It has very good features that you can't do in the regular solidworks motion studies. Also a big plus is that it makes it much easier to animate large assemblies as it's not doing all the calculations that regular SW has to do. Highly recommend for marketing animations, 3d assembly instruction for techs that use tablets or computers instead of paper drawings, and for creating manuals or customer instructions.
