I like how realistic it can make a Sketchup View look. Between the varying levels of light and surface reflectivity, and the different materials you can add, you can really balance shade and shadow and light. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It does take a lot of processing power and time. We would often let it run for a few hours on a separate computer untouched. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Very handy and easy to use. Took my renders to the next level. It saves a lot of time so you dont have to waste much time in rendering now. Expecting more amazing things in next updates. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The user interface do not look much appealing. It needs some upgradation in my opinion. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The good quality it produce when rendering is just wonderful Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Not a dislike but a request, it's missing a feature which is supporting other platforms for architects like revit for instance.. that would be a game changer for many users Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It is a freeware software. The materials in Kerkythea are of excellent quality and accurate. It availability across platforms. It really helps in saving time and money for producing decent render quality. It's very efficient with it's time taken to render. As a Sketch-up user I can say it's helpful and easy to render models produced in Sketch-up. The compatibility of the software is amazing even though it is a bit limited. Right now I feel like it's really helpful for only sketch-up and 3Ds Max user. It'll be great if they supported other format to import. It's interface is little tricky to get used. And it takes time to get in flow with the interface of the software. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Their commitment towards the work given to them. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Sometimes they provide too many good options which becomes very hard to choose from! haha. IT's great! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Always a fan of free software, but love the fact that if you install the SketchUp plugin, just a few clicks (and a bit of a wait depending on the processing power at your disposal) gets you an image with SketchUp-consistent mapping and global illumination to boot. The 2008 version is the last free version before the developers branched out into making Thea Render. As I remember, it is a significant jump up from the 2007 version, but still is somewhat clunky as a piece of software by today’s standards. The integration with the Windows shell would be a major bugbear for many. Try to look past this and remember that Kerky 08 is very old... and very free. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The outcomes and end renders on Kerkythea are really high quality. The program has great materials and outputs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The program takes a little adjusting to get used to. Like most rendering programs understanding the program does have a learning curve and would reccomend a video tutorial. It is also more compatable with some programs better than others. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
