What do you like best about Spiro?

Spiro has adapted quickly to all concerns and needs in a very timely manner. The updates they roll out seem to address all the needs and wants our organization has. Sprio as a whole is very forward thinking and takes away all the clunkiness of traditional CRM's. Our employess are able to be much more efficient with spending 1/10th of the time in previous CRM's to notate their activities. The autmoation of tracking all activities and built in AI technology is amazing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Spiro?

Spiro has an upfront cost built in. They begin billing the day the contract is signed and payment for the full year for all users is required. Unlike many other CRM's that charge for implementation, Spiro does not charge a lot for this. They have creatively changed this to paying for the user monthly fees while the implenation is happening, so the 1st 2 months of the monthly user costs are really the implemenation costs. While this is anegative, I also see it as a creative way to sell their prgram and I applaud them for their crerativity in this billing structure. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Spiro?

Data, data, data! As a sales representative that represents several solutions, it's incredible to be able to see my performance in each category of solutions we offer, this allows me to focus on my deficiencies where necessary. The reports generated by Spiro are valuable and informative when assessing one's own performance. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Spiro?

Not too excited about making phone calls via Spiro. The signal is spotty at times, unreliable. I have given up on this feature. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Spiro solving and how is that benefiting you?

Sales follow-up was my biggest weakness. Spiro has made it much easier to track my sales calls and be up to date on each opportunity. The campaign feature is excellent as well! So much easier to reach a large group of clients with such ease. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Spiro?

Spiro's customer support and responsiveness, as well as their see-through on user testing and feature set updates. The training and assistance is very prompt and precise. Precise meaning that my account manager(s) are capable of handling everything I throw at them, and can get me an answer/solution quickly. This is not the case with Spiro competitors or with other SaaS products in general and the minute you guys lose that is the minute I will begin to question our future. Please, never underestimate your customer service.

On the product itself, my favorite thing is the ability to customize it quickly and utilize spreadsheet import/export to handle my own data engineering. It's a wonderful product with slick functionality, but is even more dangerous when it grows with you/you grow with it.

I've mentioned in past reviews that the Reports section is another thing I like best. The Spiro team has gone above and beyond to understand and map out my company data and it has been a game changer of me equipping my sales staff with the knowledge/info they need to be independent warriors. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Spiro?

The campaigns feature - I am really looking forward to improvements coming on it. In B2B sales, the more I can free up my salesmen to do quick and efficient targeted marketing, the more I can empower them to be dangerous.

Other items of dislike would be some of the navigation pitfalls (i.e. can't set Opportunity Pipeline view as default, can't add an opportunity while on pipeline view, and some misc. wiki-type-navigation upgrades that could make it more efficient to use. That said, it still operates very quickly so the extra clicks aren't too much of a hassle. Note: I am not a salesperson using this as a full time sales tool, but an owner who uses it to dive into data.

Also, the notifications aspect of it is something I have a hard time with. We've set up e-mail alerts for new opportunities and such, which are great, but I'd love an "unread" icon of sorts to show up on an opportunity that is new on the pipeline, or a time ticker by one that hasn't been opened in ~10 days or so. Once you get 30+ opportunities in your pipeline, it gets tough to navigate and differentiate.

The collaboration aspect of Spiro could be improved. We just got the "Teams" feature added on and am getting some use on that, but there might be some improvements to be made on this. Our use case explained: I have salesmen and product designers. I'd like to be able to have a salesman create an opportunity and assign it to multiple product designers to engineer different aspects of a system for that opportunity. Could be done through a google sheets doc link thrown on the opportunity, however all parties need to be included on just that one opportunity and not the entire company's opportunities (which is how it currently operates, I think?) if that makes sense. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering Spiro:

My biggest learning experience has been the conversation with my sales team before we purchased a CRM to now. We thought we needed a CRM for completely different reasons than what we're now realizing. That is both good and bad. Bad in the way that we weren't fully prepared for how our sales process would change, our customer interactions would change, the internal behavior/software learning, and so on. We underestimated all of that. The good news is that the growth has been good growth for us, and has challenged us to becoming more organized and more professional. The goal is to do this without hindering efficiency and customer service, and Spiro does a great job of being quick to use and flexible to program to aide in that. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Spiro solving and how is that benefiting you?

The biggest, most immediate problem I solved was getting sales data regularly to my staff. I no longer have to refresh spreadsheets and run pivot tables in my nights and weekends and I thoroughly enjoy that.

The first process we really streamlined was our dealer onboarding. Our form collection, dealer authorization and information gathering, and overall collaboration are greatly improved. Achieved through Hubspot API for the form and the passing around of Spiro Opporutnities/Reminders for the collaboration. All info collected about the prospect is housed on the timeline and we have all the material we need to make decisions independently without having to run someone else down to see "if you talked with them yet".

We are about two months in to rigorous salesman use, and I am still collecting feedback from the sales team on how the tool has best been utilized overall. Each person is using it a little bit differently. I'd say the one common "aha" amongst all of them is BCC'ing the spiro assistant on outbound e-mails for quick opportunity creation. The real power will be after my team has been using it for 6 months and begins having recurring appointments, where they can go and see everything they've been discussing with their clients. We've never had that before and I am interested to see how much more professional we appear. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Spiro?

I enjoy working with my colleagues in this app to make and change suggestions and create sales goals with one another. The user can also display sales information to colleagues and network with other users in an easy to work with format. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Spiro?

I do not dislike using the application as much, other than the stiff movement of emails at times. The mail inbox can show all mailings well yet there are changes that can shift without meaning to perform this action. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I am able to show products with information in place and share quickly and efficiently with other users who are capable of making changes and reporting back through communication within the app itself. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
