What do you like best about Sourcescrub?

I appreciate the tagging/list saving and boolean search terms. Being able to search for companies based on employee size, location, etc. are great at narrowing down quality prospects. Also, checking trade show lists gives me more prospects to consider when I don't have the right search terms off hand. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Sourcescrub?

There are still some issues with emails bouncing. Bounce rates can be as high as 15%. SS does make it easy to get these fixed, but the issue remains that you have to revisit the same prospects a second time, which can be tedious. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Sourcescrub solving and how is that benefiting you?

Source scrub makes sourcing deals a breeze. 1) searching using the boolean search terms means I can exclude specific phrases, and include specific phrases. 2) ease of saving lists/tagging. I can return to the same search over and over again, and only see newly added companies. I can easily include/exclude companies I have tagged from this search so there is no duplication of efforts. 3) Ease of export & the wealth of information included in the export. I can use the export for linkedin URL's, contact info, business descriptions, ownership status & investment firms, and so forth. This export is then easily imported into my CRM (since there is no integration offered between my software choices). These efficiencies mean that I can reach out to more potential acquisition targets than before and keep my historical activities organized. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The best part about SourceScrub is that it organizes data into sources vs. just using keyword matching, which allows me to identify more similar companies that may not appear similar on the surface. What do you like best about Sourcescrub?

Our target focus is on bootstrapped businesses, and having SourceScrub has been an incredible resource in finding quality companies to go after. The ability to have a filterable, searchable database of companies that fit our criteria has made us so much more efficient, and has increased deal flow quality and quantity. What do you dislike about Sourcescrub?

The user interface with SourceScrub is not that great. The dashboards can be slow, and scrolling and tagging and other actions can lag and take a while. Although I'm happy with the results from the platform, I sometimes don't want to use the platform because of the clunky UI. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Sourcescrub solving and how is that benefiting you?

It's hard to find bootstrapped businesses on your own, and having a full , in-depth database filled with companies that fit that criteria has been so helpful. What do you like best about Sourcescrub?

IT is well organized and rich with easily accessible data. It can be integrated to our CRM pretty seamlessly. The Source Scrub google extension also makes tracking and accurately mapping associated company personnel very easy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Sourcescrub?

The listings can sometimes contain inaccurate data or data that is stale. However, the team does do a good job of doing additional research to get the record cleaned up. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Sourcescrub solving and how is that benefiting you?

What do you like best about Sourcescrub?

Sourcescrub is a key part of the investment process at my fund. Few other tools offer the same breadth of information for proprietary sourcing that SourceScrub does, and the integration of humans into the data ingestion process is something I have found to truly differentiate the data the platform produces.

I like the integration with our CRM the most however, as I am able to quickly scout / screen prospects. This is an essential part of the process for me. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Sourcescrub?

Some of the financing data on SourceScrub is not updated as frequently as I would like. Often times SourceScrub will report no raises within the last 8 months but I search the name of the company and they raised last month.

Also, the UI of the extension could use some work. It can be inefficient in my sourcing process due to the number of clicks required to get the info I need. HOWEVER, I did push a number of these complaints to the team and they promptly implemented a number of them. Glad to see they are in-tune with their users. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

SourceScrub aggregates, filters, and groups key data points that are relevant to our research process when looking into prospective investments. What do you like best about Sourcescrub?

I find the best thing about SourceScrub is conference scraping, it's extremely easy to export conference lists, including contact information, to excel. Additionally, it's great for finding company contact information in general Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Sourcescrub?

My least favorite thing about SoureScrub is the search functionality, I find that the suggestions are always in legal names which I'm not as familiar with. Additionally, I sometimes have to refresh before I can make another search which is annoying Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Sourcescrub solving and how is that benefiting you?

When I'm doing sourcing, I want to be able to go to one resource to find all relevant high level info on a company (size, year founded, description, headcount, contact information), and Sourcescrub makes that easy Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Sourcescrub?

Sourcescrubs interface is extremely easy to use and the plug in makes information gathering so quick and simple. I also really like the similar company search for target evaluation Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Sourcescrub?

I haven't had any major issues yet. I hope they build out the similar company search though so it becomes more reliable/better at combing website data as sometimes it can be pretty off as you go down the list Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
