls compared to Windows setups

**What problems is Splashtop Remote Access solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Splashtop enables employees to remotely access their office desktops from home using their personal devices—securely and with high performance.
Benefit:

Maintains productivity even outside the office

Eliminates the need to transport sensitive files or laptops

Supports hybrid and remote work policies seamlessly

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Glen T. | CTO, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 09, 2025

**What do you like best about Splashtop Remote Access?**

Splashtop was easy to implement and users adapted quickly. Application deployment and antivirus solution to each workstation was simple. The ability to remote from anywhere with any device, including the web, has made Splashtop a choice solution over other options. And to top it off, to see a user’s phone as you walk them through problems makes all the difference. All of this for a reasonable price.

**What do you dislike about Splashtop Remote Access?**

Although it isn’t a must, I wish I could manage computers and groups from the application instead of having to log into the website

**What problems is Splashtop Remote Access solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Remote Desktop is too vulnerable and other solutions are too costly. Splashtop fixes this.

  ### 48. Effortless to Use and Deploy

Updates seem to happen slowly, and manual updates can be tedious.

**What problems is Splashtop Remote Access solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It enables us to easily remote access PC's, so we aren't running all over the place working on issues. This gives us a faster response time to issues and saves time and effort for the IT department.

  ### 49. Perfect for K-12 schools!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** David M. | Technology Director, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 03, 2025

**What do you like best about Splashtop Remote Access?**

Small footprint takes up very little of the student laptop resources. Students can not uninstall or kill the client. It is great for when you need to remote help or remote push out something at is a one off. I use it 10+ times a day in our environment. We have 3,000 devices. We will also use it to see when the last time a device was active and what the IP was to help us find lost or stolen devices. I live the grouping and favorite features, I have my 'watch list' of students. We use it as a remote audio tool as well... when we need to setup a presentation with a projector away from the sound system we simply slashtop into the laptop next to the projector and use the remote connection for the audio out to the sound system. has worked flawlessly for us on multiple occasions. Sure beats running a mic cable with a DI box. I can not say enough nice things about my customer service rep. The is there to help me every time i have a licensing question, he also understood clearly how K-12 differs from an Enterprise, especially around budgeting. Implementing was a breeze over inTune, i could not have asked for an easier integration!

**What do you dislike about Splashtop Remote Access?**

1. Really really dislike the update process for the for the app (not the streamer client). In the middle of logging in it pops up and tells you that you need an update, ok, sure, it would be nice if it waited until after you log in, 99% of the time if disrupts the login. When you hit cancel for the update it says do you want to exit the program... what a poor choice of words, makes it sound like you are exiting splashtop, not the updater. It sucks how many times when i am in a hurry that it pops up and i pause to think about that. It would be better to have a banner in the app that says you have an update and you click that instead of being intrusive.

2. Needs a 'silent' connection option for the streamer. There are times when we need to covertly monitor student activity for safety concerns or school rule violations. It is not possible with splashtop, each connection pops up with a 'so and so is not accessing your computer' this tool would be perfect for k-12 schools if it wasn't for that.

3. big wish, it would be nice if you actually had a dos box, instead of sending commands to dos.

**What problems is Splashtop Remote Access solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Remote support. Student laptops are tough to manage since students are constantly moving all over campus. Splashtop lets us connect whenever we want wherever they are. I have been at work 3 hours and have used Splashtop 4 times to solve simple problems in minutes.

  ### 50. Effortless Remote Access, Constantly Evolving
