## Splash Reviews
  ### 1. Quick and easy RSVP Tool - once you figure it out

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Food & Beverages | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 15, 2023

**What do you like best about Splash?**

Once I had the basics down and understood the way the templates worked it was easy to manipulate into new events. Also, the outreach tools are very helpful.

**What do you dislike about Splash?**

The learning curve was steeper than I might expect and one of our templates had a glitch, but I was able to report it and the support team fixed the error.

**What problems is Splash solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Splash makes collecting, monitoring, and following up with RSVPs easier than I could ever do on my own. It also makes that task transferrable to a colleague if need be.

  ### 2. Easy to use

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Bailey M. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 08, 2023

**What do you like best about Splash?**

Easy to use, onboarding is simple and straightforward, sales team is helpful and moves quickly, good support articles

**What do you dislike about Splash?**

There are some limiting design functionalities that make it difficult to create and design an event page outside of their pre-designed templates. Some templates are not mobile-optimized.

**What problems is Splash solving and how is that benefiting you?**

RSVP and event landing pages

  ### 3. Splash has been great for templatizing and making event creation turnkey.

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Accounting | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 10, 2023

**What do you like best about Splash?**

Their check-in app that is accessible on smart phones makes it simple for anyone anywhere to do check-in.

**What do you dislike about Splash?**

It is not as user-friendly to design your landing pages and templates for a non-design-trained person as other platforms.

**What problems is Splash solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Splash makes it much quicker to create event elements by being able to create events from themes. It also utilizes code so you can plug in the Title once, and it populates everywhere throughout the landing page, emails, calendar attachment, etc. which saves us a lot of time.

  ### 4. Splash is good for every scale of events

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kali M. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 08, 2023

**What do you like best about Splash?**

I like the premade templates and how you can change around fonts.

**What do you dislike about Splash?**

I don't like how you cannot add a guest without an email. There are times when I need to quickly add a name but I can't.

**What problems is Splash solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Making the event platform organized and easy to digest

  ### 5. Splash is a great webinar hosting platform

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 26, 2023

**What do you like best about Splash?**

The best part of Splash is the SFDC integration for events. Bypassing any of the list upload process is a big feat for virtual events, so this integration is super nice to have.

**What do you dislike about Splash?**

I don't like how difficult it can be to figure out the confirmation emails/pop ups for Splash. When copying templates, its a bit difficult to double-check every single confirmation pop up.

**What problems is Splash solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Splash is solving the problem of using multiple platforms for virtual events (ex. Zoom, list uploads, SFDC, landing page creation, etc).

  ### 6. Good webinar platform

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Telecommunications | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 08, 2023

**What do you like best about Splash?**

Easy to use once logged in.
External users can see what you want to see and its nice to stage and get ready for presentations.

**What do you dislike about Splash?**

Cuts out at times when sharing.
Hard to be a user who hosts, the code for presenter doesnt always work as the browser cache's the info and if doing multiple presentations a week have to clear browser cache
One user per unique ID, sometimes people share if they didnt register in time

**What problems is Splash solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Good metrics on who registered, vs who joined, very valuable information to see if the effort / market / audiance is working for your business needs to continue investing in those spaces

  ### 7. Useful tool, but not user friendly and often fails

**What do you dislike about Splash?**

Can require some coding at times which was hard to pick up on.

**What problems is Splash solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Creates amazing landing page for event collateral and information. Tracks RSVPs quickly so I do not have to do it by hand. Easy to pull reports and metrics which are vital to our office.

  ### 11. Splash Review

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 25, 2023

**What do you like best about Splash?**

Design resources (clean, easy to use), upkeep in relevant features (virtual, in-person, check-in), Easy to use interface on the backend as an admin and overall UI, dedicated customer support team intentionally check-in and offer timely assitance.

**What do you dislike about Splash?**

Difficult use case for our team to leverage Splash internally due to security concerns. Solutions appear to be overly complex such as SSO integration have been a constant back and forth. Given Splash's cabailities in other areas, it would be ideal if security features would be just as simple vs. complex to implement.

**What problems is Splash solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Work in progress - solving for security impelmentations to be able to use the platform internally.

The ability to create consistency across teams who will use the tool in the same way. Branding won't fall out of line due to its template and access capabilities.

  ### 17. Review of Splash Event Landing Pages

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Devon G. | Channel Campaign Specialist, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 15, 2022

**What do you like best about Splash?**

Splash is one of the most intuitive software I've ever used. Splash has thought of everything. When I am building Event Landing pages, I often think" I wonder if it does this?" and within five minutes, I realize IT DOES... I have yet to find something Splash cannot do in terms of Event management. It's so easy to use and has a beautiful interface. 10/10 for Splash.

**What do you dislike about Splash?**

I haven't found any issues with Splash. I'm very pleased with how this software works and enjoy using it. The only improvement would be making child Splash pages. I have to create many Event Landing Pages across our partners that all have the same event information. It would be great if there was a master control where if I had to change an element of one page, it would trickle down to the rest of the pages.

**What problems is Splash solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Splash makes it easy for me to quickly spin up Event Landing pages for our partners to use. I have multiple coworkers that need access to these editable pages. Since Splash is so intuitive, anyone is able to access the pages and quickly make edits as needed. I didn't need to be trained on Splash to understand how to use it. Also, I love how you can change the page URL so they are unique to each partner.

**Official Response from John Wayne:**

> Hi Devon:
Thank you for the review. We're glad to hear Splash is a 10/10 for you.
Let me know if you ever need any assistance. I will attach a link below for you.

There is no undo button on the event page editing!

**What problems is Splash solving and how is that benefiting you?**

A new place to hold out virtual webinars & creating a space for interactivity.

**Official Response from John Wayne:**

> Thank you for the review. We're glad to hear you think Splash is a good events system.
I hear you on the "undo" button... it's on the list of feature updates.
Let me know if you ever need any assistance.

I'd love the opportunity to address your issues with random numbers and letters in the emails. This, I think is coming from the accessibility text in your email template. Please see the support article below and I hope it helps you get the answers you need.

You can email me at haley.kaplan@splashthat.com, and I'd be happy to get you more help and answers.

  ### 34. Customer support is extremely helpful, and we can do just about everything we need on Splash.

**Reviewed by:** Bridget G. | Digital Event Program Specialist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 09, 2022

**What do you like best about Splash?**

We host monthly virtual events and need a platform where we can host landing pages and send out event invites all in one place. Splash is the go-to platform for us! It helps us gain leads for our business by providing an easy-to-use registration page and form for our audience.

Limited ability to customize forms, banners and such

**What problems is Splash solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Being able to manage and review registration via splash

  ### 36. Great events marketing tool

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Faye O. | Partner Marketing Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 15, 2022

**What do you like best about Splash?**

Generally, it's easy to use and intuitive. It doesn't take long for us to launch a new event and set up the page.

**What do you dislike about Splash?**

Sometimes I struggle to find things in the editor that I need; it's not always as flexible as I'd like. There are just a couple of things missing fo me.

**What problems is Splash solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's removed the need to involve multiple parties in creating a landing page which saves us a lot of time as a team.

**Official Response from John Wayne:**

> Hi Faye:
Thank you for the review. We're glad to hear you are successfully using Splash for new events.
Let me know if you ever need any assistance or want to talk to someone about what is missing.
I'd love to hear your suggestions.

  ### 37. Simple features but the user experience could be improved

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Design | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 10, 2022

**What do you like best about Splash?**

Splash allows managing different aspects of an event in a quite simple way. And it has a very fast support team always ready to help.

**What do you dislike about Splash?**

Some issues are not so simple to understand and fix, in particular about guests list management of an event hub.
Another very important thing is that users can't duplicate pages or create themes by themselves. I understand the privacy and legal matters, but these are very useful features that should be open to everyone who works in a specific team, it would save a lot of time. And the legal issues should be managed in other ways, for example the "legal/privacy parts" could be locked.
One last thing is about sending emails: it would be great to set an automatic sending of some emails (CRM), for example a campaign of "onboarding emails".
Regarding tracking links, RSVP and views data should be downloadable!

**What problems is Splash solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Splash allows building a website in a very fast and simple way, and it has a lot of integrated features about guests management and streaming of virtual event. It's a quite complete tool.

**Official Response from John Wayne:**

> Thank you for the review. We're glad you like the simplicity of our features and usability.
I love your additional feature suggestions. I will pass these on to product.
Let me know if you ever need any assistance.

  ### 38. Professional Looking Event Assets for the Busy Marketer

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Chelsea S. | Partner Marketing Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 17, 2022

**What do you like best about Splash?**

Splash is effortless to use and learn, and I know many programs out there claim to be easy, but Splash actually is! I have had to wait weeks for Landing Pages for webinars, live events, and conferences to be created by marketing ops, but with Splash, I can get all that work done in a matter of hours. The best part is that I never have to compromise the customer experience. Every event page is both attractive and efficient.

**What do you dislike about Splash?**

Splash is not an email marketing automation platform and so it performs best when paired with a technology like Marketo (which it easily integrates with). Yes, Splash can send some invite emails and of course, reminders and confirmations, but it can be challenging to manage lead acquisition. Additionally, some of the UI can be tricky to use if you like to personalize every aspect of a landing page. My team created beautiful templates to use, but let's say you need to add a partner to the event or change the color of the text, or something else that is outside the constraints of the template, it can be difficult to tailor the template to your specific needs.

**What problems is Splash solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Most marketing automation platforms have very difficult and limited landing page templates to use. The creation of said templates is limited to the marketing ops team and can take weeks to develop (not to mention the HTML edits). With Splash, regular event marketers can easily create event assets and manage their entire event from within Splash itself. Our marketing ops team can spend more time managing important matters like leads and reporting, and event marketers can work quicker and more efficiently.

**Official Response from Haley Kaplan:**

> Chelsea: Thank you for the review. We're glad that our Splash helps you and your team save time and not compromise the customer experience.

If we can help you with anything, just let us know.

  ### 39. Clunky and frustrating

**Rating:** 2.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jess L. | Senior strategic marketing manager, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 15, 2022

**What do you like best about Splash?**

It is easy to download guest lists and check-in process. I like that Splash can be synced with SFDC and that recordings can be hosted. It is also easy to view events for the company and add collaborators.

**What do you dislike about Splash?**

Templates/landing pages are extremely clunky. Slow save process. Back-end set-up isn't intuitive and it would be nice if I could automatically link a splash page to a campaign in Salesforce.

**What problems is Splash solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Splash provides a registration page platform that can be used for virtual or in-person events. It can be synced with Zoom and send calendar appointments via the Zoom instance.

**Official Response from John Wayne:**

> Hi Jess:
Thank you for the review. I'm sorry to hear that your experience has been less than satisfactory.
Let me know if we can help you with your Salesforce integration, and any other issues you may be having.
I'll attach our support link below. We also host how to trainings each month as well as have an LMS with all the trainings on each part of our platform.

  ### 40. Great and easy to use!

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jenna P. | Talent Branding Specialist, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 15, 2022

**What do you like best about Splash?**

Once you get the hang of the editing tools, it is user friendly and support staff answers on time

**What do you dislike about Splash?**

If you are a brand new user, editing the page can take some getting used to and making new blocks is not as simple as it shoul dbe

**What problems is Splash solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Being able to create multiple pages and track ROI

**Official Response from John Wayne:**

> Hi Jenna:
Thank you for the review. We're glad to hear Splash is an "easy and use", and that you use it to create event pages and track ROI.
Let me know if you ever need any assistance.

  ### 41. Great program with frustrating limitations

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jordan W. | Executive Assistant, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 12, 2022

**What do you like best about Splash?**

The design! It always looks beautiful when the finished product is in place. Integrations with zoom and data collection points make recapping the event and getting a solid look on who showed up fairly easy too. Customer service is also rather helpful - getting back to us almost immediately when we have problems that need to be fixed.

**What do you dislike about Splash?**

Designing the pages can be an absolute slog. There is no simple way to move anything, adjust any sizes, change any colors, etc. We've been stuck using the exact same design for two years because any adjustments would be way too much work to implement. I also wish customer service, rather than just going ahead and fixing our issue for us, would take the time to explain how to do what is needed, so that we don't need to reach out again in future cases.

**Recommendations to others considering Splash:**

If you're not doing anything too fancy, this is the program for you! If you are making very bespoke event pages however, might be worth looking into other products, or at least be aware of the difficulty of creating anything overly unique.

**What problems is Splash solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It makes the entire process of running online events easier. We love how quickly we can get an event up and running, execute it, and then come back to do some proper analysis. The analysis part in particular is best - We get an insane amount of data from Splash, and can customize it however we need to best fit our research goals.

**Official Response from John Wayne:**

> Jordan - Thank you for the review. I'm sorry to hear about the issues you are having with the amount of time it takes to customize the pages. I'd love to get on a call with you to learn how we can improve our process and get you more help. I like your suggestion on teaching customers how to fix pages and not just fixing them. Feel free to email me at john.wayne@splashthat.com.

  ### 42. Easy to Learn Platform

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Miriam V. | Head of Digital Solutions, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 09, 2022

**What do you like best about Splash?**

Splash has an extensive amount of resources, webinars and training videos to help even the most basic of user create a really impactful website and registration system.

**What do you dislike about Splash?**

The one down side to splash is the inability to create sites with multiple pages rather than a single page website with multiple sections, this restriction can cause lenghtly website.

**What problems is Splash solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Using splash means we aren't constantly trying to find different event platforms for each of our clients, we can really develop out skill on splash meaning we can deliver higher quality solutions.

**Official Response from John Wayne:**

> Hi Miriam:
Thank you for the review. We're glad that you've been able to learn about the platform with all of our educational lessons.
Let me know if you ever need any assistance or want to see some examples of how others have expanded their one page events.

  ### 43. Event-oriented marketing couldn't be easier than it is now

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jessie A. | Junior Designer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 18, 2022

**What do you like best about Splash?**

It is a unique resource when it comes to doing event-oriented marketing, it has helped us make a significant leap of improvement. It has a pretty nice interface that makes it easy to navigate and take advantage of its features. We have been able to launch events, follow up on them and channel customers, it has been a resource that has generated opportunities to take advantage of each event.

**What do you dislike about Splash?**

So far nothing, it has not given any kind of problem, on the contrary, its operation has been correct and its performance has been as expected.

**What problems is Splash solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It has been very useful for our marketing team because it has lightened workflows and streamlined processes related to event marketing thanks to its automation. It has also been of great help in tracking campaigns and channeling clients from the events executed.

**Official Response from John Wayne:**

> Hi Jessie:
Thank you for the review. We're glad that Splash is working great for you.
Let me know if you ever need any assistance.

  ### 44. Good experience overall, a bit glitchy

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 15, 2022

**What do you like best about Splash?**

I like the customization of the landing pages, rsvp cards and questions, and how I can choose from a huge gallery of photos to customize my landing pages to appropriately reflect the vibe of the event!

**What do you dislike about Splash?**

I have had a lot of trouble when saving my works in progress - I get an error that says "Sorry, splash has crashed, our team is working on it." It frankly slows down my work on splash significantly. I also don't like having to hit "save" it should be autosave.

**What problems is Splash solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Splash really helps us integrate our customer registrations with other products like SFDC, which helps us to seamlessly track the impact of our events on the overall business.

**Official Response from John Wayne:**

> Thank you for the review. We're glad to hear Splash is a "good experience overall".
Let me know if you ever need any assistance on your challenges. That sounds frustrating, and it should not be happening.
There is also an 'Autosave check box' at the top of the editor, just check it.

  ### 45. Great Events Marketing Platform with easy integrations with existing Marketing systems!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 31, 2022

**What do you like best about Splash?**

I love how easy it was to set Splash up. We were able to get it connected with Marketo, Salesforce, and Zoom with ease, and the tracking and metrics we're able to gather from Splash are invaluable!

**What do you dislike about Splash?**

Roles and permissions in Splash leave a lot to be desired. We're only allowed one admin, and have to consistently shift the admin around to provide permissions to different people at the organization to do what they need.

**What problems is Splash solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We're an all remote company with a hybrid set of virtual and on-site events. Splash helps us track marketing, metrics, attendees, and follow ups with one tool that has simple integrations with the rest of our marketing stack!

**Official Response from John Wayne:**

> Thank you for the review. We're glad to hear you are successfully using Splash with Marketo, Salesforce, and Zoom.
Let me know if you ever need any assistance or want to talk to someone about the roles and permissions.

  ### 46. Easy and user-friendly platform

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 16, 2022

**What do you like best about Splash?**

I find it helpful to have pre-made layouts and templates that make it super easy to mantain high number of landing pages.

**What do you dislike about Splash?**

I don't like that settings get complicated and I am not able to schedule emails to attendees.

**What problems is Splash solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Building landing pages more easy and faster, making it easiliy accessible even for those who are not in marketing.

**Official Response from John Wayne:**

> Thank you for the review. We're glad to hear Splash is an "easy and user-friendly platform", and that you find our pre-made templates amazing.
Let me know if you ever need any assistance on email scheduling. That is a feature we do have and customers love it. I will attach a link below for you.

  ### 47. Splash is a breeze

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** everest d. | Field Marketer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 17, 2022

**What do you like best about Splash?**

The intuitive layout and ease of use. Once you have a few basics down, you're good to go!

**What do you dislike about Splash?**

Learning those first few basics can be a barrier for entry but with a beautiful platform like Splash, it's easy to move past.

**What problems is Splash solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Creating landing pages for our prospects and events.

**Official Response from John Wayne:**

> Hi Everest:
Thank you for the review. We're glad to hear Splash is a breeze for you.

John

  ### 48. Great platform for events, as long as you have enough collaborators

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 24, 2022

**What do you like best about Splash?**

I like that you can schedule mailings to your users, and that there is an app that is easy to use on the iPhone as well as through a computer web browser. I do wish there was more discoverability with this tool to help people find events.

**What do you dislike about Splash?**

I don't like that there is a cap on collaborators with our team's account. We had our organizer out of town for a watch party, and I wasn't able to add more collaborators. This meant I had to hand my phone to somebody else. Not very secure.

**What problems is Splash solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am solving the problem of maintaining a community presence with the event platform that Splash has built. It is nice not to have to figure out who to invite to each event - Splash takes care of that for us.

**Official Response from Haley Kaplan:**

> Thank you for the review. We're glad that our mailing system and app work well for you.

I'd love the opportunity to address your issues with collaborators and account organizers. We have many services available.

You can email me at haley.kaplan@splashthat.com, and I'd be happy to get you help and answers.

  ### 49. Splash has made my life so much easier!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Samantha P. | Field Marketing Manager, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 09, 2022

**What do you like best about Splash?**

The best feature of Splash is the ability to totally customize the look and feel of your landing page. It provides a great branded experience.

**What do you dislike about Splash?**

I don't have any downsides the software currently.

**What problems is Splash solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The ability to quickly format landing pages without the support of MOPs or designers has been a huge help.

**Official Response from John Wayne:**

> Hi Samantha:
Thank you for the review. We're glad that Splash is making your life easier.
Let me know if you ever need any assistance.

John

  ### 50. Splash is great!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 16, 2022

**What do you like best about Splash?**

We use Splash for our event RSVPs and for check-ins at our diversity conferences. We love the ability to customize the pages so easily, keep with branding guidelines, copy templates, host virtual events. It's been indispensable during the pandemic and will continue to be our main RSVP website for our in-person events too!

**What do you dislike about Splash?**

My one big gripe with the Splash tool is that invites go to the junk email box of attendees inbox. So we use Splash to send and track RSVPs, but then have to pull all comms after that into individual emails or Gem. Also, the mobile version does not work with my phone, either for editing or viewing pages.

**Recommendations to others considering Splash:**

Attend one of their events!!! They are super helpful and FUN!

**What problems is Splash solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Splash has really helped us create fun, unique websites for our event RSVPs that attract attention. The url matches each event and I can have my team work with me on a page without prior training!

**Official Response from John Wayne:**

> Thank you for the review. We're so happy Splash is working for your company. I've included a link below that can help point in you in the right direction for email deliverability issues if that has not been resolved.
