"finally a support tool that meets security requirements in the hospital environment"
5/5
What do you like best about Splashtop Remote Support?

We previously used other solutions that did not guarantee the security of connections, nor the cross-platform aspect, and even less the power of the tool. Here, in addition, the support is TOP-notch, and that is so rare. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Splashtop Remote Support?

Nothing to report in particular about the product Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I can immediately click on a Turquoise computer name and it allows me to connect immediately. Also, it is very responsive although at times, I have had to re-establish the connection. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Essential Remote Support with Stellar Service"
5/5
What do you like best about Splashtop Remote Support?

I like the file transfer and chat functions during my connections. Splashtop Remote Support has always provided me with great support, especially during COVID when I was managing a school IT system. The file transfer option is really useful as I can transfer installation files from my laptop to the remote computers ahead of time. The chat function is convenient when a client is at their desk, making it easier than being on the phone sometimes. Also, the initial setup was very simple. I've stuck with Splashtop because of the support I've received over the years. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Splashtop Remote Support?

Sometimes the remote service stops or logs off without notifying me. If my account is logged out on the client side, I would like to receive a notification (e.g. email or in the app). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Efficient Remote Support with Minor Connectivity Issues"
4/5
What do you like best about Splashtop Remote Support?

I like how Splashtop Remote Support allows us to support our customers remotely without having to visit sites anymore. I find the headless access feature particularly valuable as it gives us access to servers without needing to be on site. This feature also allows us to set up headless units wherever needed without worrying about access once they're installed. Additionally, I appreciate how the setup was really easy and only took five to ten minutes with everything integrated. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Splashtop Remote Support?

The connectivity isn't always as seamless as it should be, and sometimes you have to restart the streamer process. The copy and paste function sometimes fails as well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Effortless Remote Support with Splashtop"
4/5
What do you like best about Splashtop Remote Support?

I really like the ease of use with Splashtop Remote Support. It allows me to easily remote into saved computers or connect by providing users with a link. Once connected, I can navigate the computer, flip between screens, and do file transfers when needed. I found the initial setup to be very easy. We chose Splashtop after researching other products and found its features offered the best value for the cost. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Splashtop Remote Support?

I would really like it if they added a backend CLI to be able to run quick commands without doing a full screen connection. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Incredibly Intuitive and Versatile Remote Support"
5/5
What do you like best about Splashtop Remote Support?

I love using Splashtop Remote Support as it makes it easy to manage all of our company computers through both a web browser and their dedicated app. The ease of use is amazing, and I love how quick and seamless it is to move between systems. The granular controls are fantastic, allowing me to adjust session performance metrics like FPS and resolution. Another feature I appreciate is the virtual display driver, which lets me simulate multiple display setups on a single-screen laptop, maximizing productivity. The intuitive dashboard is incredibly useful, providing a clear breakdown of operating systems, software versions, and antivirus status across devices. It's indispensable for managing our equipment inventory, whether online or offline. The tracking of remote user sessions is another helpful tool, aiding in audit and decision-making processes. Installing Splashtop is a breeze, and even the email link installation option is incredibly convenient, especially for remote machines. The cross-platform support is great, working smoothly on Windows and macOS, and though Linux support has its challenges, it's appreciated that it's available. I'm definitely impressed with the service, and I'd highly recommend it for those using Windows, as it's well-integrated and familiar to our staff. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Splashtop Remote Support?

I'd really like to see maybe a bit more of certain inventory things. Splashtop is really working towards getting better at inventory management, but it would be really cool to see some more options. Another thing I would like to see is if there's any other way to remotely install software through Splashtop. It's not something I'm exactly looking for, but it would be nice to see something like that improved. Also, installing it on Linux is an absolute pain sometimes because it does not work well like you might think it does. You might have blurry images, font problems, and scaling problems. "Essential Tool with Easy Remote Access, Minor Streamer Glitch"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Splashtop Remote Support?

I like that Splashtop Remote Support is easy to use – I pushed the Splashtop Streamer to each computer using Microsoft InTune, and after that, remoting in is as easy as clicking on a computer. The AEM dashboard is immediately available for me to see each computer's status and perform fixes if necessary. It allows me to virtually be present on each computer, making maintenance and addressing staff concerns feasible without having to physically travel. Splashtop also helps clarify issues more clearly than Microsoft does sometimes, allowing me to decide whether to use Splashtop or InTune to implement solutions. The setup was straightforward; I just needed to upload the deployment package to InTune, push it out, and it was done. Overall, the remote access and monitoring capabilities are crucial and affordable given our budget constraints. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Splashtop Remote Support?

The main issue I have with Splashtop not working is that a laptop can only be accessed if they are on, open, and the streamer is still functional. Often when the laptop goes to sleep, the streamer stops working, and the user has to restart the computer in order for me to be able to remote in. The staff are pretty good about it, but it's the one major downside. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Essential Tool for Seamless Remote Support"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Splashtop Remote Support?

I like that Splashtop Remote Support is our primary tool for remote support. It's essential for remote work, allowing us to not be in front of a troubled computer. I also appreciate its comprehensive feature set, which is constantly being improved or added to, like the ability to send remote commands without having to physically connect to an end user's device. This feature is extremely valuable as it allows us not to interrupt users while they work. The price point of Splashtop Remote Support is exceptional, and the setup was extremely straightforward, with the agent deploying as you would with any other MSI. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Splashtop Remote Support?

The desktop console app for administrators sometimes crashes or hangs. I've noticed this recently. I hope they improve the reliability of it, as this has only been an issue over the last 6 months or so. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Unmatched Remote Access with Impressive Timeliness"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Splashtop Remote Support?

I like being able to log in without a delay, which is very important to us. I appreciate all the different features, including the ability to turn off the screen and continue working. Splashtop Remote Support is one of the best tools we use. The timeliness and timeline feature are crucial because we work with flying an aircraft in simulation and need to control the aircraft from abroad. The initial setup was very easy and seamless, and we've been using it for three years now after recommendations. It's been fantastic in terms of security compared to other software we've tried. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Splashtop Remote Support?

I would love to have access to BIOS early on. It's a challenge using multiple computers at once, but Splashtop works well with it. We also experience a lot of blocking from various clients due to access issues, requiring IT policy approvals. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
