SpiraTest is powerful software because it allows us to detect the errors in the tests, the previous and future mistakes. The system is quick to use, the options to manage the tests are precise and direct for the sought results. It is easy to use because it is ahead of what users are looking for since it is automatic. The support service responds quickly to our questions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Setting up this software can be confusing, but it went very well for us because the technical support team helped us through the entire installation process, and it was very fast, thanks to them. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
1. Excellent Technical/Customer Support. Both knowledgeable and personable!
2. Easy to use UI.
3. Great integration with their companion Automated Testing product – Rapise.
4. Ability to add Custom fields and Lists in many parts of the application.
5. Excellent support for creating Requirements that can be converted automatically to Test Cases.
6. Great dashboards for monitoring nearly all stages of testing and reporting.
7. Ability to integrate with GitHub. Not just for Version Management, but GitHub is very efficient at transferring/storing large amounts of data in a very timely manner. It can also be used as an alternative to TFS when using DevOps.
8. Built-in support/integration with Microsoft DevOps. Although we’re not ready to use this yet, it is a MUST HAVE for our automated regression testing. We intend to trigger the Spira tests to run by having DevOps push a change in build # into Spira. SpiraTeam can be configured to run ‘On Change in Build Number', so this process should be completely automated (once the regression testing scripts and SpiraTeam are set up.) Separate (customizable) directory structures for Requirements, Test Cases, Test Sets, and Documents provide a ton of flexibility when creating these records. However, with that Flexibility, I’ve found it difficult to keep the directory areas somewhat similar so that when I’m looking at the directory for Requirements, I know where in the directory of Test Cases to find the related Test Case. Once the Test Case has been linked to the original requirement, Spira provides a link to easily navigate between Requirements and related Test Cases within either record, but I like the ability to make that move without having to open the Requirement or Test case record first. By carefully maintaining the Directory structures in different locations, I've been able to move past this.
2. Website Knowledge Base – I've had some difficulty searching and locating relevant items in Inflectra’s Knowledge base. I love a new feature in Inflectra's companion product Rapise that displays context-sensitive functions, Knowledge Base Articles, and other documentation in a panel on the right side of the screen. Now it’s very easy to locate Rapise KB articles and other documentation without ever leaving the Rapise development area. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The tool had an amazing features for logging the defects and monitor the cases which will be very helpful for the QA team analyst. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The tool could be more enhanced so that it can be integrated with the other testing tools as well so that it can be more improved Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It is a tool for evaluating and executing executable tests that allow the user to alternately view each process of their project. It has a fairly fast interface in terms of execution and quality management, it allows the integration of various formats and systems which makes it a good tool for those in charge of business development tasks, which gives them a greater range of visualization to create each activity adapted to your requirements as a professional or as a company Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It is a tool that requires knowledge in the area of business development, but I do not consider it to be an inaccessible or adaptable tool Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It's a good management tool, especially for test cases where you don't need to rely on other software; additionally, many of its functions are integrated within the platform with support, making it easy to put into practice. This tool offers a free trial, allowing you to try it out before investing in more extensive licenses for your business. It has easy-to-understand visualization capabilities, and the platform guarantees that your personal information will be kept safe. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It's a handy tool, but it comes with many features that aren't immediately obvious, and you'll need to know a bit of the software to get the most out of it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The flexibility to adapt their workflows to our unique SDLC and not be stuck with a specific SDLC workflow.
I also like the ability to control who can change different fields in each of the artifacts. Limiting the ability to change fields allows us to minimize the impact of users changing fields once development or testing has started. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
That the "display levels" does not work very well with the filters. I have opened a ticket on this, and Inflectra indicated that they know it, but no actual timeline of when the fix will be made or if it even would be fixed.
I wouldn't say I like how the requested state is opened to all users to change. Allowing all users to change at this state means we can lock down the fields by either adding an additional state or allowing all users the ability to edit. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It can able to create, edit and manage the project releases, pushing policies and categorizing the criticality of the project(prioritizing).
It has automated or default use cases, where it will run those test cases and gives fruitful results.
Also, along with automated scripts, it allowed the admin to write the manual use cases for improvement.
Bug detection is the main and important feature to highlight. It can be to detect the critical and low-impact bugs, which will help in pre-production to fix these issues. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The default use-cases are not that efficient to detect low-impact bugs, however, we can overcome them and take the help of the support team.
Sometimes, I have observed some performance issues. I hope this will be resolved with software updates. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Configuring the system is easy and i love the many option that were present for set up. The system manages well Test cases and Test reporting in a tremendous way. Navigation between tests is effortless when on a web-based. The user interface is well organized and clean. With the regular update it keeps getting better and we recieved more than we paid for. It is a stable product for us and had very few instances of outages. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

SpiraTest is a program that I use very frequently. I like its design and the functions it offers. The program by itself carries out tests as the project is structured; this greatly facilitates the work of the organizers since it advances the manual review. I like the feeling that you are always in control of what you are doing, and with this software, it is very safe to go step by step, validating and checking the effectiveness of what you are creating. With SpiraTest, we can validate the implementation of the project in real users and prevent the true development of the project in situations that are fully in line with reality. It would be nice to work in SpiraTest with a more significant number of test cases. The program is quite fast, but for large projects, it would be advisable to improve the export and import processes to reduce work times. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It is user-friendly in the most genuine sense of the word. I like how it organizes test requirements. It breaks it down into tiny bits to ensure every part is moving and achievable within a given time frame, much like a project management tool. I also like being able to roll out test products to people on the outside instead of having our IT team do the testing themselves. This helps us ultimately manage expectations and gives us a good idea of what to expect. It provides us with excellent reporting on test cases and helps us build better generally. I think they have to work on its integration capabilities. I would like to be able to integrate it with other software and be able to pull up metrics conveniently. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
