I like that it is very easy to use. We are able to simple login to the repository as admins and view all the artifacts that are being used by various proxies and also by various teams. It is also helpful to upload binaries from any server and retrieve them using simple commands. We use Nexus Repository in our daily BAU activities in our devops team. I don't like the fact that there isnt a better UI for viewing logs. When you are logged in as admins and you would like to view and capture logs, we have to manually set the timer and keep scrolling rather than it being automated. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Fit all my needs for artifact management. Easy to use, flexible, and easy to integrate into our CI/CD processes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Sometimes, it's difficult to understand all the different options provided, and default pricing plans don't always fit any company's needs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It allows us to store, organize, and retrieve artifacts like JAR files, Docker images, npm packages etc. We use its dependency management tools that enable us to define and track dependencies between artifacts, ensuring that the correct versions are used and resolving any conflicts. Getting started and configuring it requires a learning curve, especially for beginners or those unfamiliar with repository management systems. The flexibility and extensive configuration options of Nexus Repository can sometimes make it complex to set up and manage. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Nexus is one of the widely used Repository Manager to host all the required project libraries and collaborate easily with the developers from the entire team. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Lacks options to add any Comments and to view the history of libraries similar to the version control system. It would be great if it has the Version control with History view information. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The best part here is that it has its intelligence of open source tracking vulnerabilities and many licenses types and integrates seamlessly with all the respective microservice applications and also with all the CI/CD tools without any risks by continuous monitoring Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Repo source code integration with sona type can be enhanced more because some limitations are there which need to be improved as the API's are not plugged in properly when I checked in DevOps pipeline devlopement activities Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Covers all the repo types for all types of CI builds which ticks the boxes for all development teams. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Indexing and caching aren't great from the administration side of things. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The fact that it supports multiple repository types like maven, docker, BAR files etc Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It utilizes a lot of system resources, especially when there is a huge amount of artifacts stored. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The best thing I like about Nexus Repository Manager is that the version uploads are tracked transparently and provide details like the version number, file size, uploader, and usage information. Being from the Product team at ZS, I (or anyone else from the team) can download the latest versions uploaded by the Engineering team for UAT with only a couple of clicks, which is really desirable. It helps reduce the communication requirements between the Engineering, Testing, and Product teams significantly, Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There is nothing in particular that I like about Nexus Repository Manager. Still, I would like to suggest some enhancements to the Repository Manager. A feature should be added to insert comments by different team members regarding the versions (in case there are bugs in the versions shared), and then these could be transparently viewed by all the members of the team. This would further help in reducing communication requirements within the team Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
