They have such an incredible array of ready assets you can use to pretty much create anything, with different textures and complexity, it's wild! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The asset library could be bigger and more options for real-time customization Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

All options while designing are on one screen and real-time preview of how the trees look like when you make changes. You do not need to switch screens, and there are multiple options to choose from Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There is no cloud-based if you want to use it on a different computer. You need to know ad learn on your own — very minimal support. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

SpeedTree facilitates you with easy-to-use tools to generate any type of unique trees and vegetation you want to use in your 3D world. The resulted trees can be exported to game engines like Unity3D and Unreal Engine. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The only thing I dislike is that you can't collapse the trees into editable meshes. So, the trees made can not be imported and edited in another 3D tool like Blender. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Ease of setup and creation. Assets are scalable/optimized. Efficient and beautiful materials. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Sometimes the integrations with game engines fall behins on updates. Didn't support Unity HDRP/URP for a long time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I love the ability to procedurally generate unique foliage within a given species to give my scenes that extra hint of realism. The speed with which you can make tweaks and build custom hero prop foliage is game-changing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Speedtree can be a bit glitchy at times when it's trying to figure out the kinematics of complex bends and can take quite a lot of tweaking to get the look you want. That isn't to say that hand sculpting the same tree in ZBrush would be faster, not by any measure but it can be frustrating. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
