It's the most intuitive and helpful tool I've found for identifying audiences for my clients, influencers, and creators for my projects. Lately, I've been particularly impressed with the "Compare Audiences" feature, which has been incredibly useful for identifying very specific audience segments. **What do you dislike about SparkToro?** The tool is most useful for English-speaking countries and users. The further my research from US, the more vague the data become **What problems is SparkToro solving and how is that benefiting you?** SparkToro offers intuitive and data-driven audience research tools that help find audiences for clients based on their interests or competitors. ### 2. I only can guess who these players are. SparkToro allows us to determine who our potential clients follow and apply the same methods to attract potential clients. The tool provides valuable AI insights to reshape our small business marketing activities. For the best players (or online hangout sites), SparkToro provides the best keywords. It is a technical job to use these keywords to improve the searchability of our online products. **What do you dislike about SparkToro?** We are a Canadian company. We would appreciate having insights with regards to local businesses (though it is all online, in-person contacts may be very much beneficial). The majority of results provided by the tool were from US companies. **What problems is SparkToro solving and how is that benefiting you?** SparkToro is a must for market research. It eliminates guesswork from SEO tune-up and improves Google Ads targeting. It also allows for finding fake Twitter followers and excluding corresponding groups from potential advertising targets, saving $$$ by that. ### 3. The best audience intelligence I've ever used. If you cater to Europeans, it gets much more challenging. UK audiences are represented but Germany and other European countries are amiss. **What problems is SparkToro solving and how is that benefiting you?** Great for researching audiences, building more targeted and personalized communication, and discovering channels that are more organic to your audience. Faster, and less expensive than running surveys, not to mention customer interviews ### 4. I like that they have an intro instructional video and guided tour to get you started. There are also tips on different tabs to know exactly what you're looking at (specifically for the audience research and lists tab). Creating lists is simple and filtering through the data is easy as well. You literally get research that would typically take weeks to months through surveys, interviews, and scouring the internet with just one click of the search button within seconds. **What do you dislike about SparkToro?** Since this is such a new tool that I haven't seen before, it's kind of hard to pinpoint something I dislike or might think is missing. The only thing I could think of is regarding usage of monthly searches/queries-- it resets every month, but if you don't use say 10 out of the 50 searches you have for the month, will they roll over? I haven't had that happen so I'm not sure if they do, but according to the website, it just resets every month. Might be something to consider. **What problems is SparkToro solving and how is that benefiting you?** Saving time in researching our audience and targeting customer insights without extensive web browsing, research, and other activities. The insights are very useful in our research. ### 5. Using answers to simple questions, like "My audience frequently talks about" or "My audience use these words in their profile" you can shape your audience and save precious time. You can find very important groups which you would never think about! When you know the size and geography of the target groups, google ads become much more effective, as everybody knows. The size of the query results is astonishing. For example, answering "virtual health" query brought 10,000 potential groups and listed websites we never knew about. **What do you dislike about SparkToro?** It is not exactly my problem as I am a consultant, but the price tag may be pretty steep for a small business. However, you can always use a free license with limited functionality. Also, I was thinking about integration but never found any possibility to do that. **What problems is SparkToro solving and how is that benefiting you?** For shaping a Meta or google ads campaign, want to reduce the number of no-clicks. To achieve this, you need to know which social accounts are the most followed, which websites your target audience visits, or the size and geography of the potential audience. SparkToro provides the answers in mere minutes! ### 6. We were able to discover new audiences for campaigns. For example, while searching for audiences interested in "mental health", we identified some very interesting categories like "health advocates". 2. I also love the opportunity to establish collaboration with colleagues. The same search for "mental health" led us to several companies interested in "self-care". We were able to establish a connection and get our content published! And the most important fact that can make or break it for me is that the tool is very intuitive, and there was no steep learning curve! **What do you dislike about SparkToro?** We are a small and lean company, and the price tag for the Premium version is a bit too much for me (I would sign up in a heartbeat if it were 5-10 times less... just joking). Also, with the free version comes a limited number of searches. The problem with search results is that it sometimes returns companies that are not very relevant and just have huge exposure to social media, but it also counts as a search attempt. **What problems is SparkToro solving and how is that benefiting you?** We utilize the tool to design our marketing campaigns and establish collaboration. It also provides another point of view on SEO leading to the discovery of new keywords and relevant content topics. ### 7. The data on low-volume industries/niches is not as reliable yet, but it's getting better and better. **What problems is SparkToro solving and how is that benefiting you?** Working in a company that's tackling various industries, it's really hard to know the audience.
